City fans want a solid defence but also want to keep Russell Martin , they want a potent strikeforce but want to hold onto Jerome , to build this side the deadwood has to go and we have plenty of that . Time to remove all who have had more than one chance in the Prem and failed miserably , they need replacing now while we have the parachute money to do it . ------------- Thats not the aim next season though is it. The aim next season is to build a team capable of getting up again. You can say Jerome isn''t a very good striker, but at championship level he is. He scored (about) 17 goals including the first at Wembley - in the championship he''s a beast, saying that we will need another 20+ goals a season striker to compete with him. Once we go up, that is when you build a team capable of succeeding in the PL because that costs money - and thats what we should''ve done this season.
That will never happen though Miggins , go up with 6 or 7 of these Championship players in the team and you cannot upgrade them all so you end up giving them a go because they got us up . Jerome can be replaced by better even at Championship level as can Martin and a few others . These players are stale and fast approaching the end of their careers , time to ship them out.

3. They have been playing like that for weeks not just tonight , anybody who saw them against Leicester Saturday should have been in no doubt about tonights outcome .
4. "A lot has happened in the last week. At this moment I''m just trying to come to terms with what''s happened on the pitch and where we find ourselves. "I want to sit down with the owners (Delia Smith and Michael Wynn Jones) and have a good chat with them. "There''s a lot of soul searching and discussions to be had to decide which way the club is going to move forwards." Well i bet after that chat he will feel like moving on .
5. Yes lets get shot of Russell Martin , Jerome and the rest of the crap before worrying about Wolfswinkle .

Would this be the same Gunn who took us down to L1, put an Australian midget in goal against Colchester and when we lost 7 -1 went on National TV and said he weren''t sue why we had lost CO YOU ARE A FOOL
Whats Alex Neil done ? apart from gee up Neil Adams squad for the run in last year , and the best squad in that league... Since then he has been an abysmal failure buying countless players and then never even using them preferring instead to stick with largely Adams team . Neil is the biggest reason we will be getting relegated , put an Allardyce or any competent manager in charge and we survive this season .Somebody posted above about wait untill he gets the players he wants , how many failures has he signed already ? and now we are back in the Chumps he wont be getting anymore expensive signing will he . Sit back and wait for the second rate jocks to roll up this summer .Anybody thinking Neil is this great manager in the making really is a fool , third rate player and third rate manager .
7.
I just thought it was an interesting prospect - no ulterior motive intended and it wasn''t meant to be negative or derisory.Wouldn''t swap AN for NA in a million years.
Even though after all this time here Neil still plays almost all of Adams team , makes you wonder who is the better .
8. Well i suppose Neil is slightly better than Gunn and Adams , only slightly though , would be no great loss if he went in truth as its his poor mangement that is the biggest reason we are going down . Maybe he will be better when hes 55.
9. What on earth makes you think players like Ruddy and Howson would be off if Neil left , i would hazzard a guess most of our players would welcome some management and coaching a little above the levels they are getting at the moment .
10. If only Delia and her whole family would fuck off too then maybe this club could move forwards for once .
11.
Do you have another hobby at all, other than just following me around on here?
Following you around lmao , how the hell can anybody avoid you , it does seem that you have no other life at all than posting on the Pink Un . Well i suppose it makes you feel big zzzzzzzzz
12.
He''ll do a good job for us in the Championship IMO, as he did last time.
With Neil Adams squad that he has been unable to improve in his time here and is still playing the majority of them .
13. I would like to see him gone , been abysmal all season long and i have never known another manager to buy so many players and then not use them . Out of his depth we need a manager who has a little idea about what hes doing , Neil is not that man .
14. Sunderland show passion and fight and have a good manager , Norwich have been waving the white flag for months and Neils football is hardly better than Hughtons was , the sack was good enough for one it should be for the other .Let Neil get back to the part time football in the Scottish leagues .
15. The trouble is he prefers these players to the ones he signed so what good will a clear out do .
16. Yes no help needed from the ref , Neils terrible team selections and tactics is all that was needed . Cowardly performance in a must win match .
17.
As I''ve said before, I think we''ll go down, so the players I think will leave as a result of that are as follows: Whittaker, Lafferty, Klose, Naismith, Bassong, Ollson, Redmond, Mulumbu - I think all these players will have left the club by 1st September 2016. I think we''ll hold on to Tettey, Brady, Howson, Ruddy, Martin etc. Let''s hope we get the overhaul started early. The sooner we can assemble as largely new squad this summer, the better.
Do we really want a large overhaul by a manager whose transfer dealings so far verge on pathetic ? No doubt we will sign plenty from Scotland , already been linked with a striker from Hibs and Jamie Forrester from Celtic . Never known a manager to make so many signings and then fail to even play them , big question marks over Neil for me , under any other club owners he would of been sent packing back to the Scottish lower leagues by now .
18. Fortunately their time is fast running out , it will be no bad thing for this football club .
19. Played well and if we had hit those levels all season we would be ok now , still so weak up front nobody looks like scoring . Most likely we now need 9 from the last 3 to have a chance.
20. Soft , even Villa beat us comfortably , if a team is desperate for 3 points you would want to be playing Norwich because we end bad runs and make ordinary sides look like Barcelona .
21.
Probably not as bad for us as for Newcastle and Sunlun, we are used to it. Seems we have found our niche in life. Every time I think we are about to move up to the next level as a club, expand the stadium and so forth we manage to screw it up.
Yes all our own doing and the shame is so many very ordinary sides surviving to get the big money , while yet again under these owners we return to the Championship in double quick time . Just shows what a superb manager Lambert was , it takes something special to keep Norwich up in the top flight and Hughton ,Adams and now Neil dont come even close .
22. Experience counts , put Big Sam in charge of us and we would more than likely have stayed up , Alex Neils inexperience has certainly contributed to our relegation . Last time we waited too long made the change and made a joke of an appointment this time we have supported a manager who has looked out of his depth since well before Christmas . We just never get things right .
23. Would rather be in Newcastle''s position than City''s , 1 point behind but a more than good chance of 3 at home to Palace and a certain 3 away to Villa and still a final game against what could be a very deflated Spurs side .
24. Its about being a realist or living in some make believe fantasy world , anybody with two eyes can see we are not good enough for this league never have been under the Smiths leadership and never will be .
25.
After defeats against Palace and Sunderland which totally killed any momentum we had, not sure why people suddenly think we''re about to get a result at Arsenal, home against United, Watford and Everton. Not happening.
Exactly this , if you cannot beat or draw against some of the worst sides the Premiership has seen how on earth are we supposed to get results against Arsenal, Man U or Everton  ? we have not got a hope in hell . May beat Watford if their minds are on the cup but thats not a given either .
