Re: Transfer Embargo For Norwich?
JG27 replied to can u sit down please's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
Oh dear. Bishops stortford happens to be in HERTFORDSHIRE. Maybe your ''assertions are debunked'' making you the imbecile. Fool -
I don''t think anything has been posted about this yet, but my ''sauce'' says in the region of £300k. A bit excessive for a Brighton player, don''t you think??? http://www.theargus.co.uk/sport/albion/8180200.Crofts_completes_Norwich_move/

Listening/Watching the Match on Sunday
JG27 replied to Rocky Rocastle's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
I also live in Cambridge, and I can easily pick up a good signal for Radio Norfolk, on 873AM/855Am. Sometimes, it is also easy to listen to Radio Suffolk... -
Michael Spillane has agreed a new contract with City. I hope he comes back refreshed from Luton and will be given his chance to play a role in next season. Agree? Disagree? Your Views?

Until the end of the season, we can not lose any of the remaining games. We must get 2 more points than Forest, and I can only see them having one ''tough'' game (away at Sheff Utd). If they lose that and we beat Watford, then we will be back outside the relegation zone. It is NOT over. The pressure is now on Forest (and Barnsley) as they have got out of it, but it''s just as hard to stay there. As we play 2 of our remaining games after Forest do (Ipswich on Sunday and Reading on a Monday), we will know what we will have to do in order to survive. In my opinion, we must be out of the relgation zone going into the last day, putting it into our own hands, as I reckon that all of the 3 mentioned teams will win their final game. Keep the faith, OTBC!

Yep, but I want my own...

Does anybody have any radio clips of past commentaries/goals from the Prem or the Championship winning season? I need to be cheered up! Thanks

We are not relegated yet! What is with all the negative posts, it is so depressing to read!!! We have not been relegated, the situation is bad, I admit, but there is absolutely no reason why we should be jumping to conclusions yet. There are 13 games to go, we still have 2 games at HOME to the teams around us (Plymouth and Watford - win them, and I believe we''re about a third of the way there). 13 games, 6 wins? It is very much possible. BE HAPPY!!! DON''T WORRY ABOUT IT YET! SLAUGHTER ME ON MAY 3RD IF WE GO DOWN, BUT REMEMBER WE ARE NOT DOOMED YET OTBC

Although a big fan of him, he needs to go. His time has come. You can''t miss chances like this at this level, especially in games against higher opposition where you don''t have many chances. Sorry Jamie, your time is up for me.

WHERE IS HE BRYAN???
-
Has it gone through yet? If so, I am embarassed. The way we treated him was horrendous. Hope he does well at Sheff Utd now, and he proves a point. A great shame.

Whats happened with davies from stoke??
JG27 replied to cambscanary's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
Davies would be a quality signing, he was Southampton''s player of the year last year, obviously they didn''t have much to cheer about, but still nothing to sneeze at. -
I think its a surprise because I would have thought that because he''s looking for a job, because he has a proven record of getting out of the division and because he has previously been at the club before and has a bit of background knowledge. Just thought the club may have wanted to talk to him, that''s all

One Norwich fan just texted in to ask Aidy Boothroyd if he was coming for the Norwich job, as he is commentating at the PNE-Burnley match. He replied that if you were thinking of having a bet, ''you''d be better off saving your money''. He then stated that when a club dismisses someone, they have a good idea of who they want in, and he hadn''t been in contact with anyone. This is a surprise, if true...

In 2004-05, you needed 51 to survive. 05-06, 50 was enough. 06-07, 49 stayed up, but last year, Leicester got 52 and still went down. It will be close. It must be just me, but I can''t see us going down. Don''t know why. I still think we have some good players at the club, just a cr*p manager and a board that is unwilling to do anything to help the mess we are in. That said, I don''t think we will lose many games at home. We have a fairly easy run-in of home games from now until the end (with the exception of Cardiff and Reading). Our away form will be our downfall though.

not down yet (emphasis on ''yet'') -
Who is going to want little, slow, can''t-hit-a-barn-door-from-a-yard-out Jamie Cureton?
-
Are there any buyers out there interested in buying a Championship club? Great fan support, sell-out every week, manager with good links to other clubs, decent sized stadium, well-respected throughout the league... ...BUT NO AMBITION GET IT SORTED. BOARD OUT!
-
Can we really take you seriously, Mr. Anchor?
-
Err?....Come On Swansea Anyone?
JG27 replied to First Wizard's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
Come on Wiz. Yes, we all want the board out, but you can never go against your own club and wish them to lose a game, surely? It would put us in deeper trouble and then noone will want to invest, right?! -
As a STH in the Jarrold Stand, I get really frustrated by the lack of noise, especially towards the N&P end. The best we can ever seem to do is getting 4-year-olds to sing ''Norwich'', ''Norwich'' to the same tune as ''Yellarmy'', ''Yellarmy''. I think the club should do more to get people pumped up before the match, get us singing instead of dancing to that pathetic tune before the game starts. Now I await the comments from others, ''Well YOU should start a song then''!
