Personally I would take him, even at his age he''s better than Doc''s and Shack''s, although his legs might not be upto it. I would give him a player / coach role as suggested and give him a year to bulk the squad as long as the wages are right. -

Should have signed him when he was on trial all them years ago!!!!! -
No suprise - we were told by Brady to pay £1 million and that she would not change her mind. We kept offering 250k less so they kept him, only have ourselves to blame.
Still p**sed off about that, not like we''d gone bankrupt by spending that & instead we spent 500k on Pattison!!!

Obviously they weren''t the best and obviously Shacks is dodgy, however they were a good pairing and Shacks played some of his best stuff with Taylor along side. Went to Blackpool away and the 2of them were class, don''t think they lost a header all nite and Blackpool were hoofing into the box non stop!!!!

Another one?
Not bothered that we didn''t sign him. He maybe young and have potenital but only scored 12 goals this season. We need players that can come in a do the job straight away. I''m sure with the likes of Ebanks Blake he will do well for Wolves so good luck to him but not the kind of player we need at the moment
Sorry have to disagree, think he''s a young, big, strong striker who despite only scoring 12 goals is a real talent. Could have done a job for us and with the right coaching probably would have been one to sell on in the future. Oh well another potential signing gone, how long before Taylor, Hoolihan, Gorkiss etc all go elsewhere? -
Glenn could rebuild us for a relatively small amount of money, time for the board to cough some up!!!! Surely some of these would come to us? LB Stewart - Free Bertrand - Loan RB Connolly - Free Carr - Free CB Ramage - Free Tiny - £750k Cork - Loan LW Hoolahan - ??? Halmosi - ??? RW Commons - Free CM Howard - ??? (Probably wants Premier football and too expensive, but would be excellent for us!!!) CF Evans - Loan Eastwood - £1m+ Phillips - Free (wants a 2 year deal?) Earnshaw - £1.5 Paterson - £1m Rigters - Loan Vokes - £1m (looks a real prospect) Beckford - ??? Maynard - ??? Riordan - £500k
Don''t know if anyone else has posted this but how about giving the boy a chance, I know Glenn rates him more than Spillane, Jarvis etc. Is he worth a shot in the team or is it 2early, should we wait until were safe (hopefully soon!!!) or should start bringing him in next year? Discuss? I posted this B4 and now we''re safe and he scored a screamer last nite, worth a shout for Sun?, at least the bench?

Just a few points slighty off topic i know but, Can you remember a few months back we were linked with him and now its Liverpool!!!!! Personally i think he''s a very good goalkeeper and Newcastle have been goin great since he came into the side for Given. Does anyone else think he could be worth a shout for England amongst all the problems we have with keepers and now he''s playin regular football?

Fair play to Glenn he has (hopefully!!!) done his job in keeping us up this season, but he is seriously losing the plot. First he treats Hucks badly when after what he''s done for us he quite honestly deserves better, now this!!! Speaking of Pearce and Gibbs, oh how they have great futures blah, blah!!! They are other clubs players and he should be concentrating on our young boys not others!!!!
