1.
Time for people to pipe down about Grant Holt now. Yes we miss a leader on the pitch, but Holt is past his best and not up to this league anymore. 2 goals in 10 appearances in the Championship for Wigan show that, especially as one was a penalty. Holt said he wanted to move up north, but the Premier League was always his dream. If he felt capable of playing in this league for another season he would have done. He didn''t though, because he new his legs were going. He had time out last season with a hamstring injury, more time out with a back injury, and time out this season already with a knee injury. His body is failing him, he isn''t the player that he was a couple of years ago, and I''d be surprised if he was still playing in two years unless it is a swansong for Carlisle in league one. Time to move on. Great leader, no longer great player, end of story.
Time for you to wind your neck in. We will talk about who we want when we want. Especially the legend that is Grant Holt!
2. I''m in! Been saying it all season. I can''t lay my hands on a pidge but I do have some paint.
3. I''m getting really bad at this timing thingy, apologies again. Bayern Munich home win for me too this week please.
4. Well bu**er me. And there was me thinking every team should be doing that! Oh well. I thought our lads could only do it for approximately 83 minutes per game. One word "fitness!!"
5. You obviously didn''t go then did you. We mauled them. 31 shots and almost total dominance is a mauling. We just didn''t put the f''in ball I the f''in net.
6. But I even hate ME right now, and the bad me is arguing with the good me over whether he should stay or go !! I''m soooo confused 😳
7. Absolutely priceless. I actually smiled for the first time since 3.00pm
8. Watching SSN this morning covering the build up to the days fixtures, each of the pundits (and no, I don''t want comments on how sh1t they are) stated that on recent performances Norwich are (were) in a ''''false position''''. ''They'' should have won easily last week, could, and possibly should, have beaten Chesea, were unlucky not to get a point against Arsenal and are (were) only 3 points off Swansea in 9th. They then, unanimously agreed that we would get stuffed today. Does this result, which we all expected, perhaps not in the manner in which we capitulated, mean that the position is any different? When you look at the enforced changes made today, most notably no Alex Tettey, who has been outstanding, is it any wonder we got our arses handed to us on a plate. Next week we have an eminently winnable game at home. albeit with BJ (probably) instead of Tettey, and the possible return of Redmond. RvW and Snodgrass. I would say I agree with said pundits and would give CH 3 more games to prove his worth. Anything less than two wins out of 3 ................??????
9.
Its not a case of seem to want to move on we had no choice Lambert wanted to leave as did Holt . Nothing you or i could have done about it SO YOU HAVE TO MOVE ON PERIOD no good harping on about them.
NO WE DON''T. YOU ARE NOT MY MOTHER!!
10. On his day he can be a fantastic player. He should never have been made captain though. Apart from the fact that he is often injured, he is severely lacking in form this season. Whether or not that is a result of the burden of captaincy affecting his game we can''t really tell. By making him Captain however, Hughton has made it almost impossible to drop him or relieve him of the captaincy with admitting that he has made a huge error. I also believe our stand out defender in each of his last few performances has been young Ryan Bennett, who consequently can''t get a look in. If Hughton stays, he has a massive decision to make.
11. Someone latin/spanish etc, with a bit of flair and a lot of tactical nous. It seems to be working wonders for So''ton.
12.
Dont even go there di*k head!!
There''s only one D1ckhead, and it ain''t the OP
13.
i think it is normal day after to go in massage / warm downs review an stretching ? might be wrong though
Erm, bit late for a warm down.
14. B*****ks. Just give the job to Neil.
15. Late again, sorry. Napoli home win for me please. Good luck all.
16.
He''ll be on about the Illuminati and Chemtrails next.
Lol😉
17.
Sorry people, just can''t see why so many people want Huhgton to go after this Saturday, this sums it up for me, we played well in the first 45, we made sure we did not get caught out in the first 15 minutes of the second half and we finished strong! We were good, we played well and should have won........BUT we could have played another 90 minutes and we would not have scored! Snodder, Hooper and Pilks ran strieght lines all game, so easy to defend it wasn''t untill Redmond Came on we actually looked like we might score! Reading all the threads we are no better or worse off than pre match Saturday, just most fans feel it''s another 2 points dropped me included. But it''s time for Hughton to do something, we can''t just carrry on like this making excuses and saying we should have won! One big thing Elmander was pretty ineffective in his prime for Bolton and for us he reminds me of the time we signed John Hartson, no pace, no power and nothing about him, really don''t see the point of signing this guy! Next week we can write thing off and if we get something then great, but time for pace up top, time for Redmond and Murphey for me.
Sorry Indy, but if the lines Pilks, Hoops etc were running were so easy to defend against then how was it we had around 30 shots? If Marshall hadn''t had the game of his life we would have won about 5-0. No one can complain about the attacking intent on Saturdays performance. If anything the only complaint would be that we are no where near clinical enough in front of goal. The chances were created, we just didn''t bury them.
18. [quote user="The New Boy (Le Juge). The ref did the right thing. It would have been a disgraceful way to win a game, and would result in every other team in the league being willing to do the same to us (if indeed it doesn''t anyway). I''m 100% glad that he disallowed it. Even Fer looked glad that he did, after realising that it went down like a lead balloon even with the home crowd. quote] Judging from Fer''s post match comments he wasn''t at all sorry, and good on him. We need players with his attitude. It was a goal. It should have stood and the ref should be sacked. Those who say they''d rather be in the championship than win like that, go and support our neighbours down the road because that''s where they are. £60 million and the survival of our club! There was nothing wrong with what Leroy did and the ref bottled it....... again.
19.
I think Norwich were hamstrung by their debt to a greater degree than most realise. We''ve had to make do and mend until recently, not really having had the chance to maintain a consistent strategy. I don''t think changing the manager would really be wise at this point, especially since we''re only a win away from mid-table.
Complete b*****ks. Read it back and think about what you''ve said.
20. Before the last game we were calling him Hughtons love child. Guess I''m not the only one who thinks so.
21. Darn it! Back to my usual being very late, sorry Mandie. I''m going for a home win for Olympiacos vs OFI, as OFI haven''t won a game all season (though that''s bound to change now innit)
