  1. OP says we have played badly in several games, does that mean we have played well in the others. Can't recall what games we have played well in, only sporadically have we been anything approaching satisfactory. Overall we have been poor due to personel or tactical issues. If we had been playing well this season Wagner would not have been in line for dismissal.

  3. Maybe back in the new year will not be match fit for a month following. Don't expect Josh to be of mwaximum until February.
  4. He will be a miracle worker to get a tune out off our Dads Army. However might just get a style of play that will suit and even some attractive football. In short supply since end of the season before last PL debacle.
  5. This is the first time I can recall where we have loaned a player to a half decent team and they have got regular games. He needs to stay and see out the season and maybe get a winners medal come back to City and perform. Better for the lad than to return to City's plodding performances and brief run outs from the bench if he makes it to the bench.
  6. Thanks Broadstairs for reminding me Forshaw is the one with the one year contract. Batth here for more than one season therefore.
  7. When and if Hanley and Gibson return what does that do for Batth. 4th choice CB on a largish wedge sitting out warming the bench. Given how often he has played I would suggest a total waste of money we cannot afford.
  8. Terrific run against league bottom dwellers. Have we beaten one of top half teams other than opening 6? Bigger challenges to come if can compete against the better teams might give credit.
  9. It is a brilliant performance 2nd half accordint to Sky commentator
  10. Norfolk n good heed to tell you derby is on Saturday, wouldn't want to miss that
  11. If we had signed Bannan when we sold Emi, instead os squandering on Tzolis and Rashica it could ber so different today. Aged yes but still a creative force. Unfortunately not a player Webber would have considered until going down the golden oldie route this season.
  12. Tompkinson got good raps from Steve Evans early in loan spell, got a few games. Then guess what ? he got injured and missed out further first team football in Stevenage promotion push.
  13. Best get used to the Preston plan, shutting up shop at Carrow Rd. Upcoming Sheff Wed, Huddersfield and Rotherham will all adopt similar tactics due to relegation fears. Recently we have faced teams who no longer fear the two time Championship winners and recognise how poor we are and come to play and come awasy with wins. Luckily QPR only started to pick up results after their visit to Norwich otherwise their plan might have worked. Only way to overcome these tactics is score but to do that requires creativity in short supply at City.
  14. We need to find another Lambert as coach/manager to guide us out of this mess. We recruited Paul Lambert following relegation to League 1 and maybe a record home defeat 1-7 to Colchester. And in a worse position than we are. Lambert brought lower league experience gained from stints at Wycombe and Colchester. However he managed to earn promotion from League 1, through Championship and into the PL, playing good football during that run. He did this by recruiting by players from the lower reaches of the EFL and not investing huge sums while he did so. He did have the talent of the magical Grant Holt an incomer from the mighty Shrewsbury for peanuts. Going down the pragmatic route and getting in a coach from the lower leagues who can work within the financial constraints of Norwich City makes sense. An ideal coach would be Mark Robins who is doing a similar role at Coventry but has now started to improve them. I know the City faithful with their delusions would expect a bigger name, we do need to be realistic. Have been down the tried and trusted route and have secured Smith and Wagner and its not working out to well. If you want a suggestion for a candidate look at the guy at Leyton Orient. It may be a risk but as long the right selections are made and the team are competitive we can get behind the team. Which will be different to the current situation.
  15. Paying to watch this rubbish is madness. However feel sorry for ST holders have no option but to go coughed up £500. If you hadn't and there were less of you may have got rid of Delia by now.
