1. Brilliant Bly,  just Brilliant, 10/10 and a big gold[*], go to the top of the class !!!
2. Had to laugh this morning when I heard Blatter interviewed vetoing the 39th game. Said it''ll never happen as long as he''s president of FIFA!! Hey Happy Hammer Andy, how about a premiership fans opinion?
3.
Iain Dowie to take the Blades on a remarkable run to the play-offs?
I do hope you jest old chap. You''ve stated on a previous thread that WE won''t make the play off''s yet you think that that Dowie bloke could take Sheff Utd there........... who are 3 points behind us !!! Mmmmm????? LoL. [;)]
4. Mmmmmm? Now how did this turn into another we8wba hijacked thread, silly me for mentioning him and giving him license...... DOH!
5. IF WE DON''T WANT PROMOTION,  THEN WHAT THE BL**DY HELL ARE WE DOING PLAYING THE GAME???!!!
6. Not really having a "snip" just a bit of a laugh but I do wish you''d stop quoting all your fact''s and figures at us, they don''t wash.  After all, look at Sunderland ! Anything is possible. Also, not quite the point of the thread Also...... please try and punctuate.  I don''t mean to be picky but it makes your comments extremely difficult to read, especially the long ones....... Thank you [:D]
7. Crikey !! This is most enjoyable. A thoughtful and insightful debate with both sides of the arguement being represented intelligently without insults being traded (dinosaurs appart, Yankee ![;)]) Well Yankee, you ask for suggestions so how about this.  I think the NFL draft (draught?) pick system is great with, I believe, the team that finishes last getting first choice down to the top team getting last pick.  If I''m not correct please advise as I haven''t watched NFL for a while. Would we be able to establish a similar system in each division? The promoted teams getting first choice and the champions last but still the opportunity to trade picks, ie 1 x 1st round for 2nd + 3rd (or however they do it over there).  It would necessitate a pool of players being constructed, say of out of contract players or overseas players who wish to play in our leagues, and probably some sort of wage capping system with players honouring contracts.  What do you think?  There''s probably a hundred reasons why it wouldn''t work but maybe a hundred why it could?  The NFL still seems to be very profitable but much fairer, with no one team or group of teams gaining superiority.
8. Yes, that''s right, un f***in'' believable!!  No defeat, oh no.  Not a loss, not a stuffing, not a hammering ..... in 13, YES ladies and gentlemen 13 whole games, in the league, of 90mins plus. OH NO, all it took was a 1-1 draw,  a home draw against a good side who happen to sit several places above us in the league and guess what?  They''re out already.... the doom mongers and pessimists.   "The bubble has burst for me now"  and several "we won''t make the play off''s now". I thought the word was "supporter" as in one who "supports" the club.  Come on guys, have a little faith in the Roeder revolution! Instead of all the negativity can''t we all be more positive?  You would have thought that there would be a feel good factor around the club and all of the fans at the moment. Just take a long hard look at where we were, then look at where we are!  11 places higher and 11 points off the bottom.  Now who''s to say that we can''t make up 7 points and 7 places before the end of the season.  There are too many people who don''t want us to aspire to better things for fear of disappointment, too many of the "we don''t want to be seen to be doing too well or someone will nick our manager" brigade.  Too many, I''d settle for mid table safety this season.  Well what about next season? Are you going to settle then too? You might as well support Wolves!  I''d settle for promotion this season, and Qualification for Europe the next season, how does that sound? I''m dreaming am I? Well good, because I''ll bet there is a dressing room full of players pulling on yellow shirts every week with that same dream, of playing in the Premiership and travelling to Italy and Spain to play and I, for one, will be "supporting" them every step of the way and hoping that next season I''ll be watching them play Chelsea, Arsenal, Man Utd and all. oh and ps. those who said we8wba knows what he''s talking about .........yeah right !
9. Very good idea in my opinion!!  Yet again football could take a leaf out of rugby''s book. The sooner all of these "trials" are established in the Premier league/Football league, the better. The main problem is finding referees who are brave enough to enforce it.  Whatever happened to the 10 yards for arguing rule, I''ve certainly never seen it implimented, has anyone?
