1.
I am not a football manager, but I cannot see the sense in bringing all our players back for an opposition corner. How many times have we seen us clear the ball only for it to come straight back in again. If we just left one quick player on the halfway line at least there would be an outlet.
That''s an easy one! The answer is "no". Here''s another one. When we are playing a back five, is it a good idea (particularly at home), to play two holding midfielders and issue them with instructions to not get ahead of the ball and, under no circumstances, enter the opposition penalty area?
 2.
I''d rather we still paid the other 25% and played him tbh but it is what it is.
It most certainly is what it is but it should not prevent comment on what is yet another ridiculous situation. An employee is costing the club £22.5K per week and in return we are receiving absolutely nothing. Farcical and not an efficient way of running a club.
 3.
Webber is not the root cause neither is getting rid of him the "silver bullet". All of our issues right now boil down to one simple fact. We don''t have enough money. If a club doesn''t have enough money, it can either raise ticket prices (and ours are already 12th highest in the country, and highest for the league we''re in), sell players (which we''re doing, to the detriment of football results), get promoted (see previous point) or the owners can invest money. Our owners are not willing or able to invest, so the previous 3 must be relied on. 3 will not happen while 2 is in progress, ergo the spiral never ends.Delia imply has to sell up for the club to progress. It''s obvious and logical that her continued ownership is no longer benefiting the club (wouldn''t have been an issue had the riches from previous promotions not been p*ssed up the wall).
Exactly right but will they be there until they are carried out in boxes?
 4.
I''ve noticed he''s soaking up an awful lot of the criticism for this season so far. But does anyone really believe he''s the problem rather than the owners? Do we think that Pritchard would still be here if it was someone else in his role? Do we think that Jerome offer would have been rejected? Do we think the ''sell before we can buy'' mantra is chosen by Webber rather than those above him?
Do we think it was right to ship out Naismith and continue to pay 75% of his wages?
 5.
Do you think a bank lets you use an overdraft for free Duncan? How many times have the club said they need to sell before replacements come in? That''s a cash flow problem simple as that, basic business really Or are you admitting the owners/sporting director don''t know what they''re doing letting so many players go before replacing them? As for the tettey pass, it was poor but gunn could have got it easily had he not changed his mind after starting to come, look at where Donaldson got the first touch, both at fault
There is such a thing as selling one player at the same time as buying another. It really can be done as shown by other clubs.
 6.

I''ll renew. Because I''m a Norwich fan.
Well stated... That''s what fans should be doing.... Are we really all supporting Norwich for some glory days or for success.... I don''t understand, surely some of you should have chosen more carefully when you were younger. I had no choice I was born in Norfolk it was made for me.
I was born in Norfolk and have been supporting Norwich for 53 years. My two year old grandson is on the waiting list for a season ticket and is patiently preparing to become a fifth generation supporter. I hate what is happening to my club and am struggling trying to justify spending the amount of money required to be bored senseless every week.
 7.
Like many others I have had a season ticket for a long time and have had no hesitation in renewing in the past. There have been many highs and a few lows over the years, but generally I have been proud to be a season ticket holder and support my home club. This year I have found it difficult to motivate myself to do the 360 mile round trip for home games. I currently enjoy playing golf with good friends and yearly membership of my local golf club is equivalent to the cost of a season ticket plus travelling expenses; and for me that option seems more appealing.
A round trip of 360 miles?? You deserve a medal! I am struggling to justify a round trip of 50 miles. I too have the "golf dilemma" but have solved it in previous years by playing Saturday mornings between 8.00 and 13.00 before going to the game. I think it may well be far easier going to the 19th hole in future!
 8.

Casual match day tickets are now readily available, so if you miss more than 2 or 3 games a season there''s not a lot of point in keeping a season ticket on... that seems to be the situation some people (myself included) find themselves in now. When I cant make a game I struggle to GIVE the ticket away.
Sadly that seems to be the status quo among my friendship group too. It really isn''t the hottest ticket in town right now.
When I go to see my team play, I want to be excited. I want to see attacking football with the team trying to score more goals than the opposition. I don''t want to see one striker, isolated, standing alone and repeatedly scratching various parts of his anatomy in an effort to stay awake. I don''t want to go to a cup game only to find that we are not playing a striker in an obvious attempt to reinforce our new name of Norwich City Nil. I don''t want to see my team take a free kick twenty yards outside the opposition area and then four passes later find the ball back with our goalkeeper. This type of football may be normal and acceptable in the German 4th division. To me and my 54 years supporting Norwich, it most certainly is not.
 9.

Not trying to be controversial but looking for views about people’s view around renewing season tickets. I’ve lived and breathed NCFC pretty much since I was born, I grew around players in the 70’s as my dad was good friend of Kevin Keelan so I’m certainly not a plastic, I didn’t go much in the 90’s as I played but I’ve had a season ticket now for around 15 years. Every year I’ve felt enough inside me to want to renew, this renewal I’m really not sure and I didn’t feel that way during the L1 problems. My biggest question mark is that I can’t see us going anywhere other than backwards now, money is key, the gap between the Premier League and also rans is getting bigger and we are now selling our best players to clubs that we really should be competing with but we are slipping further and further behind. I’m sure I’ll get the usual calling me a pant wetter etc etc etc but I’m actually looking for some sort of meaningful debate on it (if that’s possible on here)?!
This could have been me talking. I was first taken to a game by my father in 1963. I played regularly for more than 15 years from 1971 to 1986 but still managed to get to games whenever possible. My son and I have had season tickets in the Upper Barclay for the last 15 years. My wife and I are shareholders. My grandson, who is two years old, is on the season ticker waiting list, ready to become a fifth generation supporter. Yet, it is very likely that our season tickets will be renewed. This season has, in my view, has been disastrous with almost no entertainment value. The whole ethos is misguided. Football is basically a simple game and you win by getting more goals than the opposition. Our priority seems to be to keep possession at all costs, mainly to prevent the opposition from scoring. In effect, what we are seeing is boring and, to be honest, I can quite easily be bored more cheaply than I have been this season. looking at the wider picture, the major problem is the majority shareholders. I fully acknowledge the fantastic job they have done over the years but football has changed. They are getting older and it is time to sell. They haven''t been prepared to do so but now is the time before it is too late. There really are people out there who would be prepared to buy.
** very likely that the season tickets will NOT be renewed

