1. Just checking Dortmunds  ticket prices, 14 euros standing ,behind the goal in the biggest free standing stand in Europe for Bundesliga games  , Bargain!             http://www.bvb.de/?%98Y%1B%E4%F4%9D
2. It may sound like a bad idea but i got back from Helsinki ,Finland 2 weeks ago. I am not too flush with cash so i stayed in a Youth Hostel for 1 night which cost me 25 euros. In Helsinki there are a few hostels and i was really lucky to get a bed for the night  , only because of a cancellation at 10pm.One of the hostels is actually located in the Olympic stadium  (there was about 150 beds i think)and it is open all year 24 hours.I know we have that monstrosity The Holiday Inn but i am sure with the amount of foreign students/and tourists we get in this fine city who can''t afford their prices, would  they prefer to stay in a hostel actually built into the ground?,could it be workable?do we have the extra space ? " I am not so sure that  the money they would make from it would cover Grant Holt''s wages
3. It looks like Robert Green can kiss his international career goodbye after Wednesday which i think is unbelievably harsh when you consider the other players in the squad (yet still get picked ),let the country down as well. Just because you are the goalie does it mean one mistake and you are out ? i think that everybody deserves a second chance, even Scott Carson.Take a look at our most capped player , Peter Shilton a true legend on and off the pitch (remember Tina?), one of the greats but i can recall a couple of errors of epic proportions which he bounced back from.Him diving over the ball against Poland at Wembley in the World cup qualifier in  73 , his superman impression against Argentina -Mexico 86 when he should have sent Maradona into orbit and of course his "felled oak" impersonation against Germany for their goal and the penalty shootout. As Robert Green came through our academy i hate to see this albeit he is not our player anymore.Joe Hart is on his honeymoon period but it will be interesting to see what happens when he makes a mistake which costs England dear.Fraser Forster in goal next?
4. Paul Mariner, Eric Gates,John Wark , Alan Brazil. With faces like the smell of gas , no team in the history of British football has ever paraded such a chamber of horrors.A motley crew who could put the wind up even Christopher Lee.Rumour has it that during the early 80s the binners would only use ballboys who were in the last year of high school, such was their ability to scare young children.
5. My family had some connections with Roy and he actually pulled a few strings for me to get free tickets and a visit to the Radio Norfolk box for a game a couple of times.Top bloke , really sad about this
6.

Agreed - but as I have already said twice, Sheepshanks organised the deal so that Evans can only make money out of the club once it has made a profit for 5 consecutive years, stopping Evans doing a runner with all the money if we were to get promotion next May. The only way we can realistically make money is by being in the top flight.
Evans either has very, very deep pockets then, or theres things that you don''t know about the deal. Or maybe he is a genuine fan, who wants you promoted at any cost, I guess it could happen. But rich people don''t get rich by being stupid with their money. [:)]
Of course he has deep pockets - you do know he failed to buy out the Daily Mirror for £800m a few years ago don''t you? The terms of the takeover were 100% visible to all shareholders so we''ve known all along about the 5-year profit plan. You''re right people don''t get rich by being stupid, but he knows we must speculate to accumulate in some areas of our team.
I guess lottery winners can be stupid but some people can just  have a brilliant business brain. My old boss was just like Basil Fawlty but was absolutely loaded and knew how to make money on other peoples hard graft .I still find it astonishing that that geezer at Swaffham ( Mike Carroll i think his name was ) spunked away 9 million. Why didn''t he just bank it  and then take out 500 quid spending money every week?
7. I never had because i was shite ...but one player we used to have a kick about with at the old Jenny Lind 5 a side pitch was always going off all over  the country for trials with different  professional teams.I think the highest level he played was for Norwich Utd in the Anglian Com.I read that Harry Rednapp used to hold open trials at West Ham for everyone  of any ability , his idea was most of them would be shocking but you may occasionally find a real diamond .
8. Don''t be surprised to see him sign for Blackpool, I do know that Holloway rates him
9. I Think that  Mills does a lot of charity and he did try to throttle Robbie Savage so he can''t be all bad.Whether you like it or not he has had a great career, its not as if Norfolk is a hotbed of football talent so fair play to him. I remember reading about Brian Clough talking to one player " I really like you and i think you are a really nice guy but i am not going to play you, do you see him over there? ( pointing to Larry Lloyd)  .....well i can''t stand that horrible bastard but he is in my team for Saturday".
10. Thats not to mention that he is a very rich business man who must have shafted people to get where he is today. He has probably been screwing people over for years but when somebody does it to him he can''t take it.Am i wrong?
