1.
good old Iwan :)
The glass is full to the brim for Iwan. Funny how local pundits are always so optimistic!
2. Happy Birthday, Ken. Ken Brown''s team played some of the most attractive attacking football of any Norwich team, in the 1985/86 season, to win promotion back to the top flight. We certainly did it in style that year. Great stuff!
3. I wonder if Spurs would consider swapping Tim for Hoots if we asked them nicely? NO, I thought not!
4. Yep, I would love it if the board appointed him. He can''t possibly be worse than the clown, and their is a fair chance he would be better. Give Hoots his marching orders and bring in Lennon. Simple.
5. Charlton are another club who were well established in the Premiership and have struggled. They must have been out of the top flight for at least eight years.
6. We might - we might not, it''s in the lap of the gods. I give you Leeds, Sheff Utd, Sheff Wed, Portsmouth, Reading, Coventry, Bolton, Ipswich, Blackburn, Wolves and Leicester as examples of fair sized clubs who have found it difficult to get back to the Premiership. Leicester might make that return at the end of this season, of course.
7. Our real problem is our conductor has dropped his baton and the band are all out of tune with each other.
8. Neil Adams deserves a chance. He can''t do any worse than Whotoon.
9. I believe Bruce Rioch and Peter Grant still live in this neck of the woods too.
10. The answer must be yes. I think they have everything crossed that all will turn out ok. They have buried their heads in the sand. They seem to have a lot of faith in this manager unfortunately; therefore we are stuck with him to the bitter end.
11. How many City old boys/managers still live in Norfolk, or have moved back here? At the moment I can think of Iwan Roberts, Robert Fleck, Hucks, Paul McVeigh, Darren Eadie, Ken Brown, Duncan Forbes and Chris Sutton. There must be several more. Can anybody add to this list please? I thought it was a great pity that Gunny moved away as he seemed like a very nice chap.
12. Actually, I think next door''s tortoise would be more capable than Clueless Chrissy. Time for change is overdue.
13. As a temporary measure, put Neil in charge of the first team. He must have more idea than the clown.
14. Our board is totally inept and slow to react to events. The only good decision in the last 18 years or so was the appointment of Lambo. Admittedly that decision goes some way to compensating for all the other lousy decisions.
15.
Hughton actually has an excellent track record as manager in the Championship, so maybe we will hang onto him for next season.
Let''s hope not. He bores me to death now. Get rid!
16. No need to panic?? It will take a dramatic improvement in form to avoid the drop. With our strikers unable to find the net, and Hoots still playing for draws it will take a minor miracle if we are to stay in the Premiership. Well done to the board!!
17. Are you related to Hughton, Lakey? Maybe the penny will drop eventually that we have a manager who is taking us DOWN!!
18. What happened to your thousands of posts, Wiz? Evidently you have a new account, what happened to the old one?
19. I''d buy him a good pair of lifts (those shoes that make the shorter man look taller with cleverly disguised high heels). Alternatively, he could spend the match standing on a box, or a pair of stilts.
20. He got his tactics spot on on Saturday. Let''s hope he does the same on Tuesday and for the rest of the season. Staying up (Fingers crossed).
