1. ''Cause holy cow, I love you city, And all my life I''ve seen the light. At Carrow Road I''m wide awake, Oh, anyway, it''s looking like a beautiful day. Throw your arms out wide, Chris Hughton''s City will do us proud. Throw your arms out wide, Chris Hughton''s City will do us proud''
2. The original poster has obviously overlooked Kevin MacDonald (who has previously been Caretaker Manager) and Gordon Cowans. They''re far from hard up of coaching staff! But why worry about them, let''s enjoy us!
3. Just wondered if anyone else has huge issues with using the pink''un messageboard on an Android phone? I primarily access the site via a HTC Desire and encounter numerous problems. Despite selecting to ''always being signed in'' it hardly ever is. When I click on ''sign in'' and confirm my details I''m then hardly ever actually signed in. Subsequent efforts to then sign in meet all kinds of different screen outcomes, but most still mean I''m not signed in. Sometimes the main thread screen suggests that I''m not signed in, but on opening some individual threads (but not all) it then reverts to being that I am. Tonight I''ve tried to sign in for over an hour before it will let me post a new topic, although it would have let me reply to 50% of the active threads. Anyone have any solutions? (Buying a new phone isn''t an option)
4. He''s not going to be able to bolster his squad much if ur tries to shop in Norwich. A couple of our players could cost him up to £10m which wouldn''t leave him much. I fully expect him to continue with his previous transfer policy.
5. I half noticed what appeared to be a Sky one to one interverview with PL earlier tonight. If my 3 year old hadn''t been screaming her head off I''d have been able to make out more but it sounded as though PL was a lot more ''glowing about GH and his situation. I''d resigned myself to PL not hanging around long during our Championship season, tonight I resigned myself to GH joining him.
6. Culverhouse and Karsa joining AVAILABLE would incur some form of compensation which I guess would come out of their transfer budget. Perhaps they or PL aren''t willing to sacrifice that. Also you would guess that the current coaching set up may be entitled to a pay off if they were moved on.
7.
Slow Lerner by name and slow learner by nature
I thought that Randy Lerner was just another name for teenager?
8.

If its true that McNally went back to Holt and Payne last week with the offer they wanted and they rejected it then there is no way back Morty. McNally would laugh them out of town if they went back cap in hand. Bloody agents are ruining this game.
It would certainly be a bit silly playing that game with McNally!
If it is true then it sounds as though "they''ve agreed to the 3 years, I reckon if we say ''no'' we can get a few £grand a week more out of them."
9.

According to an article on the Guardian website Villa believe that because Lambert handed in his resignation he is a free agent and that they can appoint him without offering us compensation. If that''s the case then it''s absolutely outrageous. This whole sorry affair is of their design and they should damn well cough up so that NCFC are not left out of pocket and can go and get a new manager of our own. Perhaps AVFC are more skint that we think? After all McNally made reference to Holt costing more than the entire AVFC transfer budget for next season. If so I can''t fathom why Lambert would want to go there. http://aggbot.com/Norwich-City-News/article/16981538
If Villa believe that they`ve got a lot to learn
They tried to claim the same when AM joined them 5 days after resigning at Birmingham. From what I''m aware Villa ended up paying up. How they can claim it again is beyond me!
10. IMHO, contract negotiations should be dealt with in-house and not played out in public. Especially today of all days. NCFC fans needed their captain today. That''s all that was needed to be in the public domain. Unfortunately ours, and his agent, were too busy checking their toys about. Today wasn''t the day, and in public wasn''t the way.
11. I''m wondering if today''s tweets weren''t a way of GH reminding DM that with all that''s happened in the past two days that his situation isn''t yet resolved, in the hope that it will be before a new manager takes over. A new manager could quite easily not rate GH as much as he/PL does and turn him into a bit part player.
12. A lot of people seem to be very good at spending other peoples money. They are obviously just doing so whilst they earn their own pot of cash to buy out NCFC. I''m sure we''ll then see them all gamble absolutely everything + more. I hear that there''s a Nigerian Prince who''s emailing out who.might be able to help.
13. An American sport expert on the radio the other day stated that Boston Redsox weren''t the most successful baseball team on the pitch, the overall brand has ensured that they are commercially. Dalglish wasn''t good for commercial sales (Suarez situation, press conferences etc), but Martinez may well be.
14. Whilst I don''t agree that Downing has done enough this season to earn a place in the squad I can understand why RH has picked him (along with Milner). In Walcott, Young and OxC we''ve got a choice of attacking width with a more defensive minded wide two to replace them depending on what the situation is.
15. Reading back on his Tweets now one he made in reply to Huckerby on Wednesday could have been a well hidden clue. "Domestic career more important now" was his response to DH''s comment about the England squad.
16. Dave McNally has taken to Twitter a moment ago, to encourage people to buy tickets for Tuesday. I may be reading more into his second sentence than is actually there but with to days news I wonder if it''s a veiled dig. "Please please buy a ticket for Adam Drury''s testimonial game against Celtic next Tuesday. He has been loyal to NCFC for 11years"
17. Not that I want to stick up for John Terry but it was teamate''s ex-girlfriend.
18. The conspiracy theorist in me says that there are probably a few of those listed that have already been signed up, but not been made public due to the negative effect it would have on those that haven''t.
19. The main thing for me today was that we had to work blinking hard for every one of our chances, whereas Man City didn''t. If you''d have offered me two draws against Spurs and Man City last week I''d have snapped your hand off. We''ve finished the week with one more point than if that would have happened, so onwards and upwards!
20. A chequered past as an individual but a rising star of radio punditry. He''s currently championing the Grant Holt cause on Twitter, and has the big man in his starting XI for the Euro''s. He''s also getting a lot of positive responses from all across the country. Well played, Stan!
21. It would cost quite a lot of money to replace the number of squad players that many people are suggesting we do. We want to be improving the squad over the summer, but if our transfer kitty is spread over trying to replace 7 or 8 players it isn''t going to go far.
22. These could be very interesting times for the ''big 6'', each of which have their own issues to face. Could times and fortunes be changing? Liverpool - clinging to a top 6 status by half a finger nail. A squad full of over priced, under performing and over paid players. Gerrard''s reaching the twilight years of his career and he has carried them for years. The Dalglish move seemed inspirational at the time, but now it seems as though he believes their past hype. Chelsea - RA''s money bought a lot of players at one time. They''re now reaching their expiry, will RA fund another full rebuilding? Will the UEFA rules allow him? Their Manager situations have been a farce. How can a double winner get the boot? Because Chelsea''s priority is the Champion League. Tottenham - Better than they''ve been in my lifetime, but, has the bubble burst? Redknapp could well be about to be offered the England job and the mere speculation of that has thrown a spanner in the works. Arsenal - 8 weeks ago the fans wanted Wenger gone, now he''s the messiah again. If RVP moves on all the potential in the world wont replace him. Man Utd - Possibly their weekest team for a while, and still a huge dependance on two players with a combined age of 70+. Ferguson can''t continue forever, and their next managerial appointment may well have the most significant impact on the Premier League for years to come. Man City - Very good players that should have won the league this year, but, they were all bought in a very short space of time. In a few years time its possible that the whole squad will need refreshing at once, the money will be there but will the UEFA rules allow it?
23. His latest Twitter profile picture is the first time I''ve seen the new England kit looking any good.
24. Not entirely league placing related, but probably not worth a thread of its own. Liverpool are likely to qualify for the Europa League via their league placing, but have already qualified via their League Cup win. Does the Europa league place go to Cardiff or get passed onto the next league position down? Likewise, if they win the FA Cup (or Chelsea) does that place go to the runner up?
