1. Was the NHS ever real? I thought it was just a myth like Bigfoot
2.
Managers just like players can often outstay their effectiveness at a club in the way that Wenger is and Worthy did. On Talk Sport they were asking who could replace Wenger if he went? David Moyes would do a great job there IMO.
Wonder if Lambert will get linked with yet another club?... [|-)]
3. "The guy who sat next to me, not part of Team FM, clearly doesn’t watch Smallville otherwise he would be able to take much needed advice from the sponsors of said programme."I have no idea who sponsors Smallville but I''m guessing he stunk?...
4.
@CanaryBird I think its painfully obvious who we would all pick as the manager we want out of the two you have said..... We can all be proud of norwich''s ''performance'' yesterday but it will be ''results'' that count at the end of the day
No denying that but games like this are practically a case of just ticking them off as defeats as we go along and then hoping to pick up points against the sides in and around us. I was fully expecting to see us take a battering on Saturday, but the fact that we finished the game thinking we could have easily have taken something from the game can only be a positive thing and breed confidence to team that they can hold their own against the best teams even away from home.
5. I know it''s still very early but already this game to me looks like a 6 pointer as West Brom are sure to be fighting relegation this season with the squad they have. Hopefully they wont be upping their game in time for their visit to Carrow Road.
6. I almost feel sorry for the Arsenal fans but they deserve it after their team of "invincibles" once went a whole season unbeaten, it''s karma catching them up.
7.
Dont worry Hooleyfan, you''ll soon be back there. Norwich''s problem is they have a;ready shown they nor there supporters understand Premiership football, its not one league up from the championship, its a different ball gama altogether. Secondly you have an inexperienced and nieve manager, and his errors cost you games against MK Dons (ohh it doesnt matter i hear you cry, well can you see any of the top teams loosing like that, winning mentality its called) and being very lucky against stoke last week. and lastly - we all know you are in love with delia (was she sober yesterday) but wheres all the money going ?? When you lot were in the 2nd division you had a premiership ground, so why are they not spending money on players ? Delia (are you sober) is doing a "Chase" on you lot and youre too blind to see it - my bet is she and her lot have already calculated the balloon payment will be more than staying in the premiership. Work it out numb-skulls - Does being in the premiership mean you lot get extra income ? are you attendances bigger? is it more expensive to get in ? Think about it - They are not buying premiership quality players, they buy on the cheap, they will be relegated as its good business for the board - its not rocket science
Probably the most laughable post I have read on this forum for quite some time. I love it when some billy big bollocks decides to come on our forum and attempt to educate us on something they clearly know nothing about.Back on topic and I agree with the OP, Chelsea FC lost it''s soul the second they allowed a Russian crook to take over. Stamford bridge used to be a place of great character and once upon a time Chelsea had a very passionate and vocal support of grass root fans, many of them don''t go to games anymore or even follow the club because they have been priced out and overtaken by the prawn sandwhich brigade and gloryhunting armchair fans who you can spot all over the world wearing the Chelsea brand shirt because of it''s recent success. Makes me proud to be a yellow when I compare the two respective clubs.
8. I thought Holt looked really poor against Wigan last week but put in a good shift today against Stoke, a game we really needed him to be on form and he was. Don''t be surprised to see Lambert rotate his strikers around far more this season than he has previously, certain games suit different players much better so I don''t see Holt as a guaranteed starter for every game like what some people believe.
9. We were very unlucky today no doubt about it, Stoke were easily second best up until we were forced to play with 10 men thanks to a weak ref decision.
10. It seems1 binner has his head screwed on:"Hate to say it but if the scum were in our position with a home game coming up they''d pack the ground and create a din to try and help get a result. We''ll have about 18,000 on Saturday and half the crowd will be arguing with the other half. This is why people who say going down to League One would do us good are talking rubbish, we''d sink without trace in front of crowds of about 10,000. "
11. Bless em, after the final ball was kicked last season they thought their nightmare was over.... [:)]
12. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA [:D]Top 3 East Anglia clubsNorwichPoshScum
13. I do think our squad is crying out for a little bit of Premiership experience even if it''s only a squad player as opposed to a regular starter, wages would be a stumbling block with this one I suspect.
14. A mere 18,500 bothered to turn up at Poorman RD last night, 6000 odd less than our average attendance in division 3, poor support warrants poor performances in my opinion. Don''t think they will go down this season though, but can easily see it happening within the next 3-4 years.
15. I was friends with Bally at school so it''s good to hear that he''s doing well for himself. I was pretty gutted when we let him go, I always believed he had the potential to make it big, biased perhaps but I knew a few promising academy players when I was younger and none of them looked anywhere near as good as Bally did.
16.

