    At 45 mins plus we just shoot ourselves in the foot. It is now 4 times in last few matches where we have conceded in this period and lost points which if not conceded would have probably resulted in enough points to put us clear at the top. Bristol C, Nottingham Forest, Derby Co and now Sheff Utd, Probably all could have been won if we had been more practical to see out the first half. Was hoping we would get to half time yesterday in the lead which looked likely until Buendia's crazy push. You would have hoped Farke would have instructed the players to be aware at this and be wary at this important time. All of the above goals could have been avoided. Hope this trait is stopped and we can stay in the promotion picture.

    That if at the end of this fantastic season that if we fail to make it to the PL. This team will be broken up to pay for the previous failure of the Board to manage finances under previous managers. If we could keep the squad intact next season we could anticipate greater success. I would hope after last season reaping a reported £36m windfall from Maddison and Murphy we should have enough to avoid sales in the summer. But lets not concern ourselves with what ifs and get the job done this season. Need to get the defence sorted and it will be straight forward. unfortunately we have become so leaky since Godfrey has been introduced into the defence, although the goals that have been conceded have been attributable to Godfrey we do need experience in that position. Hope Klose returns soon to turn draws into wins.

    Hope Nelson's attitude will have improved, Reading don't need a troublemaker rocking the boat.

    Thought they might question stamping against Brum to Gallagher and would have expected Mills to say it was deserved. Probably bitter about a career that was mediocre at best no great shakes as a pundit. SSN has record of using numpties though and presenters can read autocue but are ignorant of the correct pronunciation esp Irish racecourses. Don't get me started on the idiot they have entering the words along the bottom of the screen English not a first language obviously.

    Hooper now starring in PL, not really don't believe will see him in Champs certainly hope not. But we need to be more demonstrative although doing so may not have the desired effect we are so nice. Stiepermann excepted. Gardiner was on a mission to crock Emi and succeeded seems not too serious as he is some player we are fortunate to have him, not the only candidate for praise all over the park.

    Only surprise is it took so long for this to be posted. TT played very well however not a great deal of pressing from Brum, but excellent performance spent much of the time in the back 3 while Max and Jamal went up the pitch. More challenges to come hope TT will cover for Tettey as effectively if he does Farke has problems re DM. Back to last season's form needs to be more than one game.

    Huddersfield in PL were pale imitations of Champs performance, But miracle to keep them up if relegated most likely Wagner could have worked magic again. Falling on his sword was either brave man of honour or selfish move not relegation on my watch. Who is going to want to be new manager not Fat Sam (never relegated) perhaps a failed continental/ South American but no respecting manager would endure 5 months of failure with relegation at end. Call for Phil Brown.

    Hernandez to be on bench where his efforts have been recently been rewarded. Cantwell seems to be a favourite of Farke. That means 4 English in starting 11 Aarons, Lewis. Krul and Cantwell. Godfrey to miss out to Klose and Zimm on bench with Hanley, Thompson as one of midlield subs with Maclean. Rhodes and Srebeney as striking options. That's us covered for English quota,

    In interview on Saturday on Canary Call JR said he didn't believe there was a recall by Wednesday.

    Cannot say I haven't been critical of Krul but you must be impressed by some of recent saves yesterday and Brentford. I agree that he is value for the money paid and any other would have been prohibitive in terms of purchase and wages. We need to find a way to counteract the pressing game as this will have been noticed by other teams. Performance after players returning from injury impacted that performance. But a draw to extend the run away was excellent need to keep it going at Leeds but more patients returning is good news just need to be in contention.

    Unlikely to be on 4 weeks in a row Birmingham 19/1, Leeds 2/2 and Ipswich 10/2. But would be attractive to Sky but Leeds also out and Villa do they have fixtures that day they are media darlings. Leeds v Rotherham and Villa v Ipswich that day will go ahead no cup dates for any of those four.

    If true Farke has given up re promotion. If we get promoted Klose will resign and his experience will be required. If promotion and start giving out long term expensive contracts, if relegation follows which is likely we are as deep in the brown stuff as 2 years ago. If promoted would advise contract extensions to those only in last year i.e. Klose leave others alone with bonuses for staying up and if successful big contracts would follow when affordable after 2 PL seasons.

    Sheff Utd brought on talisman Sharp on 65 mins surely would not have done this unless trying to rescue the tie. Just read Sheff Canary according to Sky Sports News Utd have already made two loan signings including Madine from Cardiff.

    Basic reason for conceding at corners zonal marking, goals conceded by players not being picked up, second goal for Forest a prime example.

    Raggett only loaned until January available for Rotherham recently following injury is a possibility at CB. Others such as Hernandez and Trybull not played much may get more game time. Farke has fielded strong teams in the cup in past current position hopefully will see prudence in selection and will see a number of strangers. Pompey will select with similar eye on promotion and may rest better performers.

    Utility player would love to see Harrison Reed back on a perm if we can get for reasonable sum, would cover at DM and RB. Pinto and Oliviera will only go if someone wants them to sign may need Pinto as FB in Jan. Trybull has not get much game time because of the resurgent Alex Tettey who even played 4 games in 10 days which caught up with him yesterday, thought yesterday was better than Hull certain starter against Pompey and even more dependent of AT fitness.

    Zimmermann at LB would be disastrous mobility a strong factor against him, Pinto would be an option if fit haven't heard much lately not ideal though. Possibility would be three at back with two wing backs for first half maybe?

    Same feeling of trepidation for me so much put £20 on Derby in the hope my lack of success in punting on football would ensure a home win. at 2-0 and romping it looked like this was a mug punt. A bet I didn't want to win but 13 undefeated seemed unlikely. The £66 takes the edge slightly off the disappointment. Just need to start a new run but need to improve defensively.

    Zimmo has been poor since he went to pieces against Bolton by misplacing pass back to Krul early in second half couldn't kick straight for good 15 mins and Bolton scored first soon after and a second later. Today his distribution was appalling and was a major factor in the poor defensive display. Farke said only wanted Klose to play 25 mins against Forest if so why wasn't Hanley played instead?

    If it weren't the 46th minute we could have won all four most the recent games. Equaliser concede against Bristol City, Forest score first against the run of play and now today Derby equalise all in the 46th minute. Can we just try to keep it tight after the first 45 or at least launch it into Row Z.

    Well done Pete at last a prompt injury update. Maclean and Thompson coming back from injury doubt we will see Thompson during Jan hope Maclean very soon. Marshall given good reviews against Birmingham back in Aug got injured and cannot replace Aarons lets see who is brought in as full back.

    Should have reap PInk Un home page before posting. Maybe start with three at back to keep it tight for first half with Max and Marshall or Paslack Wing Backs, Tettey as DM rejuvenated AT to play 4 games in 12 days. Then get at them in 2nd Half . To counter Wilson free kicks need someone on the line. Ti give Tim a hand better still cut out the fouls around the box and just hoof it out when we get to the 46th minute. If we tried this tactic would have beaten Bristol C and Forest.

    Doubt if this is true as spurs now playing a young RB Kyle something double barrel and he managed 3 assists yesterday. Not saying he will not go as extremely talented, but needs to play not go to big club and sit on bench perhaps.
