1. Not for me OP. Showed good promise while here but never pushed on. Would rather look for someone still on the up than someone stagnating.
2. That''s fair enough. Just think that if I was a footballer getting toward the end of my career & a club wasn''t playing me regularly & at the same time refused to let me leave after I''d been a mainstay that I''d be pretty cheesed too. I blame Hughton :)
3. I don''t think he owes us anything Morty. Been a terrific servant to the club & everything he''s already achieved here far outweighs his outburst & mini sulk last season, which I think was pretty justified (from his perspective as a professional) given his position at the time.
4. No dilemma for me. If he''s fit & in the right frame of mind he plays. Still our most influential & technically gifted player by a distance.
5. http://norwichcity.myfootballwriter.com/2014/04/07/the-west-brom-debacle-a-brief-meeting-with-delia-michael-and-david-and-the-hughton-die-was-cast/
6. Just out of interest purple, what are the figures if you take away the variables in terms of teams played? Or to put another way if you only count point from teams we have played in all three seasons (this is not a rhetorical being a nob question, I have no idea of the answer and am too lazy to do it myself)
7. Amazing just how many people are glad my team lost today just so they could have a dig at a poster on this message board. You disgrace the club
8. Should we have said the same to Iwan after his first season. Sometimes it takes a good while for players to adjust and he''s not really played an awful lot of football over the course of the season. Needs to bulk up a bit pre season and will be a better player next IMO.
9. I''d say your glass is almost entirely empty if you''re willing to discount nearly half our remaining games. On current form at home at least we are as likely (if not more so) to get points off the big teams as those closer to us. I think overall from our remaining 9 fixtures we are hovering just a shade above 50/50 on relegation or survival on the side of survival
10. This thread just about sums up this message board at the moment. People queuing up desperate to have a pop and get their own view point and/or agenda across on every thread whether it''s relevant to the OP or not. And let''s not foget to take offence for no reason whatsoever while we''re at it. HOW VERY DARE THE OP WANT TO TALK TO PEOPLE WHO WITTNESSED SOMETHING HE DID TO SEE IF THEY HAD THE SAME TAKE ON IT AS HIM. ITS AN OUTRAGE! AND HE HASNT EVEN TOLD US WHAT RUSS''S VIEWPOINT ON DELIAS B PREFERENCE SHARES IS OI OI TELL US THIS NOW, DONT YOU KNOW WHO WE ARE? WE F* CKIN'' RUN THIS BOARD AND IN FUTURE YOU''D DO WELL TO REMEMBER THAT OR WE''LL SPEND OUR WHOLE TIME TROLLING EVERY POST YOU MAKE REFERING BACK TO THIS THREAD OR SOME OTHER IMAGINARY ONE AND START BANGING ON AGAIN ABOUT HOW YOU NEVER ANSWERED OUR POINTLESS AND IRRELIVANT QUESTION AND WERE RUDE TO US AND MADE US CRY UNTIL YOU GIVE UP AND STOP POSTING LIKE MOST OTHER REASONABLE POSTERS HAVE!!!!! And yes I am aware of a little irony occurring in the posting of this off topic post, yawn. My oppolgies to the OP. I wasn''t in the Gunn Club either, but did Russ have anything to say about his lucky underpants and if they have to be traded for primark ones in the event of relegation?
11. No problem with you disagreeing, so no need to appolgise. You''re right about clear cut chances, we didn''t have any one on ones or a missed tap in from a cross for instance. But we did have plenty of half chances, blocked shots in & around the penalty area, headers etc . More than enough to win a game comfortably on a good day ( however infrequent )
12. Funny how people see things differently, far from seeing 25 shots and only 4 on target as "not creating an awful lot". I see it as creating enough to win by 4 or 5 but for poor finishing.
13. I agree that 442 doesn''t suit our first 11, but with the players that are currently available, I think they cope with it better than with 433/4141.
14. That''s it really Herman, we need it to continue into the next one. Hopefully a bit more game time for hooper & RVW will have done them some good partnership wise and a bit of match fitness for pilks, plenty of chances created & a clean sheet. Lots of positives if one cares to look for them. & hopefully Tetty back in contention for the next game
15. Whist I agree that a tactical change is needed if you''re not creating chances, the fact is we created loads today. The finishing may have been poor but that''s not a tactical issue
16. When you''re controlling the game and getting plenty of chances is there a real need for a tactical change which might just disrupt the flow if the game? My opinion is no.
17. If you''ve nothing to say on the thread subject le jug, why bother posting on it? Oh..because there''s nothing negative to say any you''re just a wind up merchant with no real interest in Norwich City FC other than trolling its fans
18. I thought the manager got pretty much everything right today. Team selection, formation, tactics, even the substitutions. We were under a little bit of pressure in the first 10 minutes but other than that I thought we controlled the game well. Frankly if you are moaning about anything other than our finishing after that then you are on a different planet watching a different sport to me.
19. Javier''s Deaf Translator. The FA have no right in making Hodgson the 13th highest paid manager. what has he done to deserve that? If memory serves me that''s just under half of what the previous incumbent was being paid, despite the fact that he has far more experience of international management. Seems like a bargain if you ask me.
20. I''d have happily taken it Saturday let alone the end of the season. Cardiff were waisting time almost from the second the ref started the second half. And I''d bet my last pound that had we have been one up Marshall would''ve booted as far up the field as he could. Since when has time waisting been "gentlemanly conduct"? The goal should''ve stood and it would''ve been just deserts.
21. In for me, I see a team progressively improving that with only a small increase in fortune would now have at least two more wins on the board and be siting comfortably in the table
22. The most obvious conclusion would be that a room booked in the name of our chief scout is for our chief scout. With his job there is no real need for him to live in the area. By far the biggest jump in logic on this thread though is Houston''s assursion that if you have a friend who works in a hotel, you should therefore know when the Dutch football season starts!
23.
To have a 99% success rate he would have had to have made at least 100 predictions. There''s a smell of something in the air...
Oh dear, I think what you can smell is moron