11. I know what this is , Cowling is terrified of us getting promoted to the prem next season and he is trying to do everything in his power to derail this possibility. With the current management set up there is every chance of a play off place. In my opinion , championship promotion is there for the taking. Many posters on here point out about the step up in class, that is correct but there are many ex prem  players floating around  in this division who just don''t fancy it.Big teams like Boro,Leeds,Forest,Leicester etc not to mention the Scum ...well i am shaking in my boots!
12. Due to Lamberts international pedigree maybe  he  would fancy a punt on a signing an international at the world cup.Any half decent players in the squads  out there who would not cost an arm or a leg? I hear that Cowling is going to be out there checking out players for ColWho, that 500,000 is burning a hole in his pocket.
13. What i can''t understand is that Cowling is a multimillionaire business man and must have more money than most of us could ever dream of .The flash cars, the women, the holiday villas in Marbella, the big house, the champagne, owner of his own football team (albeit a pub one)etc .His life must be great ....The last thing on his mind right now  should be little old Norwich
14. ''Lord Nelson! Lord Beaverbrook! Sir Winston Churchill! Sir Anthony Eden! Clement Attlee! Henry Cooper! Lady Diana! Maggie Thatcher - can you hear me, Maggie Thatcher! Your boys took one hell of a beating! Your boys took one hell of a beating!'' Said by Bjorge Lillelien on Norwegian TV The irony is that  most of the Chav Scum who cover themselves in the flag during football tournaments have got no idea who these people are.
15. You cannot deny that the "Fozzy flick" was an amazing piece of skill and he did in fact score a brilliant goal when we played QPR on the last day of the season under the  rodent which kept us up.Ched Evans made it  1 nil  and at the time the tension in the ground was unbearable before Fozzys "Arie Haan" rocket.Daryl Russell scored the third i believe after their goalkeeper went walkabout.
16. You can''t deny that the "fozzy flick" was an amazing piece of skill  and that he scored  a brilliant goal on the last day of the season against QPR which kept us up under the rodent.Ched Evans had scored first but even then we were still very nervous until Fozzys "Arie Haan" rocket.
17. Been having a gander at the Cardiff message boards, it seems that that  blue scum from down the road are very interested in buying Chopra (for 3 mill).I hate to say it but it would be a brilliant signing for them as he was the top striker in the championship this year.
18. When D. Sutch  rolled that terrible penalty wide  at Cardiff. It suddenly dawned on me that the dream was well and truly deflated. However the greatest England striker ever Jimmy Greaves once said "If you aren''t good enough to win during 120 mins , then you are bad enough to lose on penalties.
19. Make sure you bring your boots!   If  PL told you " Can you do any better?" at a pre season friendly after you have been heckling  one of the players , how many of you would?   I can remember this story, the Sun ran a whole page about it There is a poor moral to this particular story- “moan enough and all your dreams will come true”. That is what happened to West Ham fan Steve Davies on a balmy (and barmy) summer’s day in 1994. Davies was watching his side play Oxford in a pre-season friendly, and was incensed at the ineptitude being shown by Hammers forward Lee Chapman. Tirade after tirade of abuse rained down on Chapman — the kind not seen since his last argument with Leslie Ash. Harry Redknapp, West Ham’s assistant manager at the time, finally lost patience with the vocal supporter, and ordered him down the tunnel. Davies re-appeared ten minutes later clad in Claret and Blue, and was given half an hour to prove he was any better. Whisper this, but he actually did, scoring. Chapman sloped off quietly after the match, whilst Redknapp had another tale to add to his collection. For Davies, the memories of a pre-season friendly at the Manor Ground will live forever.
20. Carl Bradshaw , so crap that even local taxi drivers could not recognize him
21. Clive Baker  , but he isn''t helped by some terrible defending   http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aZFJVmrlhuU
22. Henrik Mortenson  in the early 90s was one player who was a huge disappointment.Don''t know what happened to him, i believe we paid a small fortune .Same kind of build as Flecky  but without the talent or goals.
23. I  was told that in 2002  Craig Bellamy paid 30 grand for a greyhound and all of his old Norwich team mates were ripping the piss behind  his back on a lads  night out in the city.Is paying that much for a greyhound  being thick?
24. Was really impressed on how articulate  and intelligent Chris Martin sounded on the radio. There was one rumour which i can''t believe to be true however (I did read it in the Daily Mirror). When Everton were playing in Europe in Madrid in the 1980s a certain younger member of the playing staff came down to the hotel  reception with his towel drapped over his shoulders asking where the beach was.The player in question was said to be our own illustrious radio broadcaster a certain Mr N.Adams.Say it isn''t so Neil. Are there any other instances of footballers being thick?Who is the thickest footballer you know?
25. Andy Townsend- too many  free corporate dinners at ITV