we should be winning, we desperately need an injection of pace and composure! Bennet for Surman maybe?? Jackson for Morrison??
Felt Surman and Morison both had solid first halves. Hoolahan has been a little sloppy at times but can''t see any need for changes. Moses needs dealing with, and di Santo''s movement is causing all kinds of issues.
Agree with this, Mosses has been Wigans biggest threat going forward, but so far we''ve more than held our own. Thought Holt has looked very nervous throughout but he is normally a slow starter to a season so it may be a few more games before we see Holt make more of an impact. I''ll go 2-1 Norwich, Bennet to score the winner after coming on from the bench.
17. Bennet for me, although I''m happy with all of Lamberts signings, Bennet is the one that really interests me because he''s an exciting player to watch and has the potential to go far in this game.
18. I remember seeing a Liverpool fan in the N&P lower just behind the goal going crazy as Liverpool scored their second, I was watching the highlights and could see him jumping up and down waving his Liverpool scarf amongst a bunch of bemused Norwich fans who didn''t seem bothered enough to do anything about it, as he had been allowed to celebrate both goals.
19.

Haye is only marginally better the one A Harrison. None of the current crop of heavyweights would last more than a round or two with some of the greats of a bygone era of only a very few years ago.
You obviously havn''t watched much boxing!   Undisputed Cruiserweight and only found one better in the heavies - Doesn''t compare to Audley who loses against any half decent fighter.   Its tough in the heavies when you are only 15st but fair play he had a go when he could have just sat at Cruiser and as the poster said above, he knows how to sell a fight, he doesn''t talk rubbish cos he''s an idiot, he does it because it can bring in extra people when there''s a bit of needle.   He''s a credit to boxing when entertainment has been a bit light on the ground apart from the light middles.   Its a shame but as he''s a Cruiser fighting at heavy its made him cautious so as not to get caught flush, but you would always wonder what would happen if he really went after Wlad and threw a few more.
Agree with all of that, people who hate on Haye for trash talking in the build of fights don''t understand boxing. Haye made this an even bigger fight than it would have been, call it bad sportsmanship if you want but that''s the nature of boxing, it''s not like any other sport because your smashing peoples face in for a living. Lets not forget the psychological aspect of Haye taunts on Wlad either, when your fighting a much bigger guy than you the last thing you want to come across as is intimidated by Wlads appearance, so hence the trash talking from Haye.
20. On paper Wladimir Klitschko has a very impressive record but he and his brother have been dominating a very weak heavyweight division for some time now. Looking at his record of wins you can''t really pick out one big fight as the majority of his opponents have been out of shape weak heavyweights. It''s the same for Haye, he has yet to beat a good Heavyweight but his track record is more impressive to me as he is a natural cruiser weight who went onto win a Heavyweight title after dominating the cruiser weight division. Even if Haye did go onto unify the Heavyweight division he would still never be considered as one of the great Heavyweights because of the lack of big name fighters out there, not his fault but that''s the reality.
21. I''m backing Haye all the way, Wladimir has never fought anyone with Hayes speed and power combination in his career. Haye should be mobile enough to avoid Wladimir''s jab and throw punches in bunches when he gets an opportunity. It''s no secret that Wlad has a glass chin, he''s hit the ground 11 times in his career and if he does so tonight then Haye wont allow him to recover so I can only see this fight going one way.Even though I''m backing the Brit I have to say that Wlad has conducted himself as a true Champ throughout the build up of this fight. Considering English isn''t his first language it''s remarkable how brilliant Wladimirs humour has been. Looking forward to the fight.
22.

Where can these blueprints be viewed then?
Stadium overview http://img803.imageshack.us/img803/3169/unledlh.jpg   Hotel expansion with 8,800 seater single tier (and helipad?) http://img98.imageshack.us/img98/9650/unled2mr.jpg   View from ''snake-pit'' http://img580.imageshack.us/img580/8531/unled3m.jpg   I''ll try and get my contact to pass me the exact seating capacity details.
Someone must have been felling very bored to invent those blueprints, looks awful.
23.
Missed it sadly, but shame Norwich never seem to compete. Is it independent to the actual club or is it our responsibility?
I think it''s the players responsibility to get a team together, the club just help promote tickets sales as I remember the last time we entered the central masters the club were given an additional 100 tickets to sell which was advertised on their website.
24. That''s good news then, would love to see Norwich compete in next years masters, just need to get a team together, a few players who spring to mind are Huckerby, Eadie, Sutton, Mcveigh, Fleming and Gunn. All seem to be in good shape for their age unlike a lot of the ex-pros who regularly enter the masters.
25. Did anyone else watch Hucks playing for Leeds in the Yorkshire Masters earlier today on sky sports? I thought he was the best player by a long way, won the golden boot and player of the tournament along the way to helping Leeds win the final against Huddersfield. It was a tad soul destroying to actually want to see Leeds United win a game of football but at least they were in yellow. Shame we rarely enter the masters with Hucks in such fine shape, would surely give us half a chance?
