1. I was gonna post the same thread!! ha!!

Personally i would prob have to swallow my pride and say well done.

But what would worry me is his tactical naivity (spelling) and ability to cut the mustard in the prem.

If he did get us promoted again and god....i hope he does i think it would be dignified of him to

step aside and let someone else take us to the next level as i really dont think he can do that!!

  2. Fully agree with his comments!!

Its a debate that has been on here for some time as to how others percieve us and how we lacked ambition when we went up!

I think Wigan and West Ham have proved that once there you have to make the most of it,as Sheff U and Reading will be too, after announcing next years budget!

The premiership was definately a lost opportunity!!

  3. Safs is my fave player but.......for a playmaker i dont feel he offers enough! A playmaker is somebody who will create  numerous amount of goals (Crook) i can only think of 1 defence splitting pass for Earnie V Leicester and they will also chip in with there fair share of goals.

As i said i do love the guy but i dont feel he is creative enough. He does favour the side ways ball alot aka Mulryne which is soooooo frustrating. How often do we use Hucks,Earnie and Leons pace with a scintillating through ball for them to chase? NOt often.....Plus his injuries are worrying as he seems to miss more games than he plays!!

  4.
If you can''t take the ups and downs of supporting your footbal club then you might as well become a glory-hunter and support Man U.
Sums up alot of the stupid crap that people are putting on here.Maybe if people dont renew the season tickets the club will realise what needs to be done.

  5. For me this is crazy.Im totally gobsmacked. This totally sums up Worthy.

Preston are by far the best team i have seen here this season, infact i think and hope they go up.But what baffles me is

how Jarrett is not deemed good enough by Worthy but is by Billy Davies.A man who has worked wonders with his team, who actually play good, entertaining football anda team who use there midfield.

I hope JJ goes on to do really well and prove Worthy wrong.

Unfortunately i feel as though the wrong man has gone.Worthy must go.

  6. I was born in 82 so it is purely based on players from my generation:

                                                              Gunn

    Culverhouse              Watson                                Bruce              Bowen

    Gordon                     Crook                              Townsend             Eadie

                                     Sutton                              Bellamy

    Subs

    Green

    Drury

    Butterworth

    Fox

    Roberts

  7.   Wo. Just called up to get a ticket for a mate and i could not believe the bloody price for tomorrow!!

£24!! unbelievable am i the only one who feels that this is a bit harsh considering its only Derby who are not exactly a glamour team are they!!

I think i paid the same price to see Chelsea last yr!!

Lets just hope its better than the shower we witnessed on tuesday!!

  8. My Cardiff mate thinks Thorne is better and im sure he has seen them more than we have!!

Why is it with every other forward we seem to say "your only as good as the service you get" but with Thorne it doesnt seem to count!

The guy needs to be given a chance not 1 or 2 games a run of 7-10 then we should judge!

Im sure if he could score goals at Stoke and Cardiff he is more than capable of doing t with us!

Yes Lee looked bloody good yesterday but go back to line 2!!

  9. All of a sudden our strike force seems tasty again!! Johansson,Mcveigh,Mckenzie,Thorne and Earnshaw!!

What pairing do you wanna see? I have a feeling that Earnshaw and Thorne may bear fruit as they were prolific together at Cardiff.

Johansson and Earnshaw? Plenty of experience and instinct.

Mckenzie and Earnshaw? Pace to burn

Mcveigh And Earnshaw? Not sure it will happen despite all the ability

Anyone else agree that Earnshaw is a more natural goalcorer than Ashton?

  10. Just tryin to get inside Worthys head to think who he may be interested in. Below is how i think he would sell the idea to the board!!

    Can anyone add anymore??

    * Francis Jeffers ( I was impresed with his spell at Rangers)

    * Andy Gray (Is being rested at the mighty Sunderland so will be fresh)

    * Mark De Vries (Surely is unhappy at Leicester)

*Ade Akinbiyi (Potent finisher and our fans love him which may earn me some brownie points!!)

  11. I hate too say it but after the ankle injury i jut dont think he will be a valuable asset anymore.

Leon aint a bad championship player, full of heart and determination but he is never going to spearhead our attack again.

I will be totally suprised after this injury if he is still around in 2yrs. Hope im wrong.
