It will not be the L''Pool job but between now and the summer there will be other Prem jobs coming up  There a several in the firing line already  Did PL get a call saying hang on mate keep reading the magazines we want you from London ?

I am more than concerned that PL has bigger fish to fry than Burnley just nowAt least 2 more Prem managers under scrutiny with Woy gone.  He may think that he will get a bigger club out of the merry go round that will undoubtedly occur

What ever happened to one game at a time.  Its not FM 2010Speculation is for PC gamesI think that each game is influenced by the last and confidence levels  A good little winning streak can have a big impact  confidence is high and opposition not keen to play you.  The other way round and it becomes difficult to pick up any pointsIt just doesnt matter other than its fun ( I think)

I certainly wouldn''t expect them to.....Fortunate then, that we didn''t go into administration last season - as the majority shareholders (and NCFC) would have then stood to lose more than just their investment and return of loans....it''s certainly a helluva risk owning a football club.    I was just slightly curious and really do wonder what the lack of progress or stumbling block is/was, with these/those, ''interested parties''....? Any theories? How truly and actually really determined are our club hierarchy, actively seeking further investment to our club? Wrong place wrong time for the guyWe will never know if he could have made it at NorwichDebuts in new leagues are notoriously difficult.  His performance on the day was not representative of pre season.The turmoil in the club would have a major impact on someone who didnt not have a bunch of big time experience.  His main supporters were gone after a short time he was in England and he was faced with a manager with no information on him and had conceded 7 against his side. Less than  auspicious start.Chance gone

[/quote]I am really surprised that in the whole thread only one person has mentioned the team.There is another thread extolling the virtues of the away and the lack of goals conceded.  That comes at a price.  The side is playing 10 yds deeper to achieve a compact difficult to beat unit.  The most noticeable place you see the difference in is the ST''s.  Holt gets singled out because of his prevoius successes and the reason he looks knackered near the end of the games is that he is working opposition defences far harder than he has had to do in the past.We are having a good run, its always hard in your early days in a higher division so I am currently happy.If I have a fear it is that Lambert is the son of MON and we will always be a hard workman like side ( much as Vanilla ( and I think Leicester were) and LPool will be !!!) and I would like to see more expression in the side once initial objectives ( staying in the division) have been met 

Whilst out of context to debate of whether we are similar to the bindippers and the role of board etc the most confusing point is actually in the title.  The major issue is the deadline for the repayment of the loan to RBS.  This loan was enetended under conditions so RBS to a charge on the clubAs in any situation if a loan that cannot be repaid then those that made the loan can pursue any way to recover the money including selling the club.  It is much in the same way that when you buy a house with a mortgage the lender in nearly every case can take the house back if you default on payments.  You may of course offer alternatives but it is up to them to protect their money. 

This is sadIt reinforces a provincial view of football.It sounds at though settling for second ( or possibly 3rd ) best becaus ethey would be very difficult to compete with.Sure its tough to make things happen in the prem but things dont last for ever.  It would be far better to earn the right and be promoted to play the likes of the big guns in the prem.It may take a season or 2 to establish the club as recognised club in the prem but to have the likes of Drogba, Essien, Van der Vart, Fabregas and Rooney here at CR would be great.We must want to pit our wits ( and Im sure Lambert does) against the giants of the game.  Its better than joining a 2nd rate european type competition.If you take it to the ultimate conclusion it promotes the idea that we want to pla and be the best in the region only.No thanks I look forward to a rocking Carrow Road and beating a Chelski or Manure in a mid week ficture
