In the match thread, morky Leander it is patently obvious Elmander isn''t here to score goals. Can you imagine the outcry if this philosophy had been made public when we brought him in? Maybe that''s why the Turkish club put him out on loan; he was scoring too many goals so they needed him to hone his not-scoring skills elsewhere. .

All it took for us to have a chance were two shockingly bad defensive blunders. It was perfectly reasonable to expect a third. Because weren''t going to score without that happening. First time ever I didn''t cheer a goal when the first went in. The fans there were pretty quiet too. Even Elmander seemed unsure how to react. .

The OP had me excited about the strong possibility of a draw, but everyone since then has restored my doubt.

Normally I like the draws to keep us in the running for a climb up the table for extra money based on finishing position. This late in this season, I want those below us to keep losing. Survival may depend on one or two of them having a late run of good results, but if we''re out of reach, it won''t matter. I''d now take survival over getting voted off the Prem. at the last minute.

First of all, I didn''t claim to have comic ability beyond an understanding of it based on previous ecperiences. Ron obvious, if you think I said otherwise, you are deluded. Or stupid. Probably the latter. Secondly, I get a lot of compliments on here for making humorous comments, so if you think I can''t be funny enough to get others to take time out of their days to send an appreciated acknowledgement of that, you must be deluded. Or ignorant. Or stupid. I make similar compliments to funny comments, but most people laugh and move on quietly. So for each acknowledgement, there are likely dozens of others who enjoyed it, too.
