1. There''ll be a few Norwich fans in the Common Room, so if you''re wanting to find somewhere that should be a good shout.
2. Just a warning to the poster above and anyone else planning to pay on the gate tonight. It''ll probably cost £39, £5 pay on the gate fee at Elland Road and I assume the £10 discount provided by Norwich won''t apply. If it''s possibly ring the ticket office and pay more while its not too late
3. The Royal Standard will be showing the game with commentary today, unlike most pubs which will have arsenal v Everton as main game
4. I''m not happy. We went a full page without someone saying Surman is lightweight.Sort it out.
5. Probably McNally banging his head against a wall trying to make the rest of them see reason
6. What with betting now suspended at a couple outlets, and clued up media people like Wyatt saying Adams has the job, it''s a shame Wiz didn''t lump on at 25-1 yesterday.
7. The maths questions is actually: did the team have a better defensive record when player A or player B was on the pitch? The answer being Player A, by a small distance. As for the other question (which is more about football than maths), I have no idea I''m afraid, those stats don''t even begin to suggest anything. Have you got any names?
8.

That being the case and assuming our chief exec was awae of this, did he get it ''horribly wrong'' again when affirming that a manager would be appointed within a week.Plenty of time yet of course
Did he say a manager would be appointed within a week or that the board would make a decision within a week?
The official statement said, "The Board will confirm who our manager will be in the 2014-15 season in a statement to supporters within a week."Which gives them until 7:30pm tonight.
9.
So is RM currently Adams'' boss, in his capacity as Youth Team Manager? Just trying to work out where RM sits in the current structure to try and get my head round his credentials. In some ways, it makes sense to promote from within. On the flip side, the existing talent pool has been completely ineffective this season so hope we''re not just appointing a ''yes man'' to help McNally get his own way in the board room.
I can''t say I know much about Ricky Martin, but I think it''s considered that managing academy''s is fundamentally a similar, but lesser role to a Directer of Football/Technical Director. The rationale being that he will be in charge of trying to install a certain footballing philosophy throughout the managing and coaching structure that will continue throughout changes of manager, etc.For a similar career progression, google Dan Ashworth
10. Here you go kick it offhttp://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-2452292/Iain-Moodys-Cardiff-signings-suspended-Vincent-Tan.html
11. odds jump following a newspaper rumour that Mackay has been offered the job SHOCKER!
12.
As for fox, thanks for what you did in league 1 but bye. So much hype over a midfielder that occasionally pinged a decent ball in.
I reckon that''s a slightly skewed account of Fox. For starters, I would contend that his net contribution for us while we were in League 1 was negative, given that he didn''t play for us and in fact scored against us. As for the Championship, it did take him half a season to settle, but he was absolutely key in the second half for us. And he only improved in the Premier League, becoming one of our players of the season in 2011/12.I think my problem with him is he always seems a slow starter. His first games for us in the Championship he looked out of his depth, and he was dropped, and it took a long time for him to really look at home at the base of the diamond. And since he lost his place under Hughton, he''s never really looked like he can have an impact on a game. I think it will take him quite a while to get back to form, and for that reason, I''m out.
13.
If it''s not Malky or Lennon then the bookies have got it badly wrong. Possible, but they don''t often get it wrong.
I must have missed Lennon taking over at Everton a year ago than, given that the betting market had that as a certainty
14. Yes, that terribly negative season when we finished with a goal difference of 40, almost twice the next highest, and a points tally of 94.
15.
He never said that he didn''t think we could meet our ambition. He just said the move/terms were not right for him. No need to put words in his mouth. I''ll happily retract this and admit my mistake if you can provide evidence that he said "I don''t think they can meet their ambition".
I''m not sure I can, but it was the Dutch guy off WOTB who keeps in touch with interviews there a lot more than everyone else. He said something like Norwich are a very ambitious club but what if they don''t achieve their aims?
16.
Just to clarify the lad talked about not moving just for money in the context of Russia. He wants the EPL and is obviously holding out for the best bid. We are the only ones to have agreed a fee but we could not agree terms with the player, he said that was the only problem. Non of the other EPL clubs have bid yet. The warning signal in respect of terms is he has statedhe wants £60000 week net!
he said if he was moving for the money he''d have moved to Norwich months ago.he said that before any interest from Russia was publicly known about and mentioned Norwich by name. Unfortunately I cant link it at the moment but I''ll have a look if I get time
17. Yorkshire canary said alderweireld spoke about the terms ar Norwich not being right.Alderweireld actually said if he was interested in the money he''d have moved to Norwich months ago, but he isnt convinced we can meet our ambition. He also said he''d rather stay at Ajax. Can''t get any clearer than that
18. Are we going to now have a season of debate as to whether Elmander''s loan counts towards out loan limit now? (*it doesn''t)
19. Not to mention that he usually plays a big creative role, he isn''t just a goalscorer.
20. He''s not set the world alight with his strike rate, no, but neither has Quagliarella - they have fairly similar records. Elmander has done better at international level where he is played as a main striker (a lot of the time he has played a deeper role) and is preferred to Toivonen - who I assume would be even more underwhelming?
21.
I am impressed with his signings but still need to be convinced he can get them playing like a decent team. Only time will tell, alternatively have Martin Oneill on speed dial for November.
Yes, he''s known for his free-flowing style of football....
22.
Norwich let Holt go..... sign a guy the same age, position and type of playerCONSPIRACY
no
