1. "Would love to see snoddy here, I may be mistaken but I seem to remember Barcelona having an interest in him a couple of years ago" He apparently turned down a trial for them when he was a youngster.
2. Definitely take Vokes back and keep OTJ for backup, but the fact he hardly played this year suggests he won''t get a look in next year. Also I''d take Earnshaw back in a flash.
3.
So PL''s contract is ''New and Improved'' - but we''re not told in which way it''s ''New and Improved''? Try marketing a new shampoo like that and you''d rightly be accused of treating people like idiots!
Completely different. Why should we care how much he has had is salary increased by? Lambert said it isn''t a long term contract so it''s almost certainly still the 12 month rolling contract, just with a larger salary for the three of them.
4. In relation to this, does anyone know if supermemberships auto renew, or do I have to ring up and get a new one/renew?
5. He''s played in a first team in a strong side in La Liga for the last two years. Could be at United for the next 20 years.
6. I''m in Sheffield Uni term time but knowing my luck the manc games will be over christmas and the other North games will be August and Easter!
7. Cardiff, then we will nick Long from Reading and Borini from Swansea (via Chelsea).
8. I wouldn''t say no to McAnuff either to be honest. Tricky tricky player.
9. On a slightly related subject I went to the Sheffield Uni v Hallam varsity football match yesterday and Howard Webb was the ref. He missed the Hallam keeper making a blatant save with his arm outside the area after messing up himself for which he should have been sent off. Obviously the pressure of a big game on his shoulders!! (Uni won anyway!)
10. Probably to add sweeping statements such as those?
11. Isn''t it normally after 28 days that they can recall them?
12. It was Tierney and yes but also alongside MK Dons (which was actually a really good goal to be fair)
13. Would definitely have Zavon Hines out of those two.
14. I''ll have PSV v heracles this week seeing as there a few English games on this week.
15. It''s a complete non-story. I was at the station after the game and in no way did "150 Norwich fans" try to attack the Ipswich fans. There was definitely abuse hurled at them and chanting of OTBC etc, and there dogs and batons present. I can only imagine this has arisen from the throwing of "missiles" (snowballs) as there was no contact between the fans. If they are in court for throwing a snowball then it is a joke. Almost a joke on the scale as the woman who phones 999 because her snowman was stolen. The Ipswich fans were on a separate platform and the only way of getting to them was over the tracks, there were well confined and as they were moved we were ushered through the ticket barriers so there was no possibility of contact between the two sets of fans.
16. Ahh forgot to pick this week. Unlucky to lose this week some strange results. If it''s not too late i''ll go for Chelsea to beat Liverpool
17. Ryman League South for me this week, where Metropolitan Police will surely beat Chatham Town at home. The Met are sitting pretty in second 6 points behind leaders Leatherhead, but have 5 games in hand, whereas Chatham are languishing in mid table having lost 7 of their 13 games. Met have won all 8 of theirs scoring 26 and conceding just 2. Good luck to all PUPs this week, another winner would be great!
18. Nice work trent. And as I forgot to pick this week i''ve made it hard for myself but i''ll go for Columbus to beat Philadelphiain the MLS which kicks off in one minute.
19. That''s never happened to me before, but it''s for canariesworld
20.
Sheffield, so again not too far
I''m at Sheffield too, what year you in?
21. Leatherhead to beat Walton and Hersham this week in the Ryman Div 1
22. If it''s at Barton Mills CT surely it''ll be at the petrol station? Assuming you know the roundabout, there is a petrol station between the A11 Norwich side and the A11 Cambridge side.
23. This week I think Fleetwood Town will beat Cambridge United. Good luck look like a good set of picks
