Sargent was not injured and is now fully fit according to Wagner and the way Sheffield Wednesday were turning the screw on our defence for the last twenty or so minutes it was obvious it needed help so why wait until the 89th minute to introduce Duffy ?

Wagner and his tombola substitutions and tactics last night reminded me that every few games he shows why he is not the man to take the club forward.

After the game Wagner said the substitution of Sargent was tactical and not a fitness issue and what on earth was the substitution of bringing on Duffy all about in the 89th minute when the damage had been done. It should have happened once we conceded the first goal. Ten away games this season in which we have taken the lead have resulted in 24 dropped points. The big picture is that some questionable tactics and substitutions have caused that.

Every now and again Wagner reminds me why he is not the man to move this club forward.
