It''s BS, because a player Bellamy''s age can only go on 3 month loans! -
Will we break the £1m barrier?
Stephen Frys Evil Twin replied to Paradox's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
Hmm, I think Primus will be pushing the £1m barrier, as Huckerby did after his tie-ins were activated! I think we need Primus and an attack-minded right-winger then I will be extremely optimistic about our chances of survival. Any views? -

Bananaman, I''m glad I''m not the only one to notice the facts that you state. -

Oh dear oh dear 1st Wizard! I have been sitting in the background reading the posts on this MB and have found myself becoming increasingly peeved by your constant and dedicated pessimism! I don''t think you''d recognise a good signing if it came up and danced the funky chicken 2 metres in front of you!!! Thomas Helveg would be an absolutely superb signing, and if we did seal his signature it would bear no resemblance at all to the Wolves approach! They signed Paul Ince who is closer to his grave than to being 30 years old! We have signed Charlton who is experienced in the Premiership and has had rave reviews from Bolton fans over the last few seasons, and I hope we are now about to sign Helveg who has played in the top leagues for the whole of his career, not to mention being an ever-present at international level, even at the last tournament! Now if you think this is would be a bad signing you seriously need to re-focus on who we are and what we want to achieve this coming season. From what we save on not having to pay a fee for his services we will be able to afford his wages. Which won''t be as high as they have been at his previous clubs because I''m sure he realises the perspective between where he has been (AC/Inter Milan) and where he may be heading (Norwich). This signing could be the one that keeps us up, if it''s true, and we should embrace the wealth of experience that he would bring to the side, for at least this one crucial season. I thankyou. -
Rumour...

Funny really. He''s only valued at £500k! Talk about overkill. -

Yeah, it''s often very quiet at this time of day!!! So I thought I''d sample some Pink''Un action ;-) I''m just desperate for us to sign someone, for the sole reason that it gives us something to talk about for 1-2 days, which gets us 1-2 days closer to the start of the season! I don''t think I''ve looked forward to anything as much as I am for seeing the Yellow and Green in their rightful place... In the Premier League! -
Rumour...

Indeed, I think it''s BS, and the guy went off in a sulk after I questioned the validity of his claim. So I''m pretty sure it''s just a rumour. -
According to someone with a tedious link to the club (You know the ones). We are signing Robert Huth of Chelsea for £2m. Whether to believe it or not is one thing, but let''s imagine it''s true. What are your views on the player?
-
Yeah I had heard that MO''N is a fan of Hendo. Not sure if it''s true or not, but I think it''s best we hold onto him.
-
Sorry to get your hopes up, I''m only asking if you think there''ll be one?!
-
I don''t think it''s the same knee injury, fortunately. Hopefully we''ll be able to welcome him in the return fixture later in the season.

Aren''t Charlton the Addicks?

NW bids £750k for James Scowcroft
Stephen Frys Evil Twin replied to ZLF's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
I think you''ll find it''s a rumour, which is in The Sun, so I don''t think we''ve actually made a bid for him. Thank god, cos he is a complete donkey. -
Yeah, definitely one to watch.

Fantasy Transfer
Stephen Frys Evil Twin replied to Being Jan Kristiansen...'s topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
You must be joking! Jan Koller is the biggest donkey ever to set foot onto the European stage! Besides, why blow the whole of the budget on one player. We could get Crouch (who IMO is better than Koller) and 2 decent defenders out of that £5million, and have a large amount of change left over. I accept that this is "fantasy", but at least get value for money!!! -
A song for David Bentley
Stephen Frys Evil Twin replied to Laurie Sheffield's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
The Lord, your attempt is very good! But i think the third line needs a bit of work, I will try and rally the barclay boys to sing something along those lines. Any ideas for the third line? Please...? :) -
If not Crouchy, then Sutton next season (should we reach the promised land!)

The team to win the title
Stephen Frys Evil Twin replied to stan the man's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
Easton?! Sell him, he adds nothing to the team! Mulryne is probably the 4th player on the teamsheet if i was the boss! My dream team would be: Green Drury Mackay Fleming Edworthy Brennan Mulryne Holt McVeigh Huckerby McKenzie Subs: Crichton, Shackell, Francis, Henderson, Svensson (perhaps Jarvis) I wouldn''t play Svensson as he encourages the team to just lump it forward, and he isn''t superb in the air anyway. If we leave him out it encourages the team to keep the ball on the ground and play the passing, flowing, attacking football that we appear to have mastered this season. With good pace and movement upfront, Mulryne will be able to let his creative play thrive. Holt will be there for that extra stability and solidity in the midfield. The back four is tried and tested this season, only conceding 21 goals this season, so its a case of "if it''s not broke, don''t fix it".
