Ok, it''s not City related but I saw this today on the BBC gossip page & it made me chuckle. Admire the guy''s principle''s having lost it Sky before.................... We all know about famous modern managers refusing to speak to television stations because of perceived wrongs in their coverage - but what about Stockport boss Jim Gannon? He, reportedly, is not cooperating with Sky before the club''s play-off League Two play-off final against Rochdale because of a nine-month customer relations dispute over his defective Sky box. (Daily Mail) Brilliant. Love it.

How many people are gonna fall for this hook line and sinker?????????????? I work with canarypirate & his source was a good amount of comedy. Methinks he''s suceeded & I doth my cap to him. But I have not heard from any sources that we are in fact signing Righters, Hoolahan, Gorkiss & many millions more. Actually I made that up but we''ll just have to see won''t we. Well thought out & well written post. I''m just wondering when his funeral is? Oh, hang on wait........... Hes not dead, he''s just not been given another multiple thousand pound per week contract & can now ply his trade at another football club. I liked Darren Huckerby as much as the next fan, he''s not been given a new contract & that is it whether you like it or you don''t. These things happen. Besides, isn''t there a whole summer before the new season starts (actually the old season is barely 2 days old!!!!). Bit too early for lynch-type screamings from incoherent madmen............  

Hucks is no longer a City player though. Like it or lump it, that is what it boils down to. Part of me wanted him to stay, part of me didn''t. Will we be better off without Hucks? To be quite honest, it''s two days since the previous season finished so I wouldn''t like to voice any opinion until I see what sort of squad Glenn builds himself & besides, I''m gonna enjoy my summer now. If anything, I was more annoyed we had Velasco on our books for 5/6 months or so & I can''t recall seeing him play for us. Now that''s a waste of cash.
