1.
Oh dear. Trust me, if you break you leg you are not ''rolling around'' in any way at all. Surest way to spot the divers? Rolling over 5 times back again 3 more.
2. Some very bizarre ratings here. Personally I thought Olsson was very good, liked his link with Garrido who, apart from a dodgy 5 mins in the second half, was also very good. Wes was superb, usual sporadic give aways from trying too hard but otherwise kept us going forward. BJ was fantastic today, nuff said. Back four commanded well, couple of dodgy passes but relatively untroubled. Witts was very good second half, why some people think he''s slow is beyond me. Fer, going to be the signing of the season I think. Redmond, rough diamond, needs a bit of polish. Hooper. yes I was a doubter but I think he''ll prove me wrong and RVW seems to be taking a bit of time to settle, as expected, but showed some lovely touches. No real bad points at all. As some have said Tettey wasn''t great first half but was very good second half. Oh and Elliott Bennet looked very sharp when he came on. All in all I thought it was typical pre season, a bit rusty in parts, especially with the new boys needing time with the team but some lovely interplay.
3. Well Mr Brigham. I hope you were at the game today. Not only 2 superbly taken goals but for the most part Young Bradley had us ticking. Playing probably more forward of Tettey he was everywhere and I have to say his passing was way way better than last year, perhaps someone has helped him pre season? Easily the best and most dominant player on the park today with the usual steel combined with some lovely intricate passing combinations. Suffice to say Mr Brigham that, if this is the new improved Bradley Johnson, I hope he requests that you print off your OP and, together with a large dose of humble pie, shove it down your throat. No one ever said that a player cannot learn and improve himself.
4.
OTFBFC wrote - I actually can''t think of one successful team across Europe last year that didn''t play a variation of 4-5-1... 442 is a variation of 451, just as 4411 is also a variation of 451. 4231 is also a variation of 451. All formations are variants of other formations. The key is not what you label it, but how the team is organised. If the team are organised and know what they are doing, they will adapt their system according to what is happening on the pitch. Subs can be used to alter the focus of the team, but they still have to know what they are doing, whatever the system. The play will ebb and flow throughout a game and a good team will adapt to play in whatever way will be most effective at the time - or if they don''t it''s up to the manager to tweak things as necessary. As soon as you label the team 442 or 451, you are restricting it - it has to have some flexibility in there.
Bingo LDC. It''s got bugger all with what you, me or anyone calls it, it''s how the players are coached and how they react on the park. For example, if you are supposedly playing 4-4-2 and one of your strikers suddenly finds himself 10 yards behind the other, does that mean you have just switched to playing 4-4-1-1? It''s just a name to give the pundits and commentators something to say. I''d like to think that professional footballers as high as the PL are taught to react to a changing game.
5.
2-5 fav to join us according to this Juve sitehttp://www.tuttojuve.com/altre-notizie/corsport-partenza-quagliarella-quotata-a-140-150741
Yay!! Thank you Ricardo for posting something remotely regarding the thread subject. Now kindly stop interrupting the juvenile bitchfest and post something equally constructive elsewhere, there''s a good fellow.
6. A late plane to Brighton International Airport? That''ll be the regular "Red-eye" then. Probably to sign Quag, who took the similarly regularly scheduled flight from Italy to meet CH, and probably have a medical at the equally famous Brighton Memorial Sports Science Foundation Hospital. Or are we just re-signing someone .........?
7. Bugger me, somebody''s swallowed a dictionary.
8.
My only critism of these games is that CH has been talking alot about the side gelling together,For that to happen they need to be playing togther,Our better players and the players I feel will be starting against Everton, have not played much together.
Very true CDM.  We certainly haven''t had a whiff of a starting line up yet, but I think injuries have played a part.  You would think CH would start with Turner and Seb, unless we sign another CB. And no Pilks at the moment too.  Still a while to go in the transfer window so a starting XI is anyone''s guess really. I expect there''ll be a thread once a week, at least, for all our selections.  Judging from tonight, if we started Saturday, Hoops Hooly and Fer would start.  No goals for RvW yet though.
9. Well I''m glad people are saying its the formation. I missed the first half and his second half is pretty woeful. We''ve hardly touched the ball and they''d all over us. Mmmmmm. Wish I''d seen the first 45.
10. Didn''t McNasty state that they would look at expansion after 3 years in the premier league? That would mean if we stayed up this year .....
11. Liverpool hopefully, please, please, please let it be Liverpool.
12.
And Snodders has a dynamite right foot doesn''t he, but plays on the erm ..... Right???
13. Well it''s all over Sky Spors News as their main headline now, so I would hope it''s a done deal. Wasn''t too keen on this move myself but now he is apparently ours I''ll back him all the way. Let''s hope he lives up to the hype. A plus point is that he obviously wants to play of us in the PL and is not in it for the money as I doubt we could match QPR''s wages.
14. Are there no shirts available in the Canary stores at the moment? I was hoping to get one tomorrow.
15.
Made me chuckle.....even more so when i saw people taking it seriously.
I think we can hear a big WHOOOOOSH!! Lol
16. I hope he stays and so should every Norwich fan. You don''t cut out the heart and expect to keep breathing.
17. All of them !!! We would not be where we are now without Grant Holt. God I hope he stays.
18. He wouldn''t last 5 minutes on a Rugby pitch. You obviously have no idea if you think that being a violent thug is a quality needed to play the game.
19. Subbuteo every day for me. We used to have a league. A game of skill, tactics and erm ........ Glue !!
