1.
Oh dear Mello, I thought Paul Moy was the only idiot who thinks there is a correlation between ruining the country and ruining a football club........ There, changed it.......Now you can just STFU......
Now, that is amusing Mello.....drawing from your "old self". Let''s have more please.
 2.
You mean like Dorrans playing on the left wing? 😁
Or Declan Rudd becoming the new Ge Gea. To be fair. he is on his way to Manchester......just stopping off at Preston for a tune up. [:D]
 3.

Who''s going from this forum who''ve not been to one of these events before? There''s never been a better opportunity to ask those burning questions that are often asked on here, to people who know the answers.[B]
Do they know the answers from their own minds, or have they been pre-programmed by Delia and Wynnie to give the answers that suit Delia and Wynnie? The RM contract fiasco and the signing of yet another midfielder all points to yet more lack of common sense which can only come from Delia and Wynnie direct.
Vince, if you feel that way, why not demonstrate the courage to go there and stand up in front of everyone and put your point of view forth. Then you are in a better position to judge for yourself firsthand what you feel about the response you are given. Or. of course, you can continue to throw darts from the cheap seats.....
 4.
Makes you wonder why Peter The Deleter was on here at 10pm at night as i thought the moderators were only around if the button was pressed. Sort of puts that theory to bed. [:D]
Grossweiner was on the EU thread around the same time sounding like he had all the authority of SDP.  [;)]
 5.
Diane is underplaying this by calling the news merely "exciting". Trump-style hyperbole is genuinely in order. I can reveal that Tangible and myself are doing a seminar on "Football accounts made incomprehensible", with a special section on "Fiduciary duties for rookie directors" and a Q&A on "Where''s all the money gone that we never had?''.
Purple, I do wish you would refrain from seeking every unsolicited opportunity to inject Trump''s name into threads such as this one. There is a thread for Trump in the Non-Football section. [;)]
 6.

In all fairness to Rudd, stats like that can be misleading - particularly in the PL where you could be playing top sides/strikers. That said, I''m not sure at 26 that he quite has what we need of our first choice no1, but think he could do a decent job for PNE; we should certainly wish him well as a Norfolk lad who''s been with us for years.
The stats are misleading. He did ok behind a weak defence that plainly lacked any balls - and when you''re a young goalkeeper in the PL, that is the worst possible situation to come in and do well. In fact he did pretty well on many levels, with some superb saves. Could he be blamed for some of the goals?  One, definitely I can think of where he ran out too far, but the others?  My main gripe about the situation is that although the club were prepared t throw him in the deep end in the PL, he has not been given a good chance at championship level, so despite all the know all "he''s league 1" or he''s "lower championship" comments, the truth is we don''t really know. And those that commented on his season last year seem to forget he was out for a good part of that injured.  Good luck to him. It could have been for us imo and I can''t help but think he was not given the best chance to succeed here.
Yet another example of what I don''t like about your manner of posting, Lakey. Posters who you don''t agree with you sweep into a "know all" category and, yet, even by your own measure of saying "the truth is we don''t really know", you feel compelled to re-state your thought that he was not given the the best chance to succeed here. Those that made that decision do not only base their determination by what goes on during a match day but also everything that occurs the rest of the time in training etc. Also, your previously stated thought of, "That represents strange handling of a promising player, " was by a manager who you sang the highest praises for. Those posters that disagree with you on this gave sounder basis for their thoughts than you do for yours so why can''t you sometimes respect that''s the case and just let it go rather than continuously feeling the need to retort again and again as if somehow YOUR opinion will prevail in the end. It won''t.
 7. Put in a good shift every time he was on the pitch. Could hit the ball like a rocket. RIP Matt.
 8. I remember we were hanging the sheets up outside for drying so it must have been a Tuesday.
 9.
I tried that but it didn''t allow me to paste the picture in the message. Is there a way of doing that?
You do realize that your attempted input is the domain of Purple Canary. Expect a post from him shortly suggesting that your posting of Swiss bank account numbers should be moved to the non-football section. [:D]
 10.

If Ruddy or McGovern had let those two free kicks in, people woud be demanding they be dropped. Both free kicks were good, but for Joe Hart not to be able to move quickly enough to at least get near them looks pretty poor.
Some people, eh? If Rudd had even been in the net "some people" would have been suggesting he has the potential of David de Gea.
Or possibly, if Rudd had been in the net, being an excellent shot stopper, would have saved them.  Then perhaps people might talk about him having top goalie potential.  He''s still our player, still a great shot stopper, still young enough and may still have a great future.
Yes, but he wasn''t, he didn''t and they''re not.
 11.

Always a good''un our Jamie ... the evergreen. Glad he scored in Thailand.
It would seem many old boys have scored in Thailand. [8-|]
I''m not sure "many" have scored. That would have required the ability to enter the field of play.

 13.
Poet, philosopher, monk. Oh, & full time reluctant amateur builder specialising in underground drainage & swearing.
Well then, Ron, it''s back to the EU thread for you as the T junction is in need of attention.
 14.
It needs to be sorted, it''s definitely unfair to keep the current employees in the dark.....The new man Mr Webber was quick to wield the axe on the end of the contract 7.....and just as quick to appoint ''his 2'' from Wolves.....If what Mr Irvine said is factually correct, I do find it a bit ''shabby'' and quite unprofessional.....Folk''s future is at stake and they need to be informed......Oh, and I don''t give a mange addled monkey''s butt if anyone thinks I''m beating the club with a stick.....
No, you don''t......and you are!
 15. Always the potential to deviously swap players by switching the shirt without using one of our substitutions. If we could get two more sets of twins like this we could overrun the league without being on steroids.
 16.
Chris is just getting the fans used to the scoreline.
I suspect he''s more than likely getting them used to the halfway line, as in, "Don''t venture over there!"
 17. Any early bets on how long Chris Hughton will last next season?
 18.

I just can''t take his name seriously. I just wish he''s got a brother called Phil or Rodger...... I''m a child, I know......
They had the whole lot nicked out of Bethel Street Police Station back in the day. When asked if he was close to finding a culprits PC Til1010 said he had nothing to go on....
We had to use the toilets at May & Baker Social Club when Norwich Police FC played there on a Thursday afternoon but there was never any toilet paper as the resident bog cleaner was too busy calling bingo every time the phantom bog roll thief struck. Poor Mrs Nutty was having to stand guard at the toilet doors every night frisking people as they left in a effort to solve the mystery that remains to this day. [:D][;)]
If the case is still on file I think it likely the culprit is a flat chested woman.
