  1. Pretty much every home town team in every sport says their fans are the best in the world which makes me think not a whole lot of research goes into such lofty proclamations.
  2. I like the 3rd one as it''s a good blend of Texas and England which will make it a bit more obvious to onlookers what it''s about.
  3. The top half of Division 3 (league 1) maybe.
  4. It''s more entertaining when the morties (morty''s flunkies and toadies) are in attendance to defend his hypocrisy. Well done, losers! .
  5. I struggle to remember us having a bit of luck, a penalty that wasnt, a flukey goal etc. Both goals yesterday, but especially the first, were flukes. .
  6. On one hand, we have more clean sheets, but on the other hand, we''ve given up more clean sheets than a pay-by-the-hour motel.
  7. Most fans are human with human emotions and reactions. Not making changes at halftime deserved a boo especially from those in the emotionally charged atmosphere at the game. I would be far more concerned if there had been no booing or even cheering when ineptitude is displayed. It means hope is lost or disinterest is settling in. Making 3 subs at once (and too late, again) was idiotic, too. He should have made one or two, seen how they impacted the game, and had one left if need be. The garbage goals we got were quickly settled when Southampton regrouped and crowded us out of their box. A 3rd goal was never a threat. .
  8. ...... and monotonously boring, don''t forget ↑↑↑↑↑↑
  9. Are there any other possible outcomes, and if so, what do they mean re: survival?
  10. Yes but sadly it took 8o+ min to get started. Besides, after the second goal, we really didn''t have any good attempts as Soton regrouped and went back to crowding us out of the middle. They should have won 3 - 0 so the final score kind of flatters both teams. .
  11. So where was the "Norwich don''t quit" thread when we beat Spurs? Once again, our few and far between very good games are anomalies. The few times I''ve seen Villa this season, they have been playing hard regardless of the opposition. We often quit. They don''t.
  12. That''s one of the most, of many, idiotic things you''ve posted here, monkey. Cut his cloth? :-D This ragman you see as a tailor designed the product. RVW is the most obvious of a too long list of strikers who have lost their way under Hughton at Norwich. .
  13. Chaucer would have added that the draught of Hughton''s tactics hath percid to the roote of our team''s confidence. Our horse were good, but the results nat gae.
  14. Corey Hart? Ya he will do. He can charm and motivate the lads with Never Surrender, something the current CH hasn''t sung enough of. No one can take away your right to fight and to never surrender.
  15. He was alluding to Lambert. It''s quite simple to see. - Herman You''re quite simple. If it makes you feel better soon to assume you''re being slighted, Herman, that''s ok by me. However, Yellow Bird is exactly spot on. The Villa game was on, and they were playing hard, exciting football against a team they were expected to lose handily to. Had it been WBA or Sunderland pushing a giant to the limit, I''d have alluded to them instead. .
  16. Ya, and we attacked ManC at home to the very end. However, much more often we either protect 1 goal leads unsuccessfully or try to come from behind, and if we do, shut it down and settle for a point.
  17. I know that. My comment is regarding their attacking style that never relents, as opposed to our infrequent ineffective offense. Oooh Chelsea down to 9. Villa in big big trouble now (if 10 is hard to play against, 9 must be unbeatable).
  18. They didn''t play for the draw and have scored against Chelsea who have the (according to Pinkun posters) the advantage of having been given a red card. 6 minutes left. Lambert will keep attacking.
  19. Thank you for being honest with me Houston I came back to see if anyone else commented here, and started laughing again. Imagine the thought process that went into the change only you picked up on. Maybe if I dress like Paul Lambert used to, the fans will love me and the team play hard for me. THAT was his Plan B??? .
  20. And LDC says sarcasm is the lowest form of humor! Getalife, your comment is the brilliantly delivered sarcasm that IS funny. Job well done. I''m still laughing at it. :)
