2.
Tricky week, but I’m going for a home win for MAN U v Derby in the cup. For the match bet I am going to let my heart rule my head and go for a 1-0 win for City. Two reasons, I think we’re owed a bit of luck after almost beating Arsenal in the league cup and Chelsea have been a bit unreliable away from home, so fingers crossed! Good luck with the picks!
Hansterbuuble, FYI, this match is being played this afternoon so is ineligible.
 3.
Three cup games that might be useful for Yankee.Israel: Maccabi Tel Aviv (top tier) to beat Bnei HaGolan (4th tier). Odds getting towards 1/20.France: Guingamp (top tier) to beat Niort (2nd tier). Odds around 8/13.France: Nantes (top tier) to win at Senlis (5th tier). Odds around 1/10.---For the NCFC bet, Trybull as an anytime goalscorer, at 15/2.
Thanks for those Purple, although I will probably be avoiding those that have really short odds. Don''t forget to post your own selection...I''ve been waiting on it. Also, remember, you will have a tough time overhauling Cosmic Twin for the outright lead if she keeps picking winners with better odds than you choose. [:D]
 4. Thanks Nutty for your usual kind words, although you were more than generous in not mentioning it''s been several years since I''ve had a win. Well, normally there''s a tendency for many of us to avoid the cup games because of uncertainty as to the player strength that different teams will adopt which increases the chance of upsets. However, rather than avoid it I think I will embrace it this week by sending Nutty an extra tenner so that we have two banks of six:1 ) the "official" list which will be made up of non-cup games2 ) a second list made up of only cup gamesI realize this adds a degree of difficulty to our chances by separating them this way because it''s often tough enough for our selectors to hone in on the best six out of all Pups selections. Doing it in this manner means I have to end up with two lots of six when many of you may choose to avoid the cup. However, I''ll take what I get from you and make up the balance if I need to. Happy New Year to all of you wishing you health and happiness. As far as our team is concerned, remember, with a club like Norwich City, to the extent that some of you are disheartened, the "good" times will always return. Nutty, I will have the selections back to you by 10 p.m your time on Friday. Please advise if there is a problem with that. I will also send you a tenner during the next day or two.
 5.

Did you enjoy the win yesterday Vince? (By that I mean City''s).
No, because the Suffolk Socialists will take it as vindication that everything is dory hunky when we all know they have an agenda to downsize the club massively. What is the point of Pritchard if he is going to be sold to the EPL at the first available opportunity?
Well, Vince, if you were the majority owner and one of the minor directors asked you that question what kind of an answer do you think you would give?
 6.
Liverpool to beat Swansea
....oops....Ajax Amsterdam to beat Willem ll
 7.
Just to top up his tan you know. And which alt right group do you belong to redneck? I had the same thoughts about Saddam, Bin Laden, Gaddafi and the rest of the despots of the world. Oh and by the way, coal aint coming back.
Don''t try the smartass approach.....you know what you stated. You''re a disgrace to this forum to utter such a thing, particularly so given the elderly status you appear to have reached in life.
 8.
The most dangerous man in the world without  boubt. Hope he takes a ride in an open topped car soon. I am getting stricken in years now but would hobble along in any protest march that is arranged to keep him out of this country. May not do any good, but at least I will try.
What a sad old individual you must be.....to reach advanced years and come out with such a sick statement.

 10. Well done Midlands. You''re as classy as the people that helped you.

There may be a few who like a "winner" - if that is all he has going for him - but on the whole, he is not someone who commands respect around the world.
Lakey, my point was not whether you were correct or incorrect but rather that it is not good form for anyone when speaking or writing to give the impression they are speaking for everyone. Just trying to support you in becoming even better than you already are.

 14.
Well done Diane for yet another great turn out and i will leave you to do the full report as i have had a long day but will just say Christ Mick Dennis loves the sound of his own voice.
Perhaps he''s City 1st in another role.
 15.

Now you lovely old Pickers , keep those selections coming in , Its only Thurs and we have all tomorrow to go . So lets get the lovely old Wass on his toes , I will admit I intend to buy the lovely old Wass a pint or two tomorrow night and I know Wass that wheelbarrow is going to look tempting .[:D] arrdee.
[B][B] - Friday [+o(][H] - Saturday Is Lappin up to pushing me home in the wheelbarrow ?
Well Wass its no good worrying about if Lapp is up to it now , it was you two who cozied up together , I blame you , you picked the smallest and oldest old boy in the place to cozy up to when there was the strong Johnny Tillitson available .[:D]....arrdee.
Happy Days[H]http://services.pinkun.com/forums/pinkun-forums/cs/forums/1355930/ShowPost.aspx
Well, I would have been reluctant to correct the wonderful Ardee ( had I seen this at the time ) but I would have surely pointed out to him that to expect the said individual to convey any amount of weight in a wheelbarrow while burdened with his swaying hips was nigh on impossible.
