  1. Recent history has shown them be able to wiggle themselves out of trouble. Lots to play for still.
  2. AJ wrote the following post at 09 Apr 2016 11:51 AM: My line-up for today would be unchanged from the side that started against Newcastle as long as there''s no knocks or niggles to factor in. I think having Bamford/Jerome and Redmond to bring on off the bench could be crucial to change the game late on if required Agreed. At this time of the season, having the experience of Matt Jarvis in the starting XI on the right side has far more pros than cons.
  3. mrs miggins wrote the following post at 25 Mar 2016 7:47 PM: Janmaat is also out for them as well I believe. As long as Mbokani starts upfront I''ll be happy. Could not agree more.
  4. Windows, ha ha ha ha. If anything, it''s very good at not responding and the circling blue doughnut is a nice touch. Linux or Apple lads... Linux or Apple
  5. Highland Canary wrote the following post at 26 Mar 2016 12:25 PM: Jerome and throw money at a proven goal scorer, such as Hooper, if we''re in the champs. If we''re in the Prem we don''t have any of that level at the club so we need to start from scratch. Avoiding the drop, I cannot see how City can afford to start from scratch. Depending on the fee/wages, Mbokani would be a decent CF. Jerome has had plenty of chances in the PL, his finishing is spotty so a spot on the sub''s bench due to his experience. Not so sure about the Chelsea lad at this level but if the price is reasonable, would be a good shout. That would leave 1 new CF to find. Lot''s of decisions ahead for the club.
  6. Making Plans wrote the following post at 25 Mar 2016 4:03 PM: Well unless he starts performing like a PL player, and should we go down, then £6m looks like a big ask £6m is the release clause. If it''s not met, he play in the fizzy pop league should relegation come.
  7. Samwam27 wrote the following post at 25 Mar 2016 1:58 PM: £6m+ (if we go down) isn''t bad. SO far he hasn''t just his £8m+ price tag at all imo To be fair, he''s not match fit and has some little niggles to this point. He''s exactly what Norwich City needs to build on to. I quite see him or Howson as the next captain.
  8. morty wrote the following post at 25 Mar 2016 3:43 PM: I vote "Bor stays". I don''t think you should be driven out of here by hypocritical whingers. Seconded but I disagree with his newest avatar.
  9. Honestly, I''m more concerned about when the PL house of cards is going to fall. The system (FA, UEFA, FIFA, IOC, ect. ect. ect.) is about as bogus as IDC''s newly found ethics. The Brazil Olympics will probably be the spark and this "sporting" mafia will hopefully hit the floor. Delia et al are probably the right type of ownership to have for the next few years.
  10. Jeremy Borbyn wrote the following post at 24 Mar 2016 8:19 AM: After the first glass, you don''t notice the difference. Thanks Bor, just need to source it now. Maybe I''ll give Houston a ring since it has to be a yank thing. ;-p

  12. Gainer the Gopher wrote the following post at 19 Mar 2016 12:02 PM: Oh yes please. Let me know where you''ll be and when, and I can guarantee you there will be quite a crowd from this messageboard who would like to meet you in person. - bonobor Nah, just you. Nah, I''ll be there just like Bor stated. Let me guess, you''ll be flying Air Google Maps?
  13. Ruddy Pinto Martin Klose Olsson Howson O''Neill Jarvis Naismith/Bamford Brady Mbokani
  14. wcorkcanary wrote the following post at 13 Mar 2016 10:16 AM: TTHAT tackle was Stupid of the highest order, but apart from that, he''s been outstanding for us. Senior pro. Well said.
  15. If we''d only kept Howie.. wrote the following post at 13 Mar 2016 12:38 PM: "The whole concept of carbon footprints is nonsensical fantasy"? Ermmmm "carbon footprint" is just a measure - or do you also think "miles per hour" is also a non-nonsensical fantasy? I think you are referring to the ongoing debate around potential long term climate change as a result of average carbon footprint being beyond the biosphere ability to process excess carbon dioxide? Whatever your view on this (which could be the same as mine) - doesn''t mean the concept of a "carbon footprint" is fantasy. Don''t fall for the little sh1te''s pea brain fluff or as they say in Lucian Kweyol ''Ou ka pale kouyon''. The only fantasy is it''s belief that it has any connection to our fine city.
  16. It will still be an easy 6 points against the scum though. Would we only need one sub on the bench for Jarvis like the old days?
  17. GJL Mid-Norfolk Canary wrote the following post at 02 Mar 2016 10:25 PM: "his scores are down" ?!?!? For f**ks sake , get out there and f***ing play, bloody hell, in my day a squad of about 16 players would play a 46 game league campaign plus cup competitions (no resting). jesus christ. You can''t be comparing the eras gone by with todays footballers. Back in the day, the lads would report for pre-season training 2 stone overweight and their level of athleticism and pace would be that of a John Hartson v Ronaldo.
  18. Andy G wrote the following post at 15 Feb 2016 1:07 PM: I thought that for once we had a pretty decent ref! He wasn''t wearing any squads colours and gave plenty of fair decisions. Not often this season have i said that about a ref. usually we''re getting everything go against us! Not sure of that. The non calls for the two wild elbows to the face of Klose by that walking sick note, Andy Carroll may have been a game changer. Calling fouls is one thing but dangerous play is another and there should have been a red card in there.
  19. Hairy Canary wrote the following post at 11 Feb 2016 9:08 AM: We have brought in better yes, but what we are missing is Johnson''s drive and guts. Bit of a sad state of affairs as that is the least you would expect from everyone. Drive and guts only gets you so far when you''re short on skill. Not all players have huge extroverted characteristics on the pitch but if you are looking for one then I think that Naismith is more than a step up from Bradley.
  20. Keeping Rudd as the starter would be fine if the club is preparing for relegation or were in the Chump this year. However, the stakes are extremely high to remain in this league. The team has enough time to get themselves out of the bottom three but it''s evaporating quickly. Changes were made in January and the players have to produce NOW as they have used up all of their mulligans. Ruddy has the experience, Rudd does not. Ruddy for me.
  21. Wouldn''t that be AN as the problem rather than Mbokani?
  22. Fair enough but I''ll go with: GK-Ruddy BACK 4-Pinto Bennett Klose Olsson DM-Howson Tettey AM- Voo Naismith Brady CF-Mbokani
  23. You are correct, Ron Obvious is the problem and until such time he''s released outright, there''s no hope.
  24. Ron, I know some won''t like this but I don''t think Wes should be anywhere near the starting XI. Yes he''s fun to watch on his day but he''s too lightweight, hits the floor too often, gives the ball away far too much and can only really play one position, in behind the striker.. He seems to have carried on with Holt''s famous fall downs, which incidently, got noticed pretty quick in the PL and often ignored by the ref. He''s clearly not the player to play just behind Mbokani as that spot is now Naismiths.
