  1. I.m rather worried about Millwall,s win tonight,I was hoping for a Leeds win or a draw. The task has become slightly harder after tonight. We needed some wind to be taken out of Millwall,s sails and Leeds couldn,t do it.
  2. Well done nice piece of work.On the basis of this table I want Leeds to beat Millwall tonight. This would maintain the 12pt buffer, reduce our absolute points total required down from 17 to 16 and seriously undermine Millwall,s promo challenge. Mind you a draw wouldn,t be bad either.
  3. What ? the whole club ?,does it have a "Buy It Now" price !
  4. Go back to 1995,if Chase had given the cash for Windass,we would have kept hold of one of the best managers of a generation and of course what a great player Dean Windass would have been for City !
  5. Southampton are now the best team in the division and could quite possibily make the top six.Absolute nailed-on for promotion next season if they fail this time.
  6. What was the crowd today ? it,s being published everywhere as 23,103,must be a mistake.
  7. Yes but there is some concern over recent poor performances and Millwall was a semi-predictable defeat and likewise Southampton today. With some tough away games to come it doesn,t feel so cut and dried.I Still think Norwich will get the 23 points needed to get over the line.
  8. I don`t really care who goes up with us IF we got promoted.I,m just hoping there is no triumphalist City Hall do.End of the day it was poor management that got us down.
  9. Thats a pain in the arse result, the only result that truly mattered tonight didn,t go our way.
  10. Does this mean we will lose 14-1 when we play Preston next,I,m worried.
  11. To me it feels like 2 point lost.I have this nasty gut feeling we won,t catch the top two and will lose to Southampton in the play-offs.Failing to go up with 90 points. Glass half empty or what !
  12. Can we move on?.Worthington was an average manager who got lucky.Grant was piss,Roeder was crap and Gunn was clueless. No great analysis needed,if the broad appoint a succession of poor managers the result will be league one !
  13. Yes I remember that,I was at Plough Lane the fateful evening in Dec 87.
  14. Yes but you have to admit Nelson is a lower league trundler who would get roasted against good opponents.
  15. Interesting.a settled side has not been a common feature over the years here has it ?.A prime example of this is how Maradonna constant tinkered with the Argentine side during world cup qualifcation. The Argies only just scrapped through to South Africa despite all their wealth of talent.Brian Hamilton was the biggset tinkerer of all,god he was a crap manager.
  16. Could be player of the year! he,s 100% nailed on for it.If that idiot Roeder had signed him last season we wouldn,t be in league one now.FACT.
  17. It is a great feeling seeing Norwich at Wembley,I saw them in the 73,75 and 85 league cup finals !
  18. First we had the so called professional foul, now we have the "professional booking".
  19. I was there to,right behind the goal in direct eyeline of that cracker of a free kick.great moment.Apparently Martin O,neill had been practising free kicks with the outside of his foot in training that week and failing miserably, until that great strike in the actual game.
  20. Andy Townsend always sounds like a south London wide boy,not a natural broadcaster.Generally ITV is shite, they make a pigs ear of covering the news, any major sporting event and have an overall tacky Redtop -Sun reader style. I rarely watch ITV.