10. Bloody well said "Kick it off".  Thank god there are some people on here who can actually see things logically and clearly!
11.
Oh please! Will people give it up on the Delia "big club" "little club" thing. Please people just drop it now.
I love the way you say this Chicken, and then come out with an extremely long (and very good I thought) statement on the same page !!!! Just another example of the 180 degree turn-ability of some Canary fans? [8-)]
12. How about something easy like "FO....ZZy''s a jolly good fellow.....", etc etc
13. Isn''t Gibbs supposed to be an out and out winger?? Isn''t that exactly what Roeder was doing last night.  OK, so apparently he was poor, but that doesn''t mean he wasn''t selected as an attacking winger with Bertie, an attacking full back behind him. I do see your point but isn''t it preferable NOT to get beaten.  You can''t win every game!!!! As many people have pointed out, Hull are a good side at the moment and  a point a piece was a fair result by all accounts. We nearly came a cropper though by being a bit light weight defensively on the left, most people stating that Bertie looked very light weight too and Mo would have been better. Too play devils advocate though, wasn''t that the team most people on here have been crying out for all week?  "Oh, I''d put Gibbs in and Bertrand at left back!!" and so said many a team picker leading up to the game.  Well, as the old saying goes, "be careful what you wish for....."  I for one am very happy with the way Glenn is progressing at the moment, How anyone can criticise a 13 match unbeaten run is quite beyond me, perhaps we should get rid of him for not WINNING 13 on the trot !!
14. Sophie Ellis Bextor and Mylene Class ................. a pair of ............ er ............ Strikers !?!? [:D]
15.
hucks was great player but no longer is get over it... norwich have a new style which consists off youth and enthuasm something hucks doesnt have on his side no more. as for promotion big possibility, well, its not a "big possibilty" you in great position and great form but dont put this kind pressure on your team or they will prob crumble. settle for midtable and anything else is a bonus
Well that just about sums up why your team are such a bunch of underachievers!! You can''t play under pressure and you always "settle" for safety.  Well, my friend, that''s not our way.  We''ll stick right behind our team and help them all the way to the play off''s and the premier league (again) and if they''re not quite there this season we''ll be right behind them again next season!!  And since when has a 4 point gap not been a "big possibilty"?
16.
how about hucks and dublin likely to be gone 7 loaness sent back leaves norwich with squad of marshall, docherty, cureton, russell and not to many others. obviously you may sign these loaness but norwich teams future is so unstable in either league until such deals or players decisions are confrimed 100%
Just think, by 10pm on Tuesday night this "unstable team" are going to be sitting above your massive club in the table! Wonder if you''ll be so quick to criticise then?.......... Yeah, probably................. no stopping you really is there.
17.
but surely somewhere norwich are missing the 30m as tv money and gate reciept would cover your wages. and your probably in profit in transfer dealing by about 5-6m in past 3-5seasons
Oh if only it were that simple, perhaps in Wolerverhamperton it is. Nice to see you''ve had a proper look at the books! Just what colour is the sky on planet Wolves [:S]
18.

No offence we8wba but you as an outsider can see that the board are making mugs of us,so surely all NCFC fans can see as well? Im not holding my breath.........
Well perhaps you''d like to clarify why you think you''re being turned over? Lots of finger pointing on here but no specific allegations. We are a PLC so I''m sure Inland Revenue. HMC&E and the police would be very pleased to hear from you. The restaurant makes money, commercial sales are amongst the best in our league, wages are down by well over £1m......Thanks Helveg et al. I wonder if Roeder would have come had we still been running up the mud hill on Mousehold with backpacks full of bricks. We have facilities second to none in this league and better than many in the Prem and sell tickets at carefully marketed prices that keep the fans coming back. Carra is an affordable, very pleasant ground to come to - hence to the total disbelief of other clubs, even when bottom of the league we sell out.  Thats down to the board. Fans are fans, we''re no more loyal or passionate than any other bunch of fans. The team is down to successive managers spunking the clubs money on less than average journeymen (which most of you seemed desperate to again panic buy this January - you dont learn). Again and again the board have come forward with transfer funds and the wages capital to support those signed contracts. 2006/7 gate receipts were  £7.7m out of a total turnover of £24m. Only £2.4m of that was player profit. Yes of course I''m aware of creative accounting, but as a PLC its impossible to hide money. You can pull money from one year into another, but ultimately it is accountable. Quite where they find the money astounds me. Lets have some specifics fall off the bandwagon as it ignorantly rolls along shall we? I''ll do my best to get specific answers to specific questions. Cant say fairer than that.
