1. going on city 1sts ''logic'',the last one we had was matias jonsson, although i believe crouch has scored after he had playedfor us. otherwise in answer to the question, i''m pretty sure fer is the first. the only other possible is safri, though while i remember him scoring for morocco in a wc qualifier, i don''t think he ever did at a wc
2. although optimistic, i know, i wouldn''t consider anyone who wouldn''t be able to compete for at least a squad place in the prem in a seasons time.  if you look at players and think ''they could do a job for us in the champ'', then what is the point if we achieve what should be our aim, and achieve promotion.forthis reason, anyone over 27/28  is should be a no go (maybe one or two if they offer an inspirational leader kind of trait ie sidwell (who is almost certainly staying in the prem)  because whilst they improve the team/squad in the short term, we will then have to move them on again shortly after. thereby needing a replacement and affecting squad unity, morale etc etc... whereas if we can find people who grow whilst we are in the championship to become better players now, to breed team spirit for the future. basically to give the club an identity rather than '' buy a player for this season,  to do thisjob - then sell him next to be replaced''.sorry if this is alla bit garbled, but while there maybe  one or two ''exceptional'' frees that we could get over others, i definitely feel this is a route that wouldn''t offer any basis for longevity, and quite frankly with this sojourn from the premier league, the only advantage to be made is that we go back up in a stronger position (and with a better ability to grow) than we had, or could have had, whilst playing premier league football.NB this is not to say this is what will actually happen ;)
3. Not for me, this has got Chris Houghton written all over it ;)
4. thought that as well mustard. always surprised when people used to say that he did well on a budget at everton, when their players were on 70, 80 k. although i''m honestly shocked at how badly he''s done at utd.personally i think he''ll end up at spurs for a probable  year - 18 months failure before he comes down to a level where we could get him.i think like purple that it''ll either be klopp or van gaal as new utd manager. though an change can not  be good for us before saturday
5. Saw all the fixtures in the paper this morning. And figured we definitely need one more win, 2 pts May be enough but I''d be happier with 4. I think if we''d have beaten wba they may have still been in the mix( and us pretty much out of it) but I would expect hunger to overcome whu and stoke at relevant times if needs be. Do hope spurs go unbeaten till the end of the season though
6. Well ''expletive'' me. I''m agreeing with ldc. Apart from the Adams bit, unless he wins 3 of 5 (unlikely I know)
7. Does this moaning work only in our favour if so we should be top of the league surely. If not then its our fault CH was sacked oops;)
8. Just watched the game, glad about the result but it feels horrible willing an alladyce team to win. Kept thinking "I hope Sunderland equalize in a mo". Then having to correct myself
9. Bor bor bor wrote: "reckon they''re only good on the counter attack" should be fine then;)
10. Sneak into the dressing room the week before and shove some bacon on zabaleta''s sleeve
11. Just to confirm how great this man''s opinion is. He''s now come out and said he believes a convicted fraudster should be allowed to a football league club and he wonders what the fl''s reasoning could be behind not allowing the Leeds takeover hmm
12.
*guarantee safety not promotion, apologies.
Already planning for next year video, good lad ;-)
13. Not in busy streets on the back of an elephant you couldn''t
14.
I know Bergkamp is 5hit scared of flying but can anyone remember if he used to play games around Europe for Arsenal etc or did he miss out on the away ties? He certainly had no problem making his way to Norwich from Milan 20 odd years ago
bergkamp mainly used to play the more important away games for them. Remember once there was a tv game on asunday and the commentator said he was leaving by car the next day for somwhere in tbe eastern bloc. I also think tbat his fear arose later in his career possibly whilst with holland.
15. Anyone else seen Fulham (languishing) at the bottom of the table) are trying to get their game versus Liverpool (just beaten arsenal 5-1) postponed because they can''t guarantee enough staff will be on duty, or on time...feel bad for them. Oh btw arsenal are not calling of their smaller game against man u, same night.
16. Nutty do you mean to his contract or his name
17. I think he may be more suited to rangers at the current time
18.
Come on then? What should hoots have done to ensure victory against inferior Liverpool?
quit!
19.
If we are going to replace him, then we seriously need to look at where we went wrong with this appointment. The key in my mind is not replacing Lambert with a manager of the same style and philosophy of the game. If anything, we should have adopted the Swansea method. Not in the way they play, but who they replace their managers with when one leaves. They look for someone with the same qualities and style as the previous (because the board has a philosophy of how the club should go about things and play). That way the players already there suit the style of play and the club continues to move forward with little disruption. What did we do? Choose the complete polar opposite and, thus, our successful style of play and strategy changed completely. This affected several of our best players who found it hard to adapt or perform to their best attributes and has eventually lead to where we are now. Decide first where we want to go and how Norwich should play, then research who fits that philosophy.
^^this^^

21. can''t believe in 3 pages no ones said "remember where we''ve come from", or "just think where we were 4 years ago". today was an embarresment, maybe not to the outside world who see norwich lose 2-0 away to spurs, no, thats an expected results. the manner of the defeat, the way we played the game. we didn''t set out to win, indeed we didn''t even seem set up to draw. it was as though we accepted we were going to lose, and just wanted to keep the score down.the humble cap doffers need to remember its bloomoin spurs, not barcelona ''11, not brazil ''70. this season we''re gonna lose games we should win, but if we play like that. set up like that, we arent going to be winning many we should lose.
22. Pretty sure woods never played competitive international whilst with us. Don''t think Watson did either. Almost certain no one has since either.
