Has anybody tried to get a refund for the Peterborough Train Ticket fiasco.. ? I Pre booked well in advance to ensure i got on the train. I have been down Thorpe Train Station and was told to get in with East Midlands Train, which i did via E mail.. The E D P and E E N both said anyone with Pre Booked tickets would get a refund...Not according to East Midlands Livestock Contractors.... 1 week later i still had not heard ,i rang them and they informed that only passengers with reserved seats would get a refund. I know u may think i am a moaning old git, but why should these big corporate, multi million pound , knobs( to put it bluntly) get away with taking our money and treating us like animals. I wouldnt have minded if i was on my own, but i had 2 young children with me and this is my gripe....i pre booked to avoid standing there and standing coming back....Thats better i have had my rant for the day.......
