  3. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_OvpzForHyUI was always a big fan of one vision by Queen tho
  4. Makiese is a big lad who''s good in the air , I reckon he could be a good target man for City this season
  5. I''ve personally always thought Rob Newman was abysmal , Trevor Benjamin is another great shout but for me the very worst has to be Andy Hughes .
  6. they were in the Champions League not that long ago... I seem to remember a controversial Ryan Giggs Free Kick ... I reckon he looks better than a few of the target men we''ve tried to replace Iwan Roberts with (although this is only a short clip)
  7. "Oh...and we are NOT ''Delia Smith''s Norwich City'' thank you very much! Norwich City on it''s own is just fine![:@]" Here, Here
  8. "Gilles Grimandi, Luis Boa Morte, some Arsenal fans might even throw Anelka into that category too..."well they''d be idiots then
  9. I would recommend adding "make suggestions about investments in the press under the influence of alcohol to keep fans hopes up and to demonstrate ambition" (there does not have to be pending investment to make such a statement)
  10. I''m sorry, the article quotes an official statement saying "negotiations have been terminated with immediate effect" that to me puts across a very different concept to the "friendly arm wrestle" Cullum had spoken about before. How can you criticise Archant when they''ve simply reported a statement handed out to them by the club ? As for your remarks with regard to D&M and Cullum having a proper good laugh at the mayhem that it has caused, that would be mayhem amongst the fans, the people that are Norwich City football club. Your statement about the deal not being off altogether is completley made up and backed with what I assume to be little or no inside knowledge. The deal is over, move on.
  11. I have long been a supporter of Delia Smith and Michael Wynn Jones, I have always felt that they have been good ambassadors for the club with the best intrests at heart but the developments over the last couple of days have been frustrating and have brought to light some of the realities in the more cynical Norwich fan''s opinions. It is not that that they have refused to gladly accept Peter Cullum''s offer , I believe that a healthy degree of cynicism is good for a club where new investors are concerned as you can  never be sure how long they will be comitted to the club and what their true intentions are , I understand that Peter Cullum is a lifelong Norwich fan and a former youth team player but it is not unreasonable to question why he has not invested earlier or why he has chosen to invest now. I am also no accountant and alot of figures that are being tossed around by reporters and posters maybe inaccurate (plain hopeful or plain pessimistic) I could not value Norwich City partly because I have no idea of how much our assets are worth and partly because Norwich city is embedded in my heart (it is priceless) but where I derive my frustration is from the behaviour of the board and the readily apparent spin and nonsense they have been feeding fans. Firstly, the ''bill'' that was posted on the official Norwich city site was highly unprofessional , it was unnecessary and was untypical of a club that have always prided themselves on secrecy  having my club almost prostituted on the internet is immensley dissapointing, if there are potential investors let the details be known to them not the entire world. Secondly, the act completley contradicts the comments that have been made by the board previously , comments about a lack of investors and notably about appealing to investors , if this is the way the board chooses to ''advertise'' the club then why wasn''t this posted when (as we are now) in dire need of investment ? It seems apparent then that the board have not been soughting new investment , they have not been interested . Thirdly and finally, does the comment " a number of potential new investors" not completley contradict the comments made in previous months (I am led to believe within 12 months) of messrs Munby and Doncaster that potential investment had been skant , that "there were not many investors out there" or something to that effect ? Some posters will argue that this was a tactic of secrecy , well the bill posted on the offical site yesterday clearly shows how the club feels about secrecy . The board should not have posted that on the site and they should not have behaved in the way in which they are doing, maybe they felt that Peter Cullum was calling their hand and they wanted to respond but it should have been done behind closed doors, it is truly embarassing. I only hope for the sake of the board that Cullum is not alone with regard to potential investors and this is part of some machiavellian goings on with regard to another (even this again is intenslesy unfair on the supporters) because if not Norwich City FC is going to be a very dysfunctional family club very soon.
