1.
Anyone spotted any R45 IAK number plates in the City?
No, but I saw an AWR164T  this morning, but not near Asda. Are we signing an Cockney''s?
 2.

Gow is a striker who can also play as an attacking midfielder. I can guarantee that this is all true and I was told about these two players last week, which I did post on here. Both have now been sealed signed and delivered and will 100% be announced officially tomorrow. MARK MY WORDS :)
Why do i get the feeling that we8wba has something to do with this.....
Can''t be CT, it has some punctuation and every third word isn''t missing.  Oh....... and it''s not in Chinese.
 3. Well............... that was one of the hardest posts I''ve ever had to read. Just managed to make it though.  What a load of complete drivel!!! And as for the complete back peddle at the end, you might as well have said "sign Ronaldo or we''re all off". How dare you suggest that if we don''t go along with your stupid plan that we are not "loyal fans". You go right ahead and pay for your ticket and start your little protest. I think most people going will have a little laugh at you standing with your 2 mates and your big banner when we walk past you to go and SUPPORT our TEAM. As for no information being passed on to "us loyal mugs", well give it a bl**dy chance!! The story has only just been released ffs.  IF and WHEN we find out that GR has not been given the funds promised to him, ie. the start of the season, and we don''t have the necessary squad in place, then by all means, have a go.  Until then may I respectfully suggest that you wind your neck in.
 4. Haven''t received mine yet but the Mrs was doing a remarkably good impression of the cat that got the cream this morning. I''m expecting a ransom note any day soon, I think in exchange for rather expensive shopping trips during the games. Just how much money can a woman spend on shoes in 90 mins? Darn, forgot half time, that at least 2 more outfits Grrrrrrr[:@]
 5. Is the blue writing supposed to represent the touch paper you''ve just lit?  TAKE COVER my friend, I think you''re about to cop it. By the way I totally agree with you, well said. Apart from the fact that I don''t think ''arry would be quite so succesful without the large financial backing.  Good to see you back, whoever you were.
 6.
glenn roeder will be out at xmas u may ask why i say this u look yes  he got us out of trouble but when things started going wrong he started feeling the heat getting worked up with every negative remark that came his way good managers r the ones who can take the heat  thats why our first bad patch of new season could be to much for him
Maybe you should get together with we8wba, then you could both talk b*ll*cks................. in chinese!!
 7.
Scooby I am not in a position of power, nor do I sit in the boot room at Carrow Road with Mr Roeder discussing his plans however I do have a friend close to the club who hears most things before most.  I am not on some kind of power trip but am a genuine fan who is happy to share what I have heard from a good source who has been right a lot more than wrong over the years.  Some deals fall through at the last minute but I promise you that come the start of the season what I have posted won''t be too far off the mark.
Ok Mr Punt. If there is a decent striker lined up then why do we not just sign him?  Surely the longer we wait the more chance of someone else coming in and snapping him up. After all, don''t players want their future sorted out well in advance of the season starting ? Roeders desire to bring in loanees is well known but to wait until the death to build your squad on a bunch of "what ifs" and "maybes" would be sheer madness in anyone''s book and I, for one, do not blieve GR is mad.
 8.
I want to know how the hell Leicester can afford to do this?  http://www.eatsleepsport.com/leicester-city/foxes-land-defender-755086.html   Really puts it into perspective when relegated teams can get better players than us and can clearly spend more than us. Despite Delia''s Norfolk Show optimism I remain totally unconvinced that we have any real money to spend. I really hope I''m wrong.
Mandric Sal, that''s how unfortunately.
 9.
From what I have been told Roeders transfers policy is dictated by which loan players he can bring in.  If he gets his first choice loanees (the likes of Bertand, Ched Evans and there is a decent young centre half lined up from one of the top 3), then this will free up his available funds to buy at decent priced/quality striker and two other decent first teamers.  The key though is to get the 6 loan players that he has targeted and then he can use his budget elsewhere.  There is money to spend its just a case of how its broken down.  The problem is obviously that many clubs are reluctant to let their loanees out until their own squads are determined, hence the Ched Evans situation.  However if we do get the loan players he wants there is a decent striker lined up, unfortunately the name of whom hasn''t been disclosed to me.
Erm?? Curious as to who it is that deems you elite enough to be told Roeders transfer plans??  Care to enlighten us?? Methinks you''re having a shot in the dark here.  Do you seriously expect Roeder to sit around twiddling his thumbs "just in case" some of Premiership chums decide to let him have a loanee with one week to go til kick off........... and then the "decent striker" he has "lined up" is of course going to be sitting at home, doing his own thumb thing, waiting for the mighty Norwich to call so he can get a game next season.  Erm...... don''t think so.......... Oh, sorry, forgot........ should anyone actually "disclose to you" (in your position of obvious power) any names, or the rest of Glenns'' daring plan, feel free to let us all in on it [;)]
 10. Good post Ryank.  It''s not until you actually sit down and try and pick a side that you realise quite how thin on the ground we are.  It worries me that Doc and Shacks pick themselves at centre half.  We need 2 more there in my opinion, one quality experienced CH to start and one more for cover, or have people forgotten how" leaky" we were last season. As everyone has realised, I think, two strikers are definately called for, one of them should be premiership quality (bottom half probably) Ameobi or Sibierski would suit me but I''m not holding out much hope. I''d definitely give Chadwick a start and hope his injury problems are behind him. Hopefully, with a good pre-season, he can show us all what he''s really made of. Oh and "Blah", if you read this, Clingan may not have played above league 1 but lets not forget he is an International and was pretty good against the likes of Spain by all accounts. Give the lad a chance and all that ........ Another 6 signings would do for me. 1 x GK, 2 x CB, 1 x RB 2 x CF
 11. Here''s one for we8wba.... IMO Norwich are the best able .....aww.  (Wehatewestbromwichalbion) Apologies for the end but I had to make it fit somehow. Doubt it''ll shut him up anyway.
