Jas, I wish I got my chain yanked like that a little more often!  So what if the club is dressing it up a little bit to look like someone at NCFC had been very clever - the essence is that it was a 1-year loan/deal with an option of a further 3 years if City paid a further 1.1 million.  So not the 4-year deal that they publicised at the time.  Of course this means that the 2.2 million they said they spent on players over the summer needs to be reallocated a little bit - as pretty much everyone assumed that Dave cost us 1 million euros (£700k) - so maybe Cureton, Russell, Marshall et al cost a little bit more than assumed.  This club couldn''t be less transparent if someone smeared vaseline over Fred Scuttle''s glasses.
The club has been perfectly transparent. They NEVER said Strihavka cost £1million at the time. True, they said he signed a 4 year deal, which he HAD. A four year deal with an option for the club to cancel it at any point during the first year to save a ton of money if he wasnt up to it. OK they didn''t tell us that at the time, but they didn''t say anything to suggest this wasn''t the case, surely they don''t have to tell us every detail of every player''s contract? And, surely you have to agree, someone at the club has been very clever. The accounts stated that the club spent £2.2million in the summer on Cureton, Russel and Marshall. Which makes sense given that everyone assumed at the time that Marshall cost £1m, Cureton cost £700k, and Russell cost £500k, as reports at the time said.Where is the confusion?
 2. Quite right blahblahblah.Roeder has said himself that HE has made a valuation of Taylor based on his judgement, and has offered THAT amount. He''s also said he''s not prepared to offer more than that because he doesn''t think the player is worth it. This implies A: that he thinks he could get other players as good as Taylor for £750k, so he isn''t going to go above that, and B: that he does in fact have the means to offer more, he just doesn''t want to, so the board have backed him. (that''s a bit presumptious, but nonetheless I see absolutely no reason to read a conflict into this).

 4.
if your country arnt in the e.u you need to have a work permit. poland are in the e.u so they dont.
Bulgaria are also in the EU.However, the UK have reluctantly followed the lead of the other main EU players by disobeying EU regulations and not accepting the free movement of people between countries (despite the fact us lot can and do go over to Bulgaria in large numbers)This is because last time we abided by those ideas, when Poland joined the EU, your France and Germanies etc clamped down on migration laws then, meaning we were the only large EU country to have no limitations on in-migration, and as such ended up with a lot more Poles in this country than predicted. It''s a pity the attitudes of other countries means we have to introduce limitations too.
