1. Good post ...I like another have been a supporter since the early late 60''s early 70''s seen some ups and downs . Premiership year was great ,,, we actually played some good stuff at times...saw the awesome Gunners at carrow road.....I thought that our first home win though was Southhampton ??? I had given the tickets to my brother in law. he rang me to tell me the score I was gutted !!! So maybe I remember it wrong ?
 2. My daughter lives on Whiteladies road , redland . I will be going down to stay with her weekend of the Bristol match. So does that make me a Norwich fan in Bristol ? :)
 3.

they probably watched him last nite and realised what little he offerers other than giving the ball away what a breath of fresh air lappin was wide left on sat at least he knows his limits and releases the ball unlike hooligan who disappears up his own arsehole
I disagree, a couple a weeks ago everyone was hoping he''d stay and he puts in one bad sub performance and he''s dreadful.
there is no "one bad performance " more like "was there a good performance in there somewhere ? " If anyone is stupid enough to buy him ....tear their arm off ..and use the money to buy Shackell
 4.
would rather sell russell, because hoolahan is a match winner when behind the front 2!!
I really dont get your comment................He is S*it...................loses the ball more often than he ever does anything positive with it ....Lappin is far better bet to supply balls to the strikers......get some money for him ,,,buy shackell back
 5.

I think its a confidence thing with Cureton I really do. He needs a goal desperately
No it''s not. It''s a "too old and past it" thing.  Gunn brought him back, he got a goal against Barnsley and then did nothing but continue to miss  sitters until Gunn dropped him again.  His time at this club should be over barring the odd 10-20 minute substitute appearance.
Lambo in todays EDP thought Jamie had a fantastic game, hmm? who shall I believe?..............thats a difficult one![:S]
Oh come on Wiz!  Even you''re not dumb enough to believe Lamberts going to say anything else.  He''s hardly going to slag of a player after his first game in charge.  As usual you probably weren''t there so you wouldn''t have seen quite how inept your Jamie was again.  He had the usual amount of chances and, as you have probably read the match reports you will know, didn''t score!  He was woefully short of pace and the only player not to show full commitment in the chase and the tackle.
Sorry where did you read that he did not show the same commitment as everybody else? He was unlucky a couple of times ....and put the work in......I agree that he is not as quick as some ....but many a striker goes on for many yeras slower than before , but still able to make a valuable contributionto the team, I for one believe Jamie is one of these , Give him  a chance , he will score us some vital goals this year
 6.
I didn''t post this to, as someone put it, put down what Gunn has done throughout his career. That was not my intention. However, the club have given Gunn plenty of work over the years and paid his wages, perhaps because they/and he fept like the club owed him a living. It appears that the Head of Player Recruitment role was invented purely to give Gunn any job and keep him at the club. Yet when it came to him being manager a lot of people were saying that they were Roeder''s players anyway, so why have Gunn as Head Of Player Recruitment, it was a nothing role. Now that Gunn''s ties with the club are cut, he can now move on into the world of work and earn a living from somewhere and someone else, because NCFC do not owe him anything. He got what he always wanted, to be Norwich manager, he messed that chance up, good luck Bryan, but I won''t miss you. The above is my opinion and although many will agree, you can''t call me wrong for saying this because as I''m sure you''re aware, opinions are neither right or wrong.
I agree with you ...I for one do not subscribe to the "legend "tag , I think that evryone on here should get less emotional about other peoples .........opinions...........thats what they are and we are all entitled to our own, if we all had the same opinion,,,there would be no need for this message board. As I see it , its another unneccessary drain gone from the wage bill. That unemotional. Legend ??? Ha !
 7.
We need someone with pace who can rip through defenses, score the odd goal, but more importantly set up Holty. That guy = CodyMac
One word..................................deluded !
 8.
