I think he read this post and decided he had to do something against Wigan - and then did it!
I accept total responsibility for todays win and will be starting a lap of honour immediately [:D]
lol......you da man![:D]
 2.

what a wonderful result! we seem to have a winning mentallity at the moment, lets hope we get off the bus running at Colchester and never look back. Well done Bryan, and well done lads! OTBC
Aren''t we at home???
its a figure of speech mate
 3. booing doesn''t help anyone, he wasn''t our worst player last season by a long stretch so not sure where that stems from
 4. lol, I waited until my son was six............I remember my dad telling me what a nightmare I was at four!! he said if I was''t wanting sweets, crisps or drinks I was wanting a wee!!
 5. quote user="After you''ve heard the chimes please stay seated"]What is the legal age for a tattoo now ? What tattoo parlour would you most recomened? id like Norwich city football club        1902-Forever          on upper arm would it hurt badly?   I had one of mine done at Styx, nice people....but wasn''t too impressed to be honest......I have since been to Rude Boys, much better artists and a much better outcome. I''m pretty sure the legal age is 18 ( I may be wrong) and the upper arm does not really hurt, it just feels like an annoying scratching![:)]

 7. lol, In all honesty, women know more about football than you give them credit for. My mom was a season ticket holder for years and can teach me a thing or two!
 8. I think he''ll score two against Wigan today.........   in all honesty, I think Roeder treated him appallingly..........he is going to be an important player for us this season
 9. no City related tattoos, just in the process of having a Polynesian half sleeve done, I also have a Chicago Bears logo on my other arm. Some people like them, some people don''t, but as long as you like them and it expresses who you are and you are comfortable with them.............who cares!
 10. "Delia, really it was nothing. To be honest he looked pretty dire at the manchester XI game. me and my dad both thought he looked like a competition winner   Jim''ll Fix It?
 11. its put into perspective when you look at the bonus'' and wages of some of the Premier Leagues players!! its sickening to think a football team needs this to stay afloat when Man City are banding millions of pounds more on players......money rules the roost now, sad times
 12. I wasn''t keen on the idea of Doc being made the captain but after speaking to one of the players today I feel a lot better. The players seem to really like the appointment and unlike Fotheringham  Doc likes to mix with ALL of the lads in and out of football time. There seems to be a lot of respect for Gary and he takes the time to listen to any problems they might have......thats more than good enough for me.
 13.

I don''t personally rate Doc,  1- he gets the wrong side of defenders a lot of the time, 2 - flaps his arms all over the attacking player 3 - and hisdistribution is shocking 4 - but I think he''ll add important experience
1 - rarely does he get the wrong side of defenders. His reading of the game is good, he usually comes to meet the ball. We will agree to disagree, I think he gets caught out quite a lot 2 - didn''t realise football was a non-contact sport. It makes it a nice day out for strikers if the defenders don''t bother to put them under any physical pressure. You don''t think Nelson, Stefanovic, Askou, Ferdinand, Terry, Nesta etc etc are going to grab shirts and tussle a bit? They all do it, Doherty is no different at all. He was guilty of giving away penalties and dangerous free kicks due to have his arms all round the opposition.......but this is a flaw in the ever evolving game, referees seem to penalise the defenders more in these situations now, maybe Doc just needs to improve here  3 - how often does he give the ball away when he''s not under pressure? Sure it''s lovely if a defender can ping a dozen perfect 50 yard diagonal balls every game but very few can do it and it''s hardly essential. Just keeping possession of the ball is essential. The simple ball. Just basic football, that works. I''m not talking about 50yard passes here, I''m talking about possession being given away cheaply 4 - true
14. my reasoning is that Nelson has played in the lower leagues and is aware of the rough and tumble that goes on......I see him as someone we need in the first eleven. I''d like to have a younger centre back with him (Askou) rather than pairing him with a some times hit or miss Doc......just my two cents though
 15.
Too expensive, too crocked, still unproven as a City player. With Askou being offered a contract it looks like Dejan is off.  Sad, but he is a big wage an unreliable fitness wise.  Think you are also being unfair on the Doc who has had to play with different centre backs last season and had to cover the failing Otesemobor all season. Add to that the fact that the defence got NO cover from the midfield last season, and I think the Doc-bashing is becoming a mite unrealistic.
show me one post from above that bashes Doc?? I said I''d rather have Nelson as captain but thats my opinion. I don''t personally rate Doc, he gets the wrong side of defenders a lot of the time, flaps his arms all over the attacking player and hisdistribution is shocking but I think he''ll add important experience and depth to the back line at this level. Maybe you''re putting the cat among the pigeons
 16. tough one really, Dejan looked our best defender last preseason but injuries have really put his career on the back burner. I love the capture of Nelson, IMO I would have selected him as a fresh team captain ahead of Doc........if Askou was to sign with us I''d like to see Nelson and Askou at the back with Doc on the bench...........won''t happen though!
 17.
Must say he looked very good and if signed could turn out to be our best defender!
I think Nelson was our best defensive aquistion and seeing as Docherty is team captain it looks as though Askou could be a backup
 18. Dion Dublin=Legend     lol no! was is Mokemi o something similar?
 19. Maric looks a busy kind of striker, be interesting to see what happens......I can remember a player last year who looked lively up front but othing happened
 20.

0-0 at half-time - we''ve hit the post, they''ve performed an air-kick and that''s pretty much it....
let me guess who performed that........Docherty or Cureton is my guess!!
If you can''t distinguish between "we" and "they", of course.
sorry master, I didn''t pick up on that

 22. I have to agree Juan, I really don''t see what all the fuss is about. It seems some fans look at how much we spend on a player rather than if he''s any good!! I''m pretty glad we didn''t pursuit him.
 23.
I think it just shows that after last season''s absolute shower, we are all desperate to hear of any shoots of recovery, any small reason to feel positive going into the new season. I personally just thought, that ''Chris lakey providing live updates on Twitter'' might include a bit more analysis, but maybe that''s just me. Must be half time by now surely???
it surely deserves more than one comment about hitting the post in forty five minutes!
 24. I think the atmosphere will be good to start with, if we continue well it will be fine.........but, the moment things start going downhill it will get nasty