 12.
Went down by mini bus and we were some of the first city fans to arrive at about 10am, however it looked as if the whole of Sunderland was there! found a pub which was choc a block full of Sunderland fans, but they were all good humoured. remember the facilities at the old wembley to be, ahem, primitive at best, remember deehan''s shot going in off a deflection and everyone going mad. lots of scarf swapping going on after and absolutely no bother, which is why this was subsequently known as the friendly final, and there were quite close ties between city and sunderland for quite a few years after. good day out but still enjoyed the semi final win more!
John Deehan ??!! You must have a a good few in that pub full of Sunderland fans mate.  Anyone else think he was p!ssed?
 13. Wrightycool, (can''t seem to get the quote in at the mo, sorry) Apparently QPR made an illegal approach for Gorkks and are being disciplined by the FA, hence no deal there (allegedly). He''s a Latvian international defender and quite good by all accounts. At Blackpool at the moment but attracting a lot of attention. Hope that answers your question. NCFCLAD, apparently your source might not be te wind up merchant we all thought, as you were, I believe, the first to say Hooligan HAD signed, so I''ll be the first to offer my apologies. (Still don''t think Bell will come though[;)])
 14.

http://www.teamtalk.com/football/story/0,16368,2483_3735711,00.html didnt know they had that kind of cash - suppose alot generated in fa cup run
you''re just rubbing salt into our very open wounds [:''(][:@]
sorry c.t - i more suprised they got this money and willing to spend it on one player i think hume half decent player but is he worth 1.2m for barnsley? they may been better off spending 400k on 3x players
Dont you even try and post that bull/s- you''re just laughing at us on our own message-board at a very stressful time so [:#]
Especially as he''d be much better off spending £40 on ENGLISH LESSONS!!!!!!
 15.
Bring it on!. I took this same crap from you people this time last year............and look what happened. Some of you posters know sod all.......hell, until it appeared on this site this morning, you too had never heard of him either..........come November, you''ll be screaming for him to be dropped, but will you apologise to the likes of Smudger, TwoSheds and I?....... will you as hell as like!.[:|]
"some of you posters know sod all"??  As opposed to your good self Wiz, who, of course knows all.  I some how doubt that if Mr Gow (if signed) starts banging them in we will be getting any sort of apology either. No??? Didn''t think so.
 16. According to the article, Glenn is quoted as saying  "He will find it difficult to get into the team that I have in my mind." This would certainly suggest that he already has one or two players already lined up for the left hand side of midfield.  Possibly Hooligan and one other? Unless of course he rates young Eagle above Lappin.  Either way I would have thought it unlikely he would start proclaiming a player surplus to requirements if he hadn''t already found a replacement.
 17. Hopefully, with the buy out clause in place, they can''t up the price in order to pay Livvy off.  I guess we''ll just have to be patient if we really want him.  Makes you wonder where all the "Hooligan HAS signed" people have got their info from though. [^o)]
 18.
Where did you hear this then?
Erm, just click "home page"
 19. That would appear to be that then!  If it''s in the hands of FIFA and they''re taking their time I can''t see it happening any time soon.
 20. 1981 v''s Derby.  I was on crutches after 3 months in hospital so my old man took me.  We were stood in the Barclay and Mark Barham scored a corker, top corner, after 48 seconds (if I remember correctly). My dad absolutely sh*t himself as he''d never been to a football match before and wasn''t expecting the crowd surge, he panicked, picked me up and dived for the aisle.  Of course I didn''t care and the stewards thought it was hilarious especially as it happened 4 times as we won 4-1!!
 21. Oh Bu*ger.  I thought I''d checked far enough down the list but I''ve just noticed someone else started this earlier, sorry peeps.
 22. Hmmmmmmm, not really very "optimistic" are you?  Have you thought of changing your name?  Give it time my friend, it''s still early.
 23. Now wouldn''t that be a great signing!  Nolberto Solano is looking for another club after being released by West Ham.  Unfortunately I would think it very unlikely that he won''t be snapped up by another Premiership outfit but he''s just the sort of player I''d love to see here. Probably way too high on the wages but with no transfer fee you never know.  Can''t remember if he ever played under Roeder at Newcastle but there may be a connection there. Whaddya think?
 24.
for once, hope you are right, legend, and a good friend.
Buddha old chap. If he''s a good friend could you just give him a quick ring and ask him for us? Would love to see him back.
 25. Awww bless, you read it.  And you said you wouldn''t. Thank you. [;)]
