1. Yes haynes~hater, it was an embarrassing £295 for one person in the picture and £395 for two in the same picture. Very expensive, I will be the first to admit and I am very grateful to my family for paying for me to go. It was a great gift, being given the freedom of the ground and able to speak to the players and staff, a very memorable experience and one that will not be forgotten. The cost also covers a framed and signed (by the first team and staff) picture of me in the squad which I will be able to collect from Carrow Road within a few weeks!

  2.
good on you beefy,

    was roedy wearing bike clips???
Haha I was sure not to ask this or anything near the subject to him! I am happy (and also a little relieved) to say he was not wearing bike clips, just the white polo and shorts, though apparently, according to the two lads showing us around the ground, part of the reason the photo call was delayed (besides from the mentioned weather) was because Glenn was late and he had to get changed so maybe he was wearing them before hand!

  3. As some of you may know, tomorrow (Tuesday 5th) I am off to Carrow Road at 1pm for the annual photo call. This is a Canary Experience and basically means I will enjoy a ground tour, light refreshments before meeting Glenn and the first team squad before being photographed with them in the squad photo. At the end of this I will recieve a framed picture of myself in the squad photo, signed by the first team. I absolutely cannot wait, I feel like a five year old again.

The point of me posting this on here is to ask if anyone has any questions they would like me to put forward to Glenn or any of the squad, I already plan to ask if we are signing Shola Ameobi from Newcastle, but I would be more than happy to ask questions and post the answers when I get in and log on to here to you dear posters.

    Fire away,

    Cheers,

I am positive, but I am also human. If I see something happening at the club which concerns me, believe me I will not bury my head in the sand, I''m not stupid. I was disappointed to see Cullum and his millions get rejected and the board are definately in the wrong over that if all is to be believed. It is, in fact narrow-minded people like yourself who drag this club down with your pure negativity, I mean, you''ve clogged this thread up with your pointless imput. Ok, agree with the highlighted bit. Secondly no way am I negative about the team or GR, or the supporters for that matter. If you check my post on the "where will we finish" thread, I think I''ve gone for 10th. Last season I lost 40 quid in bets to local scummers that we would finish above them. Where posters such as you and I differ is I WILL NOT put up with being taken for a mug by the current Board without shouting about it at every opportunity. I will shout my head off for the team from start to finish but i will support any moves to oust this lot as they are the true narrow minded people, ie they can''t look further than their bank balance.

ps - I''ve got quite a nice life thanks, all I need is for my football club to spend some money on a top striker to make life perfect.Big Smile [:D]

So basically we agree, I''ve voiced my positivity, and at the same time noted my unhappiness at how the board have handled certain situations, which is exactly the same as you. I just don''t see how "the club need fans like me like a hole in the head." I am in no way offened, just baffled at how you make such a statement.

  13.
Worried , we have never been this weak up front before , concede 1 and we are as good as beat .

First league game of last season vs. PNE:

If I remember correctly we started up front with Chris Brown and Dion Dublin, are you seriously saying you are more concerned about Cureton/Lupoli/Koroma/ +1? than Donkey Brown and Dion?

(ps. I know Dion is a legend but his legendary status was not confirmed at that point of his City career.)

  14. We''ve made ten signings over the summer, they seem to have joined at different times, a lot of them coming within the past 14 days so gelling as a team has been difficult. Despite what some on this board have said, we have made some good signings, players that can certainly do a job in this league. Wes Hoolahan has made a positive start in Canary colours, notably his performance vs. Spurs. Sammy Clingan has looked sharp in the centre of the park, he looks like he has the winning mentality buried deep into his heart. We know Ryan Bertrand and what his style of play is, we were all begging for him to be signed for another year at the end of last season, we got our wish. John Kennedy, at one time deemed as one of the best players to come out of Scotland in the last thirty or fourty years is with us for a few months, once he gets into the swing of things again (atmittedly we will have to be patient with this) he could prove to be just as effective as Martin Taylor last term. Stefanovic is proven at the highest level of the English game, he could definately do a job in this league at his age. Arturo Lupoli, again on loan, is a scorer of great goals, not a great goal scorer, looking at his record that is clear for all to see, but I think with the capture of a big striker (Roeder has mentioned he hopes to get one in for Cov on Saturday) he could certainly reap the rewards. Omar Koroma has a glowing report from one of the best talent spotters in the country in old ''arry, he could be a hidden gem. Despite what people have said over pre season, I do think our squad is better in quality than last season. Yes, Hucks is gone, but the new generation is here, and we need to back each and every player when they step onto the pitch.

As you can probably tell, I am an optimist, I back Roeder and I back the team. Whether we can make the huge step up of a play off push after last season is very much in question, I hope for a big improvement though, a top half finish is well within our grasp, and if we finish higher, then congratulations again go to Roeder for working magic two seasons on the trot.

So taking all things into consideration, with a few days to go until Cov, are you optimistic about this season or worried?

    Cheers,

    King Beef.

  15. We won''t be seeing any of Rusty up front in the league (unless we are worryingly short), he''s a solid midfielder, I think his performance last night won his place in the first XI on Saturday.

And I don''t think we need two target men, maybe another on loan but two signed for a sizeable fee would be a waste of money.

  16. I absolutely agree with you, it is dead and we should look forward to the new campaign, I''m one of the few positive ones on here at the moment! But I thought that seeing as Doncaster is yet to comment on the saga, and him being someone who is supposedly honest and very happy to talk to the fans, it would have been mentioned at least.

Oh well, cheers for the other info.