Nice one Centurion [;)]
19. Drop Bertrand !!??  That won''t happen. He''s been superb recently. I think he might rest Semi as he''s been carrying a knock and missed a few days training this week due to an unfortunate bereavement.  Bates certainly looked the part on Saturday.  As it''s Cardiff away I would also be inclined to pack the midfield but with a lot of pace. My team :       Marsh     Bates - Doc - Shacks - Mo Crofty - Rusty - Fozzy - Hucks(or Gibbs) - Bertrand                         Evans Bench : Dion, Henry, Pearce, Gilks, Semi
20. Well you get my vote Ched !! I received a severely slapped wrist from several "regulars" on here for daring to start a new thread.  You should read Shack Attacks link re football forums and "netiquette", made me giggle.
21. Absolutely brilliant Shack!! That should raise a few eyebrows.  I, for one, a been a "lurker" for a very long time but now I''m out of my shell, WATCH OUT !![:@]
22. Thought this was more a thread on Saturdays game. I agree by the way Rudolph, mind you, it does ask the question about where and when Glenn is going to play young Gibbs?  Isn''t it nice to have a choice for a change. Perhaps 4-5-1 with Bertrand-Hucks-Fozzy-Rusty-Crofty ? Plenty of attacking midfielders with pace there. Evans up front with Dion and Gibbs to call on if required? Waddya think? (probably "why change a winning side")
23. Excellent point, which is exactly why so many people are complaining about the standard of, and lack of, reserve team football. How are fringe players, youngsters and players returning from injury supposed to get a competative run out and 90 mins match fitness if they rarely play, and when they do it''s against such opposition as Grays (no direspect intended). As you said, it''s great to see Glenn & Co taking it seriously.  Maybe they, and other like minded managers and coaches can apply some pressure and get a "proper" reserve league reinstated where we can, perhaps, play the other reserve teams from our own league on a more regular basis. I don''t know what the rules are but are you allowed to arrange your own reserve fixtures with other clubs from the championship?
24. I don''t think we ever had the chance to sign him even if we''d met the asking price straight away, instead of at the end of the window. Brum were not going to let him go unless they had signed a replacement. Don''t forget QPR offered the full price and were knocked back, by the club or by Tiny we''ll never know.  Had they made the signings they were after I believe we would have got him.  Whether we get him in the summer will, of course, be down to Brum remaining in the Prem.  If they do they will be in a strong position to buy and therefore, with Tiny apparently at the bottom of the pecking order, he will probably be put up for sale at, hopefully, a reduced price.  If they go down I would think it more likely that the better, and pricier players will be jumping ship like the proverbial (money grabbing) rats and heading across town to WBA, should they make it.  Leaving, of course, the mighty Tiny to try and stabalise a weakened club, ergo..... NOT FOR SALE !! Just a thought, could be completely off.[*-)]
25.
Thing is Scooby ,Widdle isn''t really into any rational or factual debate. His posts are never more than an attack upon the club, based usually on some imagined conspiracy engaged in by the board. Not pessismism just a sheer dislike of the club. Odd how others of a likeminded persuasion also find it not within their ability to turn up at Carrow Road. As to that rattle thing, I made one in woodwork, got off the Eastern Counties bus at Surrey Road and the bloody thing fell apart before I''d even got up onto the cattle market (used to go to Valori''s for chips) ! Six weeks it took to make !
Hope your woodworking skills have improved Ralph, could be a nice little earner for those in the Jarrold who can''t make much noise themselves![;)] Mind you, the Rozzers would probably consider them to be offensive weapons these days.
