  1. It is a complete mystery to me how people can make statements like Declan Rudd is ready to replace Ruddy in the team. Where on earth are they getting the evidence from to make that statement. It is pure guess work and speculation. It is clearly true that Ruddy is struggling for confidence and form and is not operating at the same superb level as before. However the answer is not to gamble on a young keeper untried at this level. By all accounts Rudd had a decent season on loan last year at league 1 level but I was at Shrewsbury and frankly he wasnt great that night. It would be a rudiculous risk to throw him into the team and gamble at this stage of the season. The new manager has made it clear that he has no intention of selling Ruddy by telling Mark Bunn he can find a club.I would suggest that instead of unfairly hammering a bloke who has been a superb keeper for the team and made a world class penalty save yesterday we get behind him and support him.
  2. I dont know and frankly neither do I care. I support Norwich City and couldnt care less about a team from Birmingham who operate in the Premier league. Lambert did a superb job for the club but he decided to move on and leave. The moment he left I ceased to care about him. He is not the manager of our club and not our concern. We are in a different league to Villa and have just appointed a new manager to hopefully lead a successful promotion campaign back to the Premier League either direct or via the play off route. Lets forget about the past, not worry about teams from other cities and other leagues, who we no longer play and concentrate upon getting behind our club, our manager and our team and give them the support they need to achieve their potential. It really is time people got their priorities right and forgot about the past and concentrated upon the present and what the future can bring. I thought this was a forum about Norwich City.
  3. I have never quite understood the blind faith some members of this noticeboard have in Elliott. He is a smashing bloke and talks a graet job. However I have just watcheed 72 minutes of Brighton v Millwall and he has been dragged off after having an absolute stinker.Several times he has simply not been able to control a ball passed straight to him. Simply not good enough and certainly not the answer to our prayers that some members of this forum seem to think he is.
  4. Ah right on cue a typical example of the keyboard bullies who clearly know nothing about football that I refer to, perfectly proving my point. Why is it necessary to imply a swear word on a forum when expressing an opinion. This individual has clearly missed my point that the clubs around us who have sacked the manager during this season are all below us. The other manager changes he refers to were made either in close season or refer to clubs way above us who we are effectively not competing with us for our future in the division and therefore the point poorly raised is totally irrelevant. These are the people who call our manager, our board, our CEO and some of our players hapless & clueless. I reckon you need to look in the mirror sir.
  5. I have two questions for those who boo and criticise their own manger and players and try to organise ridiculous, childish protests then don''t turn up because the team proves they are idiots. 1. Where are the teams in the league who sacked their manager during this season tonight? 2. Where will they finish? The answer to the first question is that they are all below Norwich and West Ham,who didn''t panic or listen to idiots and rude keyboard bullies, who clearly don''t know anything about football. One answer for the second question is.None of us can predict the future, but I like a bet and I would put a lot of money on Norwich and West Ham staying up and vindicating the decision makers, who it appears do know what they are doing, when the three relegated teams will be taken down by new managers.
  6. Very good point. Where are the loud mouth bully boys who have been trying to hound a decent bloke and a good manager out of his job. My guess is they are on the Ipswich website renewing their season tickets or at church praying we loose to Villa next week so they can resume their idiotic campaign.
  7. Only an absolute idiot would ever want the team they profess to support to loose a vital premier league game with what is at stake for the club. Even if we only get 1 point from the Hull Game that might be the point that keeps us up, no matter who ends up being the manager at the end of the season. The relegation battle is going to be very close this season and any points are absolutely vital. This is an utterly ridiculous suggestion and anybody who is stupid enough to want their team to loose on saturday should get a ticket in the away end because they are clearly not Norwich City supporters.
  8. Never mind FW to be able to understand irony you have to be intelligent. Maybe somebody will explain that to you one day.
  9. The much vaunted and highly talented Swansea side with a 13 million pound striker have today failed to score at home against West Ham. Must be time for the manager to be sacked? Newcastle United with their galaxy of highly paid overseas stars lost 2-1 against a team who has not won a game all season and had one point before today. Must be time for their manager to be sacked as well.
  10. I cannot understand why anybody is panicking because we didn''t pay an inflated price for a league 1 winger. What has this manager got to do to prove to you all that he knows exactly what his business is about. A lot of people seem to forget that only last season we were spiralling down the divisions and were humiliated @ home 7-1 by a very average league 1 team. Since he has taken charge we have risen from the ashes and now sit on the verge of the premier league. We are so feared by the rest of the championship that visitors to Carrow Road park the proverbial bus and try to hit us on the break & hang on to anything they can snatch. Away from home we dominate so much we have not lost since October and we are now dissatisfied with points @ places like QPR & Palace. This manager is something special, the players respond to & respect him & the vast majority of the fans idolise him, just look at the histrionics when Burnley tested the water. Furthermore the new chief exec & board clearly back him to the hilt. It is clear to me that the decks have been cleared & salaries offloaded by letting several players out on loan to pave the way for a major offensive as soon as the dust settles on the ridiculous January window. We are now in a superb position next week to bring in the few players we need on loan to supplement the already excellent & high performing squad, because the premier big boys will have spare capacity in their squads & we can cherry pick quality players on loans to the end of the season. If we go up some of them may stay. If we loose in the play offs they go back to their clubs and we haven''t broke the bank. It''s a win, win situation & superb management. If we all keep behind the team, the manger & the club we are heading back to the premier league. Then we won''t need favours off league 1 managers or be worried about league 1 wingers. Tell me I''m wrong in May.
  11. I dont understand why you would consider changing a winning side you dont fix unbroken things so i dont see why we should change anything plus we are only allowed 5 players in the squad at one time so who would you drop ched evans!!!! ha
