  1. haha naa he used to support man.utd at school but since hes been a pro he grew out of supporting them so he just supports who he plays for basically. Was always difficult at everton because of howard but he''s only 23 and this is his opportunity
  2. it will be official on monday morning mate
  3. i can confirm this is true because he is one of my best mates, known him since primary school and he is a quality keeper so everyone get behind him please. Time to forget about forster, john is just as good!
  4. rather than everyone arguing whether it was right or wrong lets put it all into perspective. I''ll be honest i used to shout from the stands everytime he made a mistake but knowing he always gave 100% i warmed to him like most of us did. Yes, the doc has been a norwich legend and had his best season by far by a country mile. But come on, the only decent teams in league 1 were basically in the top 6-8, the rest of them pretty much dire so has he really been tested? I believe Lambert has made the decision probably not on performance alone, perhaps cutting the wage bill so he can bring in experienced and competitive championship players. I was watching the champ play off games this week and you look at their defence, both teams had strong, quick players. Although i love ''Ginger Pele'' he hasn''t really got the speed for that league for us to be challenging. Alot of people doubted lambert when he came in but he proved everyone wrong and im sure he will make the best decisions for the team. The only thing i disagree with is similar to the roeder-hucks decision. We wasnt told beforehand and never got a chance to give the doc a proper send-off. Good luck to him and im sure many teams will be after him and hopefully if he gets the chance to come back to fortress carrow road we will all give him a huge standing ovation. As for the other victims, cureton is ****, mcveigh though i love him he''s too old and wasnt even good enough for league one and the other two i cant even remember their names do that says it all. I believe Rose, Russell Martin, Hughes and maybe even Lappin will also struggle next season because they are all too slow on the ball and at champ level you get found out. IN LAMBERT WE TRUST!!!!
  5. This isn''t a rumour i was just wondering with southampton being stuck in league one again would a player of his calibre want to play the likes of yeovil and hartlepool? Would he be a good addition to our squad or is he too similar to Holty?
  6. to be fair to them over the season they deserve to be 2nd but thats as far as my congrats go. It really annoyed me yesterday on 5 live 606 that it was dominated by gloating leeds fans who thought grayson was a crap manager 2 weeks ago but suddenly he was a god and also it seemed like everyone had forgotten where the real celebrations were and that was us lifting the trophy which we fully deserve. Leeds are a well supported club but their fans are no way as passionate as us which is proved by our average attendance. If we had 38,000 capacity it would be sold out every home game. Anyway, im looking forward to giving them another pasting next season. PAUL LAMBERTS GREEN ARMY!!!
  7. so im taking it Gloucester road is where its at? Anyone making a weekend of it?three of us are already YELLOWSSSS!!
  8. Whos going on saturday? What pubs are best to go to beforehand and is anyone staying in bristol and making a weekend of it? party time!!
  9. where is everyone thats going next week planning to go before the game? also three of us are making a weekend of it and spending the saturday night in bristol anyone else up for a party?
  10. We can now use the top of the league chant to sing this wheyyyyyyy!!! Was so annoyed i couldnt get a ticket as im a die hard fan like the 3,200 that were there and many others that couldnt go but when that final whistle went i was running around my garden screaming and close to tears after what happened last season the emotion was amazing!! Well done all the team and paul lambert for a remarkable season!! Please dont leave us lambert celtic would be a waste of time and norwich is more of a challenge!!! Lets bring on them scummers from ipshite!! WE ARE CHAMPIONSHIP SAY WE ARE CHAMPIONSHIP!!!!
  11. What a disappointing night last night, the atmosphere beforehand was brilliant but i think 3,000 of us felt let down a bit after the support we gave. Ok its been a brilliant season, lambert is our best manager since worthys early days and i would rather be 6 points clear than 6 points behind but the form over the last 2-3 games worries me a bit. With no target man, last night all we kept doing was hoofing it forward hoping for a lucky flick and to be honest even though we hit the post twice we didn''t deserve anything from the game. Whats happened to the pass and move game that we associate ourselves with. Without wes we don''t seem to have a player in the midfield that can create and saturday is a very difficult game now. Personally, over the last few weeks i''ve felt russell martin has been poor and although being a lappin fan he isn''t playing well either so why not bring in spillane and mcnamee. As for nelson, we all know he hasn''t got any skill and just hoofs it but to be fair to him he gets his body in the way and i don''t think whitbread would be fit enough. But doc up front is an option?the last ten mins was our best spell! I still think we''ll go up because we only need to win our home games but the players look edgy at the moment and without holt and wes we do look a bit average.
