  1. Maybe it was ghosts of West Ham players past who were saying, "Boo!"
  2. Do they still dress the officials like lab technicians, too?
  3. If they tour the Maritimes, that would be better for you than if they went back to Seattle?
  4. I get that, but they are not getting better and I don''t think we will lose to the same sadsack team yet again in the same season. We will get at least a point. A very valuable point. .
  5. I did a quick search. Her name is hilarious, as is Pat Smear''s. Ya gotta love a band with a sense of humor, like The Dead Kennedys. .
  6. The part about points from the last four games was serious. ↑↑↑↑
  7. Odd end of season results like our win at ManC. We should get a point or 2 from the last 4, and I refuse to believe Fulham are going to take 6 points from us this year. Even Cardiff didn''t do that. None of the promoted sides did. Fulham is as bad as any of them. That''s sarcasti-logic. .
  8. Diabete could be the cure for what ails us. How ironic. If we could sign Ken Oldage, Frank Heartdisease, and Jerry Lungcancer, we''d be unbeatable! Cue whiney responses to gallows humor. .
  9. Like Hooton out says, we''re lucky there are at least 3 worse teams than us this year. Too many "no-shows" make him expendable. .
  10. The points vs place issue came up when comparisons between Lambert and Hug Ton started. In general, it''s placement that counts. It also affects how much the team gets paid. .
  11. Whoops, reposted my masterpiece by accident.
  12. We recently did 4 games like that in a row but just didn''t get the results. Then there were 2 or 3 more recent bad shows, but maybe today is the start of another confident, aggressive run.

  14. If we can keep a tight perimeter, we should be able to get something from the last 2 home games. Also, defense needs to keep its collective head on a swivel. You stay classy, Norwich City at home.
  15. Bad news is too often we have one good half and one bad half. The good news is that was the bad half! .
  16. Good one, BBB! I love how we''re dominating AND scoring. My only concern is that Sunderland look like a League One side today. Is that because of us or are they really that bad, today at least?
  17. If you feel it in your fingers and you feel it in your toes Bor you are Wet Wet Wet. - Tilly Come on, Tilly, and just let it go. (whoa) SNAAAAAHDGRASS! .
  18. Once again , fuzzar, I looked at Southern sources, not google or wiki. Ya''ll is quite common, as I said, I see it more that the expected way although I don''t see either all that much. I do hear it daily, tho.
  19. Did a quick bit of research. Turns out we''re both right in how bad English can be spelled. Ain''t that a kick in the pants!
  20. Any time I''ve seen it written, it''s done as ya''ll. It was explained to me by native Southerners exactly as I put it. I''ll take their word over wiki.
  21. Wouldn''t our current status as a Prem club have a major impact on the valuation?
  22. Actually, it''s not. The a from all is replaced by the contraction. So it''s ya all, or ya''ll. The really annoying possessive is ya''ll''s.
  23. Figuratively, realistically, emotionally, practically, and for all intents and purposes, it''s a must win game, but literally and mathematically, it is not. For those concerned about "loosing", we''ve been playing pretty tight at the back, having conceded just one goal (albeit a penalty) at home this year. Did you all (ya''ll) loose your spelling books?
  24. Sunderland must also be looking at this match up as an opportunity to reign in a fellow relegation rival so we need to be mindful of that.