 11.
If we can get a half decent centre forward out of this disaster it would be some consolation
You can get any centre forward you want and it won''t make a scrap of difference. Stick Ronaldo up front in this team and he would struggle. We are trying to play like Barcelona with players from Barrow. It can''t and will not work. The mentality has to fundamentally change. Putting a team out against Chelsea with not one striker was a disgrace. The cook and her husband need to sell so that we can have owners with money to invest. The route we are on will lead to local derbies with King''s Lynn.
 12. "Should have beaten Arsenal"? You mean like Nottingham Forest actually did?
 13.
Rather suggests to me that Pritchard was unprofessional and a bit of a tosser, but hey, it''s ok for our players to belittle their teammates and the club. If true, I''m glad to be shot of him. The squad we have left, i.e. without Pritchard, is the one we went on our best run this season with and which should have beaten Arsenal. It is capable of playing well. Clearly Pritchard was one of our better players but it seems he thought he was too good for us.
14. You mean someone who walks out on the team before the game and refuses to play? We certainly miss that!
 15.
I don''t get this. Surely it''s because people stand that this solution had to be found. The alternative would be for our club to try and enforce that everybody in the ground to remain seated. As I see it this solution enables fans who want to stand to carry on standing? What other solution do you suggest Norfolk and Webbo?
It''s all very well to pick on 50 people - as long as you''re not one of the 50. Are they trying to tell us that this is the only area of the ground where this problem exists? It seems like the plan is to "sacrifice" 50 people so that the rest can carry on with what they''re doing.
 16.
what happens if they move the people and the people that replace them in their seats stand up ? :-)
The replacements will be selected from the officially recognised "sit down pool"
 17.
I sit in the Jarrold stand and can kind of see what happens over there. Its obvious that people stand the entire game in block A, the snake pit and then B and C. The issue is that security obviously have to follow rules and ask people to sit down if that is a rule. My main gripe is that against Sheffield Wednesday the stewards got the front section in block A to sit down but then there were a row of people who chose to continue standing which meant everyone behind them had to stand. It was made very obvious that these people could lose their seat if they stand... surely common sense prevails and for one game they sit down for part of the game? The first half for instance was nothing to stand up for. Unfortunately being stubborn has resulted in the club being forced into action. Once these children are moved the situation will continue and it will only end with further issues because whats stopping the stewards then moving onto block B, C and the snakepit? Is it not hard to sit for a period of a game?
I am more than happy to sit for the whole game as I find it practically impossible to sleep whilst standing up!!
 18.

So if the Brentford fans stand on Friday night will there be a mass ejection of away support?......Nope, and you all know that......Double standards......or not?......
It is a bit irrelevant as they are not our fans. The issue is with fans repeatedly standing (apparently specifically children standing on seats) week in week out. Away fans turn up once a season so it is not really going to be a long-term problem like this is.
Love that! Just imagine, a serious incident in the away section resulting from fans standing. The Club''s response? Nothing to do with us, they were away supporters.
 19.
For anyone that hasn''t watched the video: The club don''t care if people stand, although they obviously have to make the right noises re: health and safety. At least one person has complained about restricted view in Barclay A. There have been no complaints from any other part of the stadium. As a result, children will be moved from Barclay A to protect our capacity/ticket selling ability. If you''re going to use this as a rod to beat the club with, you really are desperate. Plenty of things to moan about at the moment, this isn''t one of them.
Isn''t it about fairness, discrimination and treating your customers in the same way. "All people are equal but some are more equal than others".
 20.
So if the Brentford fans stand on Friday night will there be a mass ejection of away support?......Nope, and you all know that......Double standards......or not?......
Picking on one small section of the crowd is nothing but blatant discrimination.
 21.
See Ricardo, thats just the thing. If its about rules being broken, why not Block B, C, D, E, Snakepit, away fans etc? They are being allowed to stand yet Block A are being made out to be these horrible little rule breakers
Easy target. They are not going to take on Blocks D and E are they?
 22.

Fantastic! The coffee in my FONCY youth team to first team mug will taste even better in the morning! [:)]Both Korey and Tom Adeyemi came through at just the wrong time for futures with us.
Is there ever a right time for us? The number of players we dump because they are lightweight, lazy, both or not just good enough!! We then "recruit" at great expense players who have less quality.
I''m not disagreeing with that. We could have kept Korey and never have signed the likes of Howson, Fer, Tettey etc. Nobody was saying so at the time though.
But it happens time and time again. There are countless examples of players who we kick out of the club and go on to be excellent elsewhere.

 24. For those who can, the train from King''s Lynn is a much better bet.