Well I''m glad you could only find one thing to comment on, but reading what I wrote again, and the context of "we''ll never play you again". It didn''t cause offence or stop me wanting you to avoid relegation. Norwich - scum of the earth? Yeah right, and Thora Hird''s a c**t too. @Ted, love the perm mate, I grew up in Southampton and used to see that barnet running around Dell :-)
The One quote from your post which I agree with is the reference to Mike walker  leaving for everton. It had indeed crossed my mind, and I agree again with the fact that this is enough to incite a reaction , which  later is possibly regretted. My family comes from essex,so I always watch with interest how Colchester and Southend get along in their games, I wish both clubs nothing but success. However !!! Other posters are absolutely correct in saying that ...you are not the enemy ...just a rival....we have two enemies  the Scum , and wolves . You could never hate Ipshit more than  Norwich supporter...and you have inflicted our worst defeat at home , thats a fact .....................but I think I speak for a majority of Norwich fans when I say that ,,,that does not make us Hate you !! You are a rival who gave probably our worst ever team ,,, a hiding they truly deserved . But my feeling is similar to the one I would Have if my sister slapped my face !! maybe a little peeved ...but I would not have any feeling of hatred. So well done for beating us ......................make the most of it ..............................and Hate the scum too .......we have that in common ..but we hate them more than you !!!! Thanks for listening ......................and I enjoy reading you literate and well written posts..................it makes a change on here :)
 9.
Can''t see why we can''t give the lad another chance, our strikers are hardly setting the world on fire
here here ....I dont think that Cureton has done anything worse than any other of our strikers.......and I think a lot of the criticism comes from over expectation . He never had a  large strike partner in all his time here, unbelievable really considering that was always the reason for his strike rate in his good seasons. When he played along side Ched evans and Dion Dublin, with equal numbers of appearances , he was our top scorer! No one was slaggging Ched or Dion ! The same goes for Cody Mc donald , Grant Holt etc, they are playing above the level they are used to, Chris martin has not had a good run in the team, so I think its time to Give him a chance  .................................and for our sakes as supporters GOOD LUCK TO ALL OUR STRIKERS !!!!  may they all become prolific......soon please !!
 10.
.... than the brutal way in which Bryan Gunn was treated. And just think how Butterworth, Crook, Deehan and the players - especially those he brought in must be feeling. This is not the Norwich way Miss Smith. You must go now. I was rather underwhelmed by the original appointment of Bryan Gunn. But once Team Gunn emerged with the addition of the other former Carrow Road stalwarts I thought why not give it a go and wish them good luck. The psychological mess and loan policy left by Roeder was always likely to lead to relegation, so when Gunn was confirmed as manager, allowed to do a little housecleaning, throw out the loans policy, bring in 12 new players etc I thought Team Gunn would be given a few months to prove themselves. I suspect that stagefright, bad luck and panic fed on each other against Colchester and the the Yeovil result was more a true reflection of the quality of the team. Surely there were no clues in the pre-season build-up which would have predicted imminent catastrope, which supports this theory. No. Panic took over after Colchester, and McNally and Bowker saw their main chance - and Smith acquiesced in the vain hope that they would rescue her from the pending firestorm. Ken Brown is bemused. I am bemused, embarrassed and angry. No matter how hard or difficult things are this is just not the way to do things. Fire Gunn by all means if that is the considered solution. But not in this brutal and unfair manner. I mean, by what kind of judgement do you give a man (a team really) a new contract, allow him to restructure the squad, bring in 12 new players etc and then fire him (them? as they must be almost as culpable mustn''t they?) after a freak  1-7 followed by a good 4-0 against comparable opposition. And still the majority will not admit that their Empress has no clothes! All I will say in summary is that there are ways to do things - and brutality and public humiliation are NOT the way. And the buck stops at the top. And that''s the way I see it. Nuff said. One love. OTBC
Really ???????? Nothing more disgraceful ??? Don''t you go to the games ???? That is more disgraceful by a long way......a fu**ing long way!
 11.
Barclay seats = Complete Moron.
Now thats not very nice is it Bell End ?
 12.
if he was put in charge with 19 games to go last season I dont think we would have been needing a rebate.
Probably hit the nail on the head there  Canadian ......BTW you dont holiday in fort lauderdale ....do all that dreadful parking along the beach with all the quebecians do you ??
 13.

I thinking exactly the same, the tributes seem a bit OTT. I didnt see any tributes for Glenn Roeder.
