Stronger teams do, Liverpool certainly will so its all relative. I think we need to go strong and only use a few key changes, as we've seen Sarges foot needs a rest but I do actually believe in Idah in these kind of games. I think midfield will stay relatively similar to last time our and likely see Gibson and or Batth start. Strong players, not kids. I like Fisher and Gibbs but unsure they're good enough right now and we have a game to win. I also feel Long will keep his cup place and let's hope he's having one of his better days

I was being slightly facetious but what I do mean is a lot could change yet this season, so him leaving isn't a given. I personally feel its likely he goes in the summer and fair play to him Due to breaking into the England squad and the fact he could possibly double his goal tally yet, we could get 15M plus add ons for him. And with the current state of FFP play in the prem, that'll be a good deal realistically.

So, play a drastically weaker and more disjointed than we did where we almost lost the first tie? With a chance of a lucrative trip to Anfield on the line? Got to be a lot stronger and more cohesive than that to stand a chance. Rovers aren't a pushover at all.

I think its OK to take things gane by game and not get sucked into a vortex of negativity because the future is unsure and things aren't great. Promotion is possibly, unlikely but do you know what would make this season feel a lot better and enjoyable? Winning or at least playing.well. I have to say it feels even better when the days and hours leading up to the game are full of negative know it alls coming on here and positing like we're in the end times. There are a lot of those posters, way more than those enjoying a bit of light ribbing after we win

There is no love in for Wagner. People have peaks and troughs of hope and the manager deserves credit when due. I think sharing a little praise is slightly different to completely making up something that isn't happening so people can beat the club after a win. Nothing I've read for months on here would suggest we are getting promoted, some have a little more hope, it isn't a complete write off. I'd certainly say that even those who have more hope than others are also people who want Wagner out / know he's not good enough.
