  2. AJ wrote the following post at 08 Jun 2016 8:47 AM: Not sure how I feel about this. I''ve liked the fact we usually do deals with local businesses. ^This. Love to see Lotus back.
  3. Row D Seat 7 wrote the following post at 06 Jun 2016 6:42 PM: Not after his bullying of youth players at Villa... And the hiring of Roy Keane thereafter for that calming influence reputation he is blessed with. IMO there still seems to be a big stank about the outcome of that fiasco.
  4. So loads of punters and moaners see Villa and Newcastle go straight back up with Norwich City maybe in the playoff spots. Yet somehow, bit members from the Norwich City squad would somehow strengthen these massive clubs. Go figure. Someone quick, slap a £10m price tag on em.
  5. Indy wrote the following post at 05 Jun 2016 2:37 PM: As for my comment of old guard it was aimed at contract offered to O''Neil & Whitts while the comment was by AN himself to freshen things up. This is a team that has been in the Premier League four out of the last five seasons. I would think that the term ''freshen things up'' is more of an indicator of adding some depth rather than a major overhaul. If Redders and Brady want to move on, slap a higher price tag on them. We have young players who could be useful in the Chumps off the bench, but I would take experience over youth at this time. If we only lose those two, then I still believe we have a squad who will contend for the automatics. If we lose another 2 or 3 then that changes everything.
  6. Somehow, the name Christian Benteke come to mind.
  7. Katie Borkins wrote the following post at 05 Jun 2016 8:58 AM: There are similarities, both appearing to be from the shallow end of the gene pool. Speaking about the shallow end of the gene pool, can you please put bag over your avatar. It''s scaring the children.
  8. Katie Borkins wrote the following post at 05 Jun 2016 8:45 AM: It''s amazing really, the number of coffee shops springing up everywhere while all these pubs are shutting down. Amazingly sad.
  9. This sounds like the rodent from Texas. If it is, I was the one who offered to introduce your face to the kerb outside Yellows. "Don''t Mess with Texas" pfffttt. If not, please disregard.
  10. daly wrote the following post at 01 Jun 2016 5:54 PM: What a shame Greggs moved to Norwich I''m not, their sandwiches are very tasty.
  11. That''s putting it mildly LC. Vanwink, I apologise for having misunderstood your intent for the original post. I got caught up on the ''thorough study is now surely overdue'' portion.
  12. Not sure another thorough study is required. Additional study yes but he effects of long term head injury in sport is running through the courts as we speak. Violent impacts upon the head cause damage no matter what the sport. Either the laws of football, rugby ect. change to reflect the higher risk of brain damage or they don''t. It''s a wonder more parents don''t associate the risk of permanent head injury to their children. Rather sad to be honest.

  14. Hairy Canary wrote the following post at 29 May 2016 9:04 AM: You can''t see why someone would be slagged off for describing posters as retarded? He simply stated ''some people''. Do you deny that some people/posters on here now or in the past are/were complete bellends? His post was a valid statement of events. It seems odd that you only focus on two words and not the intent of the whole post. “You are not entitled to your opinion. You are entitled to your informed opinion. No one is entitled to be ignorant.” - Harlan Ellison
  15. craigbrown2015 wrote the following post at 28 May 2016 10:51 PM: @HOOP588 Gutted for my old team mates and fans #takingitthewrongway Some people are so thick & retarded - Hooper has a soft spot for Norwich. He said "...what a shame..." yeah that is a tweet which was sent after Norwich were relegated and beat Watford at Carrow Road. Obviously he meant what a shame Norwich have been relegated - meaning he was gutted Norwich went down. Hooper has respect for Norwich - because he used to represent our club as a player. People have accused him of being glad & taking delight in Norwich going down. Clearly that wasn''t the case. I respect & remember Hooper for the goals he scored & contribution he made to Norwich going up & gaining promotion. It pisses me off all the * & lies that people keep spreading about him. Fair comment craigbrown2015. Not sure why you would be slagged off for your descriptor of "some people". ''If the shoe fits...'' comes to mind.
  16. CanaryOne wrote the following post at 21 Apr 2016 12:46 AM: Its about being a realist or living in some make believe fantasy world , anybody with two eyes can see we are not good enough for this league never have been under the Smiths leadership and never will be . Um, the club has been in the PL for 4 out of the last 5 seasons. You''re a real Alvin Einsteen.
  17. TIL 1010 wrote the following post at 14 Apr 2016 8:57 AM: I fear the worst again as far as his mental health is concerned. Tragic. ''Tragic'' is definitely the word TIL.
  18. Lessingham Canary wrote the following post at 13 Apr 2016 10:08 PM: Thats business, less demand = less staff required, price of failure for such a "big" club. TBF even Hull made quite a number of staff redundant last year, as we did the year previous. Sorry LC, but that''s a load of b0ll0cks (said respectfully). The club will be run the same manner in pretty much every aspect in the Chumps as in the PL. Does the Villa have 2x the required staff to be in the PL? Will the players now be responsible for cleaning and mending their club attire, the physio replace by a first aider, stewards replaced by members of Britain First? In fact, how much money will be saved in ''redundant staffing'' when compared to a relegation clause in the player''s contracts? Laying off staff is just another one of big business'' way to say FU to their present and now former workers.
  19. No Klose No Survival wrote the following post at 14 Apr 2016 10:57 AM: But then if you have a referee who supports Man United for example, but wants to referee in the Premiership and do the best they can in their job, then they''ll just lie and not disclose the fact they support said team. Better yet, why can they not perform their duties ethically in the first place? If it''s gotten to the point where any ref''s decision making is being called into question due to be a supporter of a football club, then it''s high time that the human element is removed from the sport. Does the technology exist or is the simple answer to have a second off-field ref (as mentioned) who is a supporter of the on-field ref''s rival club?
  20. Must admit that I was surprised at the tone of his conversation.
  21. Agreed. The monies are being distributed to a wide range of organisations which is pure class.
  22. KoromaCrab wrote the following post at 12 Apr 2016 6:07 PM: Seems a lot of people were complaining about the layout of the store being hard to navigate around. Agreed, if they would have followed the layout at Thorns, they might have had a chance.
  23. TIL 1010 wrote the following post at 09 Apr 2016 1:02 PM: Posters were getting worried when Big Sam went to Sunderland last October that he would turn them around and over 5 months later it still looks that he has an awful lot of work on his hands. Big Sam is also (my opinion) a better gaffer than the lot that kept them up in previous years. Just like Martinez at Wigan, there''s 18 points on the table for Norwich and 21 for the other two. We''ve had our slide already and taking 7 out of 9 in the last three, hopefully this is City''s year for the great escape.
  24. Firstly, he needs to just learn how to smile and relax. Then we''ll see that he''s actually human, albeit one more in the list of poor refs in the Prem. I''ve always kind of thought that Mike Dean is best of the current lot.
