1.
Looks to have two good feet, a bit of pace and know where the net is, so obviously no chance of him coming to us!
LOL, sadly your probably right, oh well we live in hope
 2.
Today, media reports indicate that Newcastle United are about to be sold to new investors.......the deal regarding Southampton FC is about to be finalised.....and Charlton are also to move on with a consortium buy out and new investment........and Norwich City.......well it just about sums the whole thing up when two clubs with whom we were relegated find investment and we apparently can''t/won''t or have no intention of doing so.
This is because Delia is a stubborn woman who just isn''t prepared to work with anyone else or give up her toy, we are going nowhere fast under these tos*ers
 3.
IBA To be fair if people are that strapped, and I feel for those that are, then they shouldn''t be renewing. Its not like they wouldn''t be able to get a ticket for the odd game when flush ist it? There is no doubt that the circumstances of some, a minority, will have unfortunately changed since they contracted to buy season tickets but for most that will not be the case. it''s those people who p_ss me off because, as I have already said, if they were hovering on the brink of poverty what were they doing committing to a season ticket at NCFC in the first place. IMO most of the "rebaters" on here asked for their 11£ a month back out of some strange idea they were making an important gesture when all they were doing was doing the club and all the fans out of 22£ every time this futile gesture was made. I want this club to get promoted back at the first attempt, in fact, I think it is critically important that we do for several reasons so all the "rebaters" did was reduce significantly the amount of money that would have been available to buy the players that would have helped us towards this vital objective. So, not only will I not respect their decision to take the rebate but I will hold them in contempt as well.
So you think it''s the people who claimed their rebates back that have significantly reduced the amount of money that Gunn will have to bring the players in, well i''ve got a slight issue with that mate, do you not think that Delia MWJ and Foulger are to blame for us hardly having any money this season when THEY let Roeder waste loads of money on crap players last season like Sibierski, Henville, Koroma, also they made the last 2 appointments which turned out to be crap and ended up wasting loads more money paying them off, so is it really the "rebaters" who have significantly reduced the amount of money we have?
 4.

I haven''t posted on here for months but I am compelled to note my disgrace. For the sake of £11 a month between August and February off your direct debit payments we''re £717,603 worse off. I''m disgusted with you. I hope the little point you feel you''ve proved was worth it. I''ve never been so ashamed of fellow "supporters". I feel sick right now. Yes, we can be cynical about the money going straight into the playing budget. Yes we can all feel aggrieved about the situation at the football club. I wish we had a different board/owner in place the same way that I wish we were playing in a different league and I wish that we had Torres up front and Vidic at centre back. We are where we are, and your £11 a month is going to do nothing to help anyone.
I must admit that I agree with the sentiment expressed in this post even if the wording could have been more sensitively chosen. We know the club is strapped for cash and when Foulger made his offer I saw nothing but generosity behind it - no conspiracy, no cunning plan to set fan against fan - but simply a good honest offer. Had the vast majority of fans matched his offer then our beloved club would have had more than one million quid to spend on players with the objective of getting us back into the Championship at the first attempt. Flipping heck, isn''t that what true Norwich City fans want ? Apparently not. The majority of posters on here have slated the offer and therefore also the originator of this thread. I have read lots of nonsense about "what I''m going to do with the £11 per month" from the student for whom this apparently was going to pay for his loan, gas, electricity and food (obviously not an economics or a maths student) to someone who suddenly has a desperate need for a sat nav. There are even posters slagging off SEAT0123 for being insensitive to the poverty of some who simply couldn''t have lived without their rebate. How pathetic. If they were that poor they how could they have afforded season tickets in the first place and what would they have done if we had stayed up ?  For God''s sake people, get a grip, what would you have all done if the unthinkable had happened and our beloved club had avoided the drop ????? Where would that have left you, I wonder, how would you have survived ? How would that student have paid his loan etc and how would that poster manage without the satnav ? You lot make me sick, all you did was make a spiteful gesture instead of taking the offer for what it was : a genuine and sincere attempt to raise substantial funds for the benefit of ........ the fans.
whats your problem, i''ve had my season ticket for years now and i claimed my rebate back for one reason that i''m not paying championship prices for 3rd division football, simple as that mate, no conspiracy, get over yourself!
