  1. Just wondered whether anyone else got a laugh from the Docs outfit during the training clips shown during the Mooney interview on the official site? I wonder if he lost a bet or something. Image here for those without access:http://img16.imageshack.us/img16/4349/docq.png
  2. A lot of people around me complained about this and I don''t think they are always justified. In most of the cases there was a united player very close to ours and if our player is beyond theirs then it becomes even more risky despite the look of space this gives. Also it is worth pointing out that just because someone is in space does not mean they are the right ball. Giving the team some time to set can be very important.
  3. From the distance to the bandstand it looks as if you guys were on the kiddies pitch. The distance from the halfwayline to the goal is severely reduced on this. Confirm/deny?
  4. IMO the decision to let him go is the right one. For all of you saying that seeing him on the team sheet would put fear into opposition I would think the opposite is true. Huckerby playing basically means the opposition have an extra man in midfield and their full back can double up on ours whenever he feels like it. For all his attacking strength, Hucks is a liability defensively and severely limits the options you have for team selection e.g. not playing two wingers because it would leave us too exposed - when do you ever see this in other teams?. Up to this season I would say that the attacking benefits you got from Hucks far outweighed the problems above but I just don''t think this is the case anymore.
