Re: Put up or shut up - Doncaster talks tougfh. What does this have to do with Norwich City?Really?? He''s our old chief exec.! A lot of people on here hate him. I enjoy reading about him fcuking up someone elses business. Fair enough most people in the world don''t have as many posts anywhere, as you do on this board, but they can post something they think people might like to hear. If you don''t want to read it, don''t! No wonder there are so few (genuine) new posters, and a so-called "inner circle". -
Last minute decisionto travel up to boro tomorrow, just wondering how much tickets are, and if can get them on the gate. Obviously the ticket office is closed, and the website doesn''t seem to be working for me. Also, if anyone knows where to park near the ground, that would be helpful. Cheers people! -
Chicken, I don''t think there is any way on earth, that we''d Hoolahan could not be considered a "senior player". He was bought for a start, not brought through the ranks. Although he''s out of favour, he''s not a kid. About to make his 100th appearance, and you think he''s not a senior player!! If he had 5 appearances, he''d not be a senior player. If Grant Holt wasn''t playing for 3 games, would you decide he wasn''t a senior player? -
Although Huddersfield away is probably my "happy shock" of 2010, 4-1 vs piswich, actually ranks up there with the beat days of my life. -
Having read a few posts on here from people wanting Leon Barnett hung, drawn and quartered for lashing out at the ref, I thought I''d start a little supportive post. All this seems to have overshadowed the news that he has signed permanently. And I''m chuffed that he''s ours! Please, support for Leon only in this thread! -
Lambert is King - I too sat in th barclay, and thought it was hilarious. Obviously, by laughing, I''m clearly supporting the abuse of officials. The guy lost his rag, threw a football at the ref. He''ll be punished by the club and the fa. I certainly don''t think any less of him for it. -
I think I''ll be watching the match at the whalebone on Sunday. anyone know what time they''ll open? Also, vie never been there. I hear it''s a city pub, so hopefully there''ll be a bit of atmosphere. Anyone else going? -
One full season, one league trophy, and still only 18. Word is that he''s had scouts looking at him for a while, and if we don''t look like challenging this season, he has more potential than any orther player, and we may cash in. I''m not saying it''s true, just heard it on the grapevine. -
I agree. Our best prospect. Very saleable though. -
Sounds plausible. I''ve also heard that if we fall away, Korey will be sold in January. Probably nothing in it, but where there''s smoke.... -
Would be about right. The FA could easily wait until Monday to have the hearing, but that''s far too helpful. Typically north Korean style dictatorship (at least that''s how it seems). He reacted angrily to poor decisions, that they''ve since admitted were incorrect. Straight to the headmasters office... If he''s banned from the dressing room, they should reserve morrisons cafe or half time. -
Coz they''re the s c u m! -
A harsh reply I know, but cant believe some people aren''t sure. The guy is quality. -
Everyones an effing critic! Honestly, "he has silky smooth skills on the ball. However, I''m a HUGE fan".... Bull! Let me guess, you''re also a coach of some sort like 75% of posters. He''s a quality player, no matter what anyone''s opinion is. I know nothing, but bleed yellow and green. He''s quality. Whether he "fits into our team" or not is for lambert to worry about. If he doesn''t, he will be sold. He''s an amazing player. I was slated to hell before the first ball was kicked for saying that if people want players like him, we should sacrifice our ST rebate. He doesn''t need a debate, he''s quality. Just the sort of player we need to push on up the leagues. He''s not played for 3 months and still wasn''t good enough for some people. How dare he! -
I quite agree with ct. They''ve been too badly run for too long. Any other business in the world would have gone bust way before they were so far gone. -
They can accept or refuse service to anyone they choose I''m afraid. Harsh, considering you had your ban overturned, but that''s customer service for you. Its the same in clubs, shops restaurants etc. -
Ha! I know exactly what happened with Chris Martin, and I won''t be saying anything more about it for obvious reasons. However, Morty, I can tell you it''s a bit more serious that "a crock of crap". I cant imagine he''ll get anything more than a fine, but just a crock of crap it ain''t! -
Did I imagine this, or did I read somewhere that this season there would be a change to this ridiculous rule that an injured player has to go off to come back on? You know what I mean? When your player gets injured because of a foul on him, but you then have to play with 10 men until the ref decides he can come back on. I''m sure I read it somewhere, but can''t seem to find anything now. -
What did he say? I remember him being upset to leave. -
I''m happy to pay it. But then I''m not a real supporter, because I don''t have a season ticket. I''ll pay whatever to go to the games I can get to. Stop ficking moaning, and deal with it! -
Who is they?? Well for those of us that have lives, and only POST occasionally. Everyone is moaning, bit for me, Keith is spot on. It''s About time the club was run tight, and got rid of the twats who buy tickets for their mates on the off chance that they''ll make the game! -
As a non st holder, imagine how I feel when I can get a ticket, but you''ve already got 2 for your friends, who might not make it!!!! I posses meoff, so I''m happy with this. I mean, admit it, you won''t just buy 2 tickets in the future. Because you won''t get the money back for a "silly mistake", and when I go, they''ll say, "yes, we''ve got two tickets in the ........". -
Show me where I said this, "And people who say "well i dont care if they rip us all off if it means we can sign andrew surman" are you for real."! At the end of the day, the club are trying to put together a better team. It needs paying for somehow. I seem to remember paying something like 30 to go to Leeds away next year. Why shouldn''t they put the prices up? They could keep them low, we''ll sign the usual dross, struggle at the bottom again. Probably end up going out of business. Perhaps you''d rather that than fork out an extra 4 for a ticket. They printed the ticket prices at the end of last season. Why has nobody complained sooner? If you don''t like it, you don''t have to go to the games. I''m sure someone less tight would gladly take your ticket. -
I couldn''t care less what they charge away fans. They''re coming to a lovely stadium or a nice day out. If they can''t afford it, don''t go. Grade A is appropriate for the first game of the season. If the price means 1000 more Norwich fans can buy tickets I''m all for it. And as for the "ryanair approach". They make money. These small charges add up. I understand that people can afford to fork more out, but how else are we going to afford a signing like Andrew Surman?we can''t keep expecting delia to sign players, that''s not how a business works. I''m happyto see the club at least trying to get back onto an even keel.
