Billy, I''m gonna go ahead and tell you where I am on this particular thread. You''ve got your questions all wrong. You''re throwing abuse at others whilst not exactly covering yourself in glory. I''m not gonna be investing today and for those reasons, I''m out. -
Alan Gow not in Rangers squad
NorwichsNewFinest replied to ncfclad's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
It''s called freedom of speech. Everyone in a free society is entitled to it. It won''t make everyone happy. However, I agree this was a OTT & duly offer apologies. Just bored of reading the same thing over & over & over & over & over............. -

Merely pointing out something everyone already knows. Appreciate the sentiment though. FYI, if you think that this is some sort of ''keyboard warrior'' then you clearly haven''t heard much about some of the keyboard thugs on these boards! Completely agree with you on the last line. I don''t need to name name''s, they''ll become apparent! -
Hi all, only posted once before, just thought id let you all know what i have heard regarding Alan Gow,spoke to a good freind who works with alan gows brother in the Whitecrook area of glasgow. According to him he came for talks, was very impressed with the set up,went away and he and his agent heard nothing since, also had talks with Burnley and thought training facilities were very poor. He now takes it as a dont call us we will call you moment. Also the general feeling up there is he is a good player who has never been given a fair chance. Excellent forum by the way.
Er, afraid this isn''t news. Even Neil Doncaster told us this a few weeks back. Sorry to pi$$ on your parade. -
Walking through a Mall in Detroit & stopped by a passer-by (American chap) who clocked the shirt & then preceded to tell me why we should''ve never sold Sutton all those years ago! Was dumbstruck to say the least but me & the then Mrs had a few pints with him shortly after. Am I the only one who feels a tingling sense of pride when you see our Yellow shirt in foreign climbs?

That should be ''whispers''. Excuse the rushed shambolic effort at typing! -
Football Grounds & Fans
NorwichsNewFinest replied to Pi$$ed As A Mattress's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
Worsts? Hillsborough without a shadow of a doubt. Any ground that can''t supply cold drinks, programmes & leg room to away fans is a poor poor effort. How that place held FA Cup Semi finals is beyond me. Didn''t seem that bad when John Byrne cheated us out of an FA Cup Final place. Always enjoyed the banter with Southampton fans for some reason. Best? Obviously no NCFC trip as yet, but the new Wembley is truely something to behold. Two of my mates are Binners season ticket holders and become remarkably unbearable on derby day so for that reason, I''m out. -

I''m hearing vicious wispers that Sepp Blatter has stuck his oar in & proclaimed "Lappinitup is a modern day slave to the pink ''un messageboard" -

if i had been there i''d of told him not to return to the property under ANY circumstances, and given him a pen and peice of paper to write and hand sign a letter of apology.. if he handt of done it id of made a complaint.. if he had of done it id of ripped it up in his face, told him to sod off, and still made a complaint.
If I ever get the chance, I''m going to do this... brilliant!
lol... I actually got the idear from listening to Radio 5 once.. they had an interview with Peter Beardsley i think it was.. he was telling a story of how he was walking back to his car after a game with Everton and a litte scouser walked up to him and said "can i have your autograph" Peter duly signed the peice of paper only for the lad to rip it up and say "My dad says ur Crap!" and run away... Beardo said he found it funny at the time... jas :)
My personal favourite was Dennis Pennis (aka Paul Kaye) approaching Jim Carrey shouting "Jim, Jim, Jim, Autograph??" When Mr Carrey stopped, Paul Kaye signs a piece of paper & hands to Jim saying "Treasure it son!" Love it.

“We have a sophisticated database of more than 29m addresses across the UK so we can see at the touch of a button whether properties are unlicensed.
B***ocks! I have a TV liscence, full and in date, registered to my address and they still knocked on the door... when my GF presented them with the Liscence they were adament it was not valid.. it turns out they had cocked up in the office by "pressing the wrong button" the smug Twat didnt apologise to my girlfriend for the error caused by the organisation, nor did he apologise for pushing against the door atfer knocking on it whilst my Gf was opening it and holding my little girl (then only 6 months old) in her arms... if i had been there i''d of told him not to return to the property under ANY circumstances, and given him a pen and peice of paper to write and hand sign a letter of apology.. if he handt of done it id of made a complaint.. if he had of done it id of ripped it up in his face, told him to sod off, and still made a complaint. jas :)
Yet you seem surprised by the behaviour of Goverment jobsworths trying to convince themselves of their own self-importance Jas? I for one would expect nothing less.

I''m still wondering what your credentials are in the world of football jordi? -
what if i did find him on football manager?
As a schoolkid, I expect nothing less. Your expertise is not as great as you think. -

What is it as a schoolboy Jordi do you exactly have that counts as ''football experience''? Just intrigued. -

Another ill-educated stab in the dark. Once again I shall just wait until the official website has something on it. Still, I''m off out on the tear now so I shall look forward to finding out tomorrow morning what has transpired. -
Strikers???
NorwichsNewFinest replied to Hucks Right Leg, Eadies Left & Iwans Head's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
At least Roeder has been trying to sign strikers, we missed out on Thompson sadly and we had a bid turned down for Carroll from Newcastle... I''m starting to believe what someone posted yesterday, that is he planning his finances around Ameobi at a later date? Interesting... also I''m hoping we get Lupoli on loan at the least, would be outstanding at his level!
Unless I''m mistaken & Stockport have updated their website in the seconds since I just had a look, he hasn''t signed yet has he? Until he puts to pen to paper with them, we''re still in with a shout provided the board make an acceptable bid. -
u all believe in the hype get excited about these transfers that may or may not happen then start to cry when they dont the club love getting supporters hopes up then let u down but most of u believe what they say. then we struggle sack the manager get a new one and o my god come january season tickets renewels r due then u 20000 poeple sign up and everything ok . tough if u dont like the way i write .
Christ, I am so bored of you already it is stupid. Please go away.

Funny sort of Slavery
NorwichsNewFinest replied to The Voice of the Thorpe Area's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
This much is true Shack, although I''d have thought the correct way would be TW@. Reason being that the @ symbol when spoken is pronounced ''at'' which would render the spelling TWATT which isn''t the correct spelling no? God, I am so so so so bored. Please just sign someone City. Please. -
Waiting for the new one to arrive in the post. If you don''t suscribe, get on the ol'' interweb & get on the FourFourTwo website. 3 issues for a £1. It''s the same for Top Gear magazine. Bit of a fan of a bargain!

The man is a joke. He is to football what Prince Phillip is to the United Kingdom. Everytime he opens his mouth I am cringing as the words fall out...........