 5.
Thank god for that... hopefully his Doctor has told him that he is too fat and that he can never play football again? Otherwise Gunn & Co will no doubt have him here out of desperation and he will be heralded by the may thick supporters our club has as the guy who is going to bang in 20+ and lead us to the 3rd Division championship while the applaud like seals for two months before finding out that what a few have been syaing is actually true and that he is utter $hee. hite... [:$]
you really are a sad toss*r, you don''t even go to matches you useless pri*k, sort your life out and get over yourself
 6. Hopefully he''ll be signed up later today or tomorrow at the latest.
 7.
The whole thing has put the fans in a lousy position and will cause even more divisions.  People will now feel guilty if they don''t give the money back (when they have already shelled out for a season ticket and are perfectly entitled to a rebate).  Likewise, those who are giving the money back feel like they are being questioned because they are seen to be backing the board. Its a complete PR disaster and one that could have been avoided.  I think lots of people would have renewed in any case even if the rebate clause had never been mentioned.  Part of me thinks more and more that the board never genuinely contemplated relegation and really didn''t plan ahead.
I definitely won''t be feeling guilty when i claim mine back, i will not be paying 360 odd quid or whatever it is to watch 3rd division football, i''ve said before if the board went out and appointed someone like Mark Robins as our manager then i would of considered giving them the money, shame they didn''t show us a tiny bit of ambition then i think a lot of people would of considered it like me!
 8. Amazing what you can do on a tiny budget a very small squad and when you don''t have complete idiots running your club, they invested the money they got from lafferty on a few players, i tell you they''re a crazy lot up there spending money on team building crazy i say!!!
 9. we also need people like him in the dressing room, which i think is what we lacked last season, leaders telling people how it is, i''m sure if flem and malkey were here last season they would of chinned a few who couldn''t be bothered!!
 10.

I note today we have been hit with not one but two "money doesn''t grow on trees" articles, notably the one from Gunn insinuating we can''t afford Shackell and Lee now we''ve been relegated. Thank god he still at least thinks we are still attractive to many players or i think i would have given up! Firstly I don''t think I have spoken to a single fan who thinks or expects us to sign Shackell now we are in league 1 so why he''s harping on about that I don''t know. Lee however is a different kettle of fish given his public comments. My main point though is we are already seeing a subtle downscaling of expectations. We''ve already heard MWJ saying we will have a budget "appropriate" to League 1. now Gunn today and no doubt this is a pre-cursor to the announcement that if we all claim our rebate we won''t be able to afford anything. Well this summer I don''t want to hear it. i don''t want to hear how we can''t compete with Leeds or MK Dons in the transfer market. I want to hear my club say that with our season ticket sales we should be abel to support a wage bill that gives us an edge over the rest of League 1 and that we will be doing all we can to assemble a quility squad at this level. i don''t want to see the entire squad dismatntled and replaced with kids. i want su to make 2 or 3 decent signings that make a statement of intent, I want us to keep a couple of our higher profile players and mix these guys in with the kids to give  blend of youth and experience. And more than anything else I don''t want any excuses. This is League f**king 1. We ARE a big club at this level. I demand promotion. i expect nothing less than top 6 and I regard it as totally unacceptable if anyone at that club is thinking about anything less!
Top post i agree with all of that, they should do and spend whatever it takes to get us out of this league at the first attempt, anything else is a disgrace!!!
I think we have to accept that we can''t spend "whatever it takes" and we have to accept some players on big wages will move on but I would like to see us at least make an effort to keep a player like Hoolahan who at this level is a matchwinner. I think a front 2 of Cody and Lee would be a real handful and would like to see us push the boat out to get Lee in this summer. Added to that I would like to see us keep the likes of the Doc and Russell and going for, and beating, our competitors in this division to the signature of some players this summer to send out a message. Even if we half our wage bill from last season I bet it will still be one of the largest in league 1. I know Russell had a poor season last year but I think a spine of Doc, Russell and Lee has a bit of steel about it and is something we can build around.
when i say whatever it takes i mean by getting the best league 1 players that we can, i know we dont have a lot but i wont accept them coming out and saying that we can''t compete leeds mk dons and stockport, or similar clubs who have been into administration recently

 12. yes because a good premier league side would definitely be interested in Clingan,
 13.
