Love the "silly season" banter.... I am sure there is less money for transfers, but you have got to ask where did the "so called" playoff money go because we didn''t buy big last season "£34mil" and took transfer fees in excess of £19mil for Johnson, Grabban, Hooper, Bennett & McGeehan. There is a lot of scaremongering and propaganda flying around but i will agree "there is no smoke without fire", i am trying to lean more to the positive and believe AN is trying to build a more youthful squad with some vintage surrounding them to hasten their growth into top footballers (the Man U way under Fergie). Of course we don''t want to see our club back in the doldrums after such a positive 7 years but we must accept that the club has probably started to focus on a new vision for moving forward and the choices we have as fans is to either "get on board" as we have solidly for 7 years and more or remove our bums from the seats of CR!! I say stick with it and you see the results of the new vision before January 2017 OTBC

It does not help when the "jobs worth" stewards are continually picking on particular sections of the Barclay telling people to sit down or you will get a letter warning you that you will be banned for 2 games! Do the stewards ever get the away support to sit???? The atmosphere is severely harmed because of this, up till the beginning of December the stewards left the fans alone but now they want to stamp out any atmosphere or noise.(if all the fans stayed stood up the club are not going to ban us all are they?) I know someone on here will say that ground charter states fans should sit but to stop this continued hassle for fans and stewards the club should do something publicly about it either in the press or put a disclaimer in with the season ticket renewals then there cannot be any complaints about anything!!!! As things stand the club will eventually lose all the true fans and get the cup game fans which are not really connected to the club. OTBC

Sky Sports News reporter outside Carrow Road this morning states: Paul Lambert told him privately 10 days ago that his time was up at Norwich! This whole drawn out mess should have been dealt with much better because as it is, leave''s a bad taste in the mouth and leave''s us the fans thinking are we heading backwards with the so called "business like club" we have now. Something has gone wrong, personally when the first story broke about Aston Villa wanting Lambert some months ago i think he was then "tapped up" and the whole OGS meeting was a smoke screen into getting Lambert to Villa. The board obviously got wind of Lambert being unsettled and pulled the financial reins in to cover themselves but had to look as though they wanted to keep Lambert because us the fans would have been savage towards them. The board were stuck between a rock and a hard place and its they who have been let down quite badly on this occasion. Lambert is the winner either way but as a man of so called integrity it certainly does not show on this occasion. Sycophant i''m not, i have been a fan since the days of the railway sleepers "69 onward" and have watched the club grow slowly even around all the money thrown at football in the last 20 years. My father was there at the first major growth stage "59/60" and i joined at the next "72" which since we have seen many positives and quite a few lows which i think have brought on by the society we have lived through to this day. Arthur is just trying to show his loyalty to something he has always believed in which i''m sure was past by his family, there are enough of us "true fans" who remember what NCFC is all about and we shall pass this to our offspring and in turn it will be passed again. The "luvvie/Deliarite" comment is way off the mark in my case St.Cluck so you will understand why i have took offence to your comments! Now the club has reached its lowest ebb for 50 years, its the perfect time for the older generations to be heard as the "luvvies/deliarites" will become less due to the position of NCFC, they will be saying there are better things to do on a mid-winter saturday against Carlistle. I said on a previous thred earlier this summer that NCFC is no longer "Delias little Norwich", dropping down to League 1 has made the NCFC potentially the biggest club in that League this season. 18,000 fans will pull the great NCFC back from the depths of derision! Sorry, my point was to show what last years wasted money has left us with, I''m happy with what Mr Gunn is doing with mine and many others rebate and i''m hoping this new breed of player which is "green and yellow" through and through, shows us the true hardy 18,000 fans what has been missing since we got promoted to the Premier League. The trialist issue must be able to dig out a gem or two! There are many people upset about the amount of freebies and trialists at the club this year and with my post i was showing what NCFC has been left with after most of last years transfer budget was wasted on loanees. People have to realise the club has no money due to many factors which have long been spoke about, there are clubs who are being taken over at this time, we are not one of them due to the clubs stability. If we are an average League 1 side now, its a damn sight better than being an below average Premiership side we were 5 years back, personally i see NCFC as an above average side in League 1 with the potential to really put a side together that will not only fight around the Top 2/Play Offs but put the club in good stead for a positive place in the Championship next year like clubs such as Bristol City/Swansea have done over the last 2 years. I''ve vented my fury on here like many others about the poor administration with regard to the clubs owners and inept board but now we are at our lowest ebb in 49 years and these issues and problems must be put aside for another day so Gunn and his team can try and build something. Their are 2 types of Canary fan on here, the "happy clapper/Delia disciples" as Smudger puts it, but in my eyes they are "true NCFC fans" and then the "rabble rousers" such as Smudger (no disrespect Smudge!) and its now we should all be putting our heads together to come up with a positive plan to assist the club who we dearly love and move it "onward & upward" away from the decline which has set in over the last 5 years. People are concerned about the new players coming in but until they play and bed-in to the team we should not be giving any opinions about them, lets just get Carrow Road rocking again because i''m sure all but 2 or 3 clubs next season will be fearing NCFC home and away for sure! C''mon guys feel a bit more confident, yes we would like to playing those sides but it gives me a fillup when in terms of NCFC finally putting a side together to return to the Championship.
