1. If it is the case that Hollman has been booted it is a great shame, but I''m sure it was Roeder''s choice. Tommy Wright is a Northern Irish ''keeper and currently managing a club in Ireland, but he use to be at Newcastle with Roeder. (The wonder''s of Wikipedia)
2. The current goalkeeping coach is James Hollman, and has been since 2002. No goalkeeping coach has been sacked, Webster went to Ipswich, as he was freinds with Burley.Doncaster may not be perfect, but let''s not blame him for things he hasn''t done, as well as the things he has done.
3. I reckon there is about 1.5 - 2 million avaliable to Roeder. I think he will spend a chuck of it on Patterson and wants to get a striker in aswell. Gallagher will go for a nominal, and Breiller will probably be around til the summer. I think Murray only has 6 months left on his contract, so we can''t get much for him. I''m really not sure who we have that we can sell and get a decent amount of money for.Probably a little late for a share option, should of done it a month back to cash in on Christmas. I don''t think we lost out on Taylor because the money isn''t there, I think it was Birmingham over inflating his price, and QPR offering a deal for him and Vine, probably more attractive to Brum. It''s hard to know how much we have, as loan fees are rarely disclosed, I would be surprised if all those loan players came for free. Hopefully someone on the board will feel generous, not that the attitude of a lot of fans deserve it.
4. I agree that Lewis will be an excellent keeper, I''m not as convinced as you are about Marshall. I was actually pretty confused why Grant felt it was wise to spend a million on a player, when we have someone like Lewis waiting in the wings. We could just of got a someone like Gilkes in for a year, then played Lewis.I think Timms is only here to cover injuries, Gilkes is out for another month or so, which left us with just Arnold and Marshall. Do the Norwich and Ipswich goalkeepers still train together? I know that was the case a few years back.
5. Another aspect of us not getting an extension to the loan is the fact QPR had an offer accepted, which may have been on the terms that the loan wasn''t extended. They certainly wouldn''t want a player they are trying to buy playing for a relegation rival and risking injury.I just hope everyone''s fixation on Taylor doesn''t mean the board pay above the vaule for this player just to keep us all happy, although Taylor was a great player for the month he was here, loanees often play a little above their normal game and the last thing we need is a million pound one month wonder.
6.
I thought we''d ''waved'' the ''sell on'' for Green as part of the compensation package we had to pay for getting Grant. If so, well done Doomy and the board.[:@] Gee, you couldn''t make it up!.[:''(]
I think we only waived  the 150k we would of got if Ashton gets an England cap.
7. Arsene also signed Richard Wright, it is quite obvious where his preference for overseas players comes from after that bunch of failures (excluding Walcott). I don''t think he would buy Greeno as he likes keepers who can distribute the ball well, something I felt Green didn''t do very well. West Ham would also be really reluctant to sell, Green has quickly become one of most popular players.Must admit would love to see him at Arsenal. Also, doesn''t Ashton have a sell on clause as well?? There could be real money in that.
8. This sounds like the normal pre-transfer window nonsence. I think it is best to ignore just about everything said about the Taylor transfer until January itself. We could offer Birmingham 10 million, we still wouldn''t get him until January 1st.  What is the point in getting involved with a war or words with the Birmingham board?Although it is annoying, it is probably best the board don''t talk to much about transfers.  I always felt Worthington''s tight lipped approach was better than Grant''s "tell the whole world and watch another team buy the player."
