Yep, dog just said that there was a medical scheduled for NCFC and that he had no more details.

    But.....

The OP said that the medical was happening now and it was a ''reliable friend'' that told him. The OP should be able to give us some more detail now?
All I said was a player was having a medical today. I know nothing more. The guy who told me has previously known about players signing well before they have signed, therefore he''s reliable. I''ve no reason to disbelieve him. He''s also never been wrong.

  2. Whilst I fully understand the boredom of the transfer windo rumour mill, and the influx of ridiculous ''rumours'', made up by kids/trolls all summer, this is still a discussion forum, and a norwich city one at that. Nobody has to read any thread they don''t want to. If you see the tittle, it clearly states what the thread is about, and the thread then starts a discussion. If you don''t like reading them, don''t. No need to ruin what could be a valid, relevant discussion about something somebody has seen regarding our club, with the self righteous, "oh another useless rumour" attempt at a put down. Ever wonder why this forum has so many members, but the same (very) few posters? Because people are ''not allowed'' to discuss relevant points, without the main point of the post becoming that someone dared to post in the first place. If we were in a pub chatting, and I said, "I''ve just spotted that we''ve offered a million for Adomah", the standard response wouldn''t be, "oh another twitter rumour", there would be a discussion about the merits/pitfalls of signing such a player. Feel free to discuss said merits/pitfalls of said player, and stop bit Ching about me posting a rumour seen on twatter!

  3. Following the recent interview with McNally, I''ve just read that as soon as Chris Hughton said that grant Holt was a big part of his plans, they agreed a 3 year deal within days. You have to remember that this was just after he handed in a transfer request. Reading between the lines, I can only assume that Paul Lambert had said that he wasn''t a big part of his plans. Or a deal would have been agreed before any such transfer request was made. I thought this was interesting, but maybe I''m reading too much into it. And for the record, I still think keeping him was a good move - even if he''s yet to rediscover his previous form.

  4. I wonder who we missed out on yesterday. If, as CH said previously, we were trying to sign a striker before yesterday, it wasn''t going to be Harry Kane. unless we always wait until an hour before the deadline to sort it. If it was him, he''d wouldn''t have been running around the spurs training ground at 10pm. As Dowie said, he''s not there because he forgot his boots!

With all the talk, and rumours, I think nobody had a clue. All the posters on here, who claimed a ''source'' can now feel free to tell us all who they are, as they obviously don''t know a thing.

  5.

Yeah, i''d love a cuddle. Jesus! The club have said over the years that "we all need to pull the same way". Fans have already started asking for Hughton to be sacked. After a single game!! Fans are divided already. It will take something pretty good next week to undo people''s opinions on the club/manager etc. from what I saw in pre season and yesterday, there is no sign of anything getting any better. It''s not one result, it''s an entire pre season that has led to this. Some statement from the club to reassure the fans, or even let them know that they''re as unhappy about it as we are, might help keep many more fans on side.

Re other clubs signing players, Swansea, everton, Sunderland all signed or signing players, this morning alone! Not huge clubs that we should be competing with, in league position as well as transfer targets. It would be nice to hear that we are at least trying to sign a certain caliber of player. Would certainly make me feel better.
But isn''t it obvious that they will be as unhappy as us? Or are you assuming that the whole team are relaxing on loungers, having their feet massaged, not caring a jot?I have said it before, and I will say it again, anyone who thinks a manager should be sacked after one COMPETITIVE game is an idiot. And re the pre season, had we won yesterday then folks would be carping on about how pre season means nothing.Fickle and pathetic.

I don''t believe I mentioned the players at all. Neither did I say that the manager should be sacked. I said that some fans already want him out. I think you''re reading what you want to read there. all I''m saying is that after such a non performance it would be good to hear something from the club, or some sort f good news to placate the crazies.

  7. Im not going to harp on more about the result yesterday - it speaks for its self. But after such a humiliating first day, it''s very apparent that something''s needs to be said or done. The club have said nothing. I''m seeing most other clubs linked with more and more players, and some are real quality. There seems to be nothing at all coming from our club. Some news regarding a player might help people forget about the absolute hiding we got yesterday. Or a statement to reassure fans that we are ok, and heading where we want to head. That sort of thing. Maybe some people higher up are realising that this is not the case. As long as the silence goes on, fans will make up their own minds.
