1. I think it was in 2002, for a friendly with Ajax
2. Decent on video. However, goal on 4.23 mins. Has to be the worst positioning I''ve ever seen from a keeper. What is he doing?
3.
The difference between Lennons and our view of the value of the last bid lies in how much you think Morrison is worth!
Neither Morrison, nor Morison were offered in the last bid.Morrison because he doesn''t play for us, and Morison because McNally confirmed we aren''t offering anyone for player swaps this window.
4. I can link us to Ibrahimovic  if you like.I saw him at Carrow Road (and I''m not making this up). He was actually there.
5.
I thought the 2nd bid was for that amount Be strange and somewhat pointless if they bid the same amount again. :)
That depends if you believe what some pinkun poster starts a thread with, or what Neil Lennon very clearly said on Tuesday which is the second bid was ''nowhere near £6 million''
6. The Express say we''re going to bid £7m now. If that''s true, then I''d guess it''ll be rejected again
7. I''m sure this will annoy a few people regarding ambition, but I quite rate Mackie. I think he brings a lot to the teams he pays in, and would score a few goals when not surrounded by the muppets at QPR I can''t link posting from my phone, but its on daily mail
8.
I don''t know how I didn''t notice that... [:$]
Not the only one, I luckily didn''t reply though! He sure takes a good shot though, looking at the compilation. And he''s quick as a flashThat said, what about the ones he misses, they might be very wide.At the end of the day, it''s not black and white whether he''d be a good signing or not yet. I think we should snap him up just to see, he may click with the rest of the team.
9.
If Hooper scores against us in a couple of weeks, I will laugh myself into oblivion. I will then march on McNally''s office with pitchfork and torch in hand.
Absolutely. The forum idiots will be happy with anything, even CMS if we get him.Daniel Sturridge went to Liverpool this window, why weren''t we in for him? And now there''s reports of Bayern Munich making a £40m move for Suarez, but I''ve heard NOTHING of us even showing an interest. NOTHING! How are we going to compete with the likes of Bayern Munich if we don''t even put a bid in.
10.
Lennon does not have to play any part in the auction - Hooper''s agent''s have been working on it for the past three months.  Shame that at the moment only Norwich are interested - hey what Hooper agent?
And Hooper''s boyhood club, Spurs, apparently.
11. I live with a Forest fan. He said he was a very good shot stopper at that level. Probably similar to Bunn in that respect. However, his command over the area is poor, and his distribution, absolutely shocking. He said, worst in the league.I suspect he''s roughly on a par with Bunn.
12. I thought the traditional BW transfer hoaxes were a bit late in the coming this year.
13. scare

After Sunderlands win yeaterday and our pathetic performance I cant see Danny Graham coming here, mores the pity. I just hope Hughton has an ace up his sleeve ? pigs might fly me thinks
I find it strange that a footballer would not want to play in the league he wants to just because of one game, or perhaps i''m wrong, perhaps he''s an idiot - you never know
Swansea are already in the Premier League
14.
Agreed I think hooper is definitely looking at the bigger picture, ok he''ll miss out on the champs league this season but he obviously thinks he can further his career with Norwich I think 5 mil is a bit steep but we''ll have to see
Looks like we might be looking at nearer £8m to get him. The £5/6m bid we put in (depends on different reports, probably due to add-ons) was "way under valuation" according to Celtic
15.
Hi Cumbria, Sorry about our response which I find arrogant in the extreme. We sound like one of the established bigger clubs we are always complaining about and are aspiring to be but I would hope with some unpretentiousness.
Oh come on, he''s probably not even on a Luton fan, and if you''d seen his previous threads you''d know he''s just having some fun trying to wind people up
16.
It doesn''t have to be two footed to be a sending off. They''ve messed about with so many rules. If the ref thought that was excessive force then I think he can send him off. Obviously the ref at our game thought differently. It seems this rule is completely down to the refs discretion.
i agree with that, while i personally don''t think the challenge on Johnson was that bad, i probably shouldn''t say a foul at worst because a referee probably could have given a yellow if he thought the studs showing made it a bit reckless.but the debate i was responding to was whether it was 2 footed. a few said it was on this thread, when it very clearly wasn''t.
17. https://pbs.twimg.com/media/A_XWzA2CcAE33Hf.jpgA foul at worst - how can anyone call that 2-footed?
18. Incorrect, the challenge against Johnson he had one leg folded under him, so it was a classic 1-footed challenge. The one today, while some will consider the red card harsh, was with both feet.
19. Apparently there''s a healthy number of carp in the Yare at the moment, you could try there?
20. I just went on the Celtic forum to see what they were saying about Hooper.Last post on the thread is some Norwich fan talking about Hopper.Bit embarrassing.
21. Speaking of Barcelona, it''s worth remembering that Norwich City would only ever be a stepping stone for him, should we sign him... http://soccernet.espn.go.com/news/story/_/id/1078489/celtic''s-gary-hooper-reveals-barcelona-dream?cc=5739#
22.
Death of thread imo.   http://www.pinkun.com/norwich-city/norwich_city_boss_chris_hughton_scotches_talk_of_gary_hooper_transfer_bid_1_1789391
So a manager saying 24 hours ago that we haven''t bid for a player signals the death of a thread reporting a report that we are soon to lodge a bid for the same player despite the fact the two don''t contradict each other at all?No.
23. It appears to be common knowledge that Hooper wants to play in the EPL, and that was always his ultimate goal even when he moved to Celtic. Therefore, he hasn''t signed a contract yet. That said, I would personally be surprised he moves before the Summer, given Celtic''s Champions League run. He may want to stick around for that, ride out the transfer storm in January, while never actually signing a contract, then leave with a year left in the Summer
24. Would bring a whole new meaning to the word HoolaHoop