Are you putting Gunn in the same sentance as Roeder? Really?   Do you know who Gunn is?!?!?![:$]
YES !!  YES !! I do !! bald idiot .....average goal keeper.......hung around here for far too long, taking money under false pretences,  managed to finish the shit job Rodent started !!! Thats him isn''t it ??????
 14.

Then why are we haggling over compo with him so much? surely he''d waver it..............like Peter Grant did.
Why should he - he''s been treated like 5hit  - I''d screw the club for all I could too if I''d been dealt with in this manner
What a stupid thing to say ! he has screwed the club out of a fortune over the years ...cost us a place in the championship ...and should be chased out of Norflok ....useless T*at.....but he will probably get his oddjob man position back at the club.................unless of course this is the beginning of a clear out of his kind , as a precursor to a take over ?? Oh and then people like you and the Delia worshippers can go with him !!
 15.
mcnally was in chief exec when gunn was appointed in may, strikes as desperation to appease some fans and to avoid another mishap like roeder and grant, i cant help thinking they decided this monday before the game at yoevil and werent banking on the win, but because they have to give a set time of working out the week they where stuck with the decision, i think this was another bad call the norwich board have made, yes we lost 7 - 1 but gunn but gunn mde the right choice and dropped the players that didnt perform and we won, showed some balls to do that and i believe he got that right shocked yes at his sacking, surprised no shouldnt of been given the job anyway, panic , yes obviously this is a rash decision due to the 7 - loss and because i dont think this board is capable of a master plan for the club, after all it is still run by alas smith and jones,
Actually Gunn was appointed before McNally !
 16. silly me .....was his name bristol canary ? He means he listened to it on the radio! Like a lot of the posters on here , who rarely go to a game ,so obvious when you read their posts .
 17. So you got home to Norwich from Exeter in 4 hours ???????????????????? F* ck me  what do you have ? an air ambulance ????
 18. The Useless twat had half the season to do something right....we were not in a relegation battle when Humpty took over from rodent. and he obviously had no idea about the job !! Incredible that you people still  defend him !! As for legend............ha ! the only thing that sticks in my mind , is the air kick that cost us against the scum .......I dont think half the posters on this site have ver been to Carrow Road , well only to shop at Morrisons maybe  ..!
 19. should have dropped hoolihan and whaley,  and started with Martin..Lappin, and mc Veigh, just my opinion
 20.
would largely agree, but I can''t see how you would leave Nelson in there!!, he was a close second behind theoklitos today, I''d make Doherty justify his captaincy and keep him there (or play Spillane and keep Otsemebor right back), oh and fill the bench with others not mentally scarred by that today, Daley,Smith,Rudd, Dumic etc
Again ..I almost agree ...make doc earn the arm band, and Chris Martin was trying hard , but was out of position, on the wing , and i think we would do better to play 442 at home at least, using him and maric, keeping cody mc as a sub F*** me this  is not the post I thought i would be making tonight !!
 21. Well I doubt he will do the decent thing and walk........so I guess its down to the fans to do something !
 22.
Kasabian Clubfoot!
Totally agree ...should never have stoped using it
 23.
In the days to call, which we have left behind, Our boyhood’s glorious game, And our youthful vigour has declined With its mirth and its lonesome end; You will think of the time, the happy time, Its memories fond recall When in the bloom of your youthful prime We’ve kept upon the ball Kick it off, throw it in, have a little scrimmage, Keep it low, a splendid rush, bravo, win or die; On the ball, City, never mind the danger, Steady on, now’s your chance, Hurrah! We’ve scored a goal. City, City, City Let all tonight then drink with me To the football game we love, And wish it may successful be And in one grand united toast Join player, game and song And fondly pledge your pride and toast Success to the City club. Kick it off, throw it in, have a little scrimmage, Keep it low, a splendid rush, bravo, win or die; On the ball, City, never mind the danger, Steady on, now’s your chance, Hurrah! We’ve scored a goal. was it to long or something? [:$]
DO YOU THINK ?????
 24.
Don''t he live in Suffolk anyway?
I am so glad someone posted this .........................yes he does ...he has stated it ...with his girlfriend . hge said it was nice to be able to go to his home at night when on loan to Norwich .