As far as i''m concerned Bryan Gunn is most certainly not the man for the job at the helm of Norwich City, and despite his legend status within Norwich City, he is without doubt incapable of finally ceasing our demise, that manager''s like Nigel Worthington, Peter Grant and Glenn Roeder, and Bryan Gunn himself (to an extent) have failed to do in the past 5 years. Bryan Gunn had almost half a season, player recruitment privaleges prior to his appointment, 9 loans and a player purchase after his appointment to keep us up, yet he failed to turn our season. In fact neither before his appointment were we ever in the relegation zone this season (although admittedly we were heading that way under Roeder). Bryan Gunn then crumbled under pressure severely, losing ''5'' out of his last ''6'' absolute, history defining, must win games, while falling down to a 3-0 deficit away at the bottom Championship club on the final day. His then managerial record spread out over the course of the season would of relegated us at about 48 points. I will never be willing to neither accept, nor appreciate a standard of this level to persist at our once proud club, and i''m certainly concerned that the majority of city fans have, and will accept it, then ensuring years of mediocrity at a very low level to continue at Norwich. I''m distraught upon this appointment, and will NOT be backing the manager at all this season purely on the basis that persisting with this horrifying appointment, in my mind, is vastly contributing to our demise. I have also not felt a vibe of confidence in interviews over the course of rule under the current reigime wth Gunn, and have seen nothing on the pitch that insists otherwise, and therefore do not believe or have the confidence in them being able to make the turn in fortunes that our club so desperately needs, and frankly almost find it laughable when others claim otherwise. There has never been a basis with evidence to support these opinions, other than dreams and hope (what our club has fed on for the past few years) to imply that they are indeed right and true. I concede that results have the potential to prove otherwise in my opinion, and if we are automatically promoted from League One next season i will be willing to back him. However i doubt this possibilty to such an extent that i will not be willing to show any impression of support to a worryingly damaging reigime to my beloved club. I''d also like to make clear that i will always support Norwch City Football Club to the bitter end, and will passionately oppose any individual that questions that. However it is for the love of my club, and the preservation of it''s legacy that i will then be passionately opposing the current reigime. I hope other indviduals can at least see why i have this point of view, and am willing to be convinced otherwise. However i consider physical evidence of potential to currently be non-existant. Thank you and...   On The Ball City!   Please show your support of the "Gunn Out" thread below...
Back him and the team now you tool as there is nothing we can do about it, he wasn''t my ideal choice but you need to accept it and move on.
 14. Why bother keep saying they will cancal their tickets when they can''t actually cancel them now! if you''ve paid by direct debit you had 14 days to cancel! the "loyal supporters" who keep saying it are just talking crap or as i suspect haven''t even got season tickets anyway
 15.
Why do you think top two finish? Based on the final day performance I would say we will struggle next season, probably fight for play offs. Just because we have 20,000+ plus supporters every week doesn''t give us a god given right to success - you sound like a Newcastle supporter! Don''t get me wrong though, I''m not happy with the state of the club, I will keep supporting them, I just think top two finish will be very difficult
because we won''t have the same bunch of spineless players
 16.

Enjoy your Saturday''s listening to Radio Norfolk... I''m sure they''ll be someone else happy to snap up your pair of Barclay tickets...
Don''t bank on that now mug!
