He did ok behind a weak defence that plainly lacked any balls - and when you''re a young goalkeeper in the PL, that is the worst possible situation to come in and do well. And those that commented on his season last year seem to forget he was out for a good part of that injured.  Good luck to him. Those that made that decision do not only base their determination by what goes on during a match day but also everything that occurs the rest of the time in training etc. Also, your previously stated thought of, "That represents strange handling of a promising player, " was by a manager who you sang the highest praises for. Those posters that disagree with you on this gave sounder basis for their thoughts than you do for yours so why can''t you sometimes respect that''s the case and just let it go rather than continuously feeling the need to retort again and again as if somehow YOUR opinion will prevail in the end. It won''t.
