You have a strange idea of a football manager's job if you think clubs employ them to "deliver the best possible customer experience". Wagner isn't manager of McDonalds; his job is solely to get results. Typically one follows the other of course, but apparently not always. As evidenced by the fact that we've won 5 out of the last 7, and yet a vocal minority (including yourself) are apparently livid (dare I suggest, even more so than if we were losing).

The suggestion "ultimately the fans don't have any responsibility, aren't accountable" says a lot about where you're coming from. You don't have to be paid by an organisation in order to be accountable for your actions. Ultimately its up to individuals to decide if they want to support their team and help them, or create a nasty atmosphere that saps morale because they have an agenda against the manager. Those fans are responsible for their actions, and they should be held accountable. And frankly, I hope other fans start holding them to account.

Others fans have started to hold them accountable. Our fans en masse are generally fed up of the incessant moaning and negativity which often  crops up when are doing well mote broadly.

Now other teams fans are picking up on it too. Several sports pages where games are reported across the league show that other fans feedback on us is that we boo our manager at times that feels totally counterintuitive.

Put the Donk on from the start and Sarge on the bench. Trick Cardiff into thinking Sarge will come on later and hold him back until 2nd half injury time. Also, rest Barnes as well and bring him on at 60 mins. Simple really.

    Stop being so logical!

His replacement scored a goal in his half an hour on the pitch.

Which is something Onel Hernandez hasn't managed to do in 30 games this season.

Our fans are getting a bit ridiculous.

So is a wingers job to score? Or they're a failure?

I saw a pretty decent assist from Onel or did you miss?

Yes Fassi scored, but Dean Coneys bum-bum has scored better

Don't get all the Onel hate

But what about Daddy Wagner??? #Cry

Heres what I was talking about with the day trippers. They were all supporting him yesterday during boo-gate and now they are happy to ditch him for this new guy.

Its all just a lovely day out to them. Potato wedges and bovril all round.

The ground doesn't sell wedges, but you'd know that if you'd been.

  5. I wonder then... is this a case if all that rather large percentage of fans who weren't renewing didn't renew and were filled up by waiting list places. (And we still had enough to make another waiting list)

Or did those that made a point of saying they wouldn't renew go back on their word?

Why anyone would give up a precious season ticket due to club/performance related issues when the tide turns so quickly is somewhat beyond me.

Agreed - seen it on BBC to check how good it really was and boy was it a screamer. Very, very similar to THAT strike from Safri v Newcastle. Lucky old River End!

Well, I was in Lower Barclay and we possibly got a better view as I saw the flight and the ball movement. Mates in the River End didn't see much of it I don't think!

I think everyone knows deep down that Rowe’s talent has been under-utilised and another team is going to “make him”

We've probably seen his last action as a Norwich player and he’s probably going to be sold under value (or at the very least I don’t have much faith we’ll get good value for him)

I really wish you'd just fall down a hole of some sort. Absolute miserablist.

since 5th November a sustained run of form?

Is 20 points from the last 8 home games since the 5th November a sustained run of home form?

Or is it all simply not good enough.

    Boooooooooo!

As purposely and pointlessly divisive as the idiot boo boys.

    Do better, Nige.

Boo boys =  silly and achieve nothing

    This post = same

Very few fans definitely want Wagner here next season. They might think of reasons why he should be, but that's not the same as full on support and getting behind Wagnerball.

It won't be the first time we've had this situation possibly, but when you have this type of undercurrent it's really difficult to get behind the club and team and you really need that to build and grow.

Come the summer we're going to need a plan or story from Knapper that we can all get behind.

I'd quite welcome a young manager (yes sadly in the vein of McKenna) who favours attacking but possession based football.

I quite like Wagner in many ways but he really isn't the guy who is going to bring us the success and style the fans clearly want.

The fanbase will never be in agreement regardless of which manager we have... There were those who wanted to give Dean Smith more time.
Given the injuries we've had this season, Wagner is doing okay and we are now moving in the right direction .

Unless there is someone better available it makes no sense to change, so lets see where we are in the summer.

It is a success.  Some fans forget that it often takes clubs like ours (as we are now financially) quite some time to readjust after thorough relegations, to get back to dominating.

Few have enjoyed this season overall, but to finish top 6 with all that's gone on would be nothing other than a success

  11. For balance, I just took the time to read various reports on football sites, including BBC etc, from the game last night.

None individually mention Idah being poor

I am aware he missed a few chances but I feel like this is a classic bit of scapegoating

    Why would it be?

It's shortsighted in the extreme to want 20% of the support to remain a-whingeing and a-whining through yet another season. Let them go and wave their torches and make animal noises down Sloughbottom Park.

Then we can do kids for a quid or whatever it takes to get more people in the stadium who actually want to be there.

    OTBC COYY

Can't believe that I actually 100% agree with this. Cringed so many times this last season at numb skull moaners really trying to get people on board with their nonsense booing and moaning (rarely to any avail) and some awful displays of very fragile masculine outbursts of anger at not a lot.

As bone headed as the Snakepit tripe often is, this mentality has bred into the lower Barclay and its been an awful watch.

Bring on the 5 year old with more intelligence.

I live in Sheffield and quite enjoying life. Saw some brilliant short films by young aspiring filmmakers in the morning, then saw Dutch band Personal Trainer in the evening. Lovely.

As you weren't first in the queue for the gig did Chris Wilder jump off stage and tap his watch at you and tell you off for eating a sarnie at the gig? He's a premier league manager FFS! Have some respect