You just don''t get it do you? I am sick of reading all this absolute nonsense on this board - dominated as it is by a few no-brains. Look up the word "support" in the dictionary. Try to understand that those of us who are true supporters really don''t care that a couple of dozen of you won''t go to any games! So what''s new? Even if we are in the Prem in 2 years you will find a reason to snipe and be negative. Most of you talk nonsense and are ill-informed. You make up stuff and then get all high and mighty about it - like you lot would have a clue how to do better. There are maybe 50 or 60 contributors to this board - what makes you think you are representative of 25,000 of us? You''re not and you know nothing. Whats more, if you don''t go to games your opinion is invalid. Just like the plonkers on Radio Norfolk who phone up to say how rubbish we were even though they haven''t been to Carrow Road since the 1970''s. Personally, I will support the Gunn/Crook/Butterworth ticket. I have no idea if they will do well, but given where we are they deserve a chance. I am gutted about relegation but then I actually go to the games. You see, I support Norwich City FC - unlike you lot.
good post mate, i enjoyed the last line!!!
 17.
Not confirming the validity of this - but seeing as Gannon is now out of work, I would be shocked if Gunn is given the job without us even interviewing other managers. Then again, I was driving with a dropped jaw when I heard the news of his initial appointment on Radio Norfolk. Please, for once, make the right decision NCFC board!
and you think they actually interviewed anyone else before they gave it to gunn in january, they are a complete joke and we are a complete laughing stock
 18.

....Wild card - Steve Coppell. Don''t laugh. He has already suggested that he wants out at Reading. He is a unusual football manager in that he doesn''t seem to be an egotist. He is clearly not interested in the limelight and pressure of the Premier League (or the top of the Champ). If he quits Reading next week, we should be on the phone.
I don''t think he''d touch the job with a bargepole, but, as I suggested previously, he would be the perfect bloke to advise the board. There''s something about him that''s a bit "Norwich". I can really imagine him enjoying the role of moulding NCFC into a great club once again. A long shot I know. But it must be worth a phone call .....
If he was given this job i think we''d all be in fantasy land, never going to happen though, your right what you say though he would make us great again
 19.
I think he''d do very well in League One. Was starting to play well before the bursa problem kicked in.
i''d agree with that, also you wonder why the club would pay for him to have his op done if they hadn''t any intention of keeping him, maybe they thought get it done and lose him for this season but get him back fit for the new one!!!
 20. BREAKING NEWS FROM THE BOARD MEETING: all board members have now decided where they are all going for their holidays in the summer and will now meet in another 3 weeks when they get back to swap holiday snaps
 21.
Robins will want his own coaching staff, possibly bring his assistant or a coach from Rotherham with him if he works well with them. If gunn goes then we need to find the money to pay off Crook and Butts, find compensation to get Robins and whoever he wants bought in.. can we afford to do this? what are the financial implications of it? we need promotion at the first time of asking so whoever the manager is, Gunn, Robins or Gannon they MUST Acheive this.. the board have to be prepared to put up or shut up now. jas :)
i thought Crook and Butterworth were all on the same contract as gunn until the end of season, don''t think we''ll have to pay them off, besides we''re always "skint" but we have no problem paying Roeder and Worthy off!!!
 22.

ct your full off shit
I bet you anything something about doncaster/munby being sacked happens tomorrow.. its all part of the deal my friend If it doesnt then my source is a complete lier.....
I think even the stupidest Norwich fan could predict this may happen tomorrow. I don''t believe you know anything CT.
In all fairness, he has got a point. If you know so much, at least tell us something that we couldn''t already guess ourselves ... Go on, throw a new name into the fray or something. Then if whatever you say happens, you will be credited as deserved.
we all would like it to be true but we all know that it''s just your typical bollo*ks that a few kids type on here!!!
 23. this is obviously who i want to be our manager and i honestly think he''d be great for us but sadly our board always fail to deliver who we''d like, grant, roeder and even gunn had never even crossed my mind on the last 3 occasions when they were bringing in a new manager, expect the unexpected i guess (or gunn)
 24.
We don''t want anyone appointed... just people cleared out for now. You can''t rebuild until the rubble has been cleared away.
i think we do need him to be appointed very soon so he can get on with the job of getting us back into the championship at the first attempt! contracts are up and players need to be cleared out and new players moved in!
 25. If you show that you are moving in the right direction and appoint Mark Robins as our manager then you can keep my 20% from my season ticket
