1.

ok hogesar i really dont mind people having a go at normal hip hop like 50 cent , eminem etc but J Dilla makes music thats good for the soul. Please dont have a go unless you''ve heard his music... which i doubt you have.
Sorry, i can''t deal with nothing similar to 50 cent etc. It''s all pop-punk, punk, metal for me [:D]
Pop punk? Like McFly?? [;)]Don''t worry J Dilla is nothing like 50 Cent. Respect to you "J Dilla Rest In Beats", at last someone with good taste in music. Looking at the thread about people''s favourite albums I was starting to think all Norwich fans had shocking taste in music.
2.
Today we get a story from archant stating Roeder steps up search for a striker (NO) Centre Back (NO) etc... but a Keeper (Yes)! For christs sake, we have not even got a defence to play in front of him. How about stepping up the search for the other 10 positions filled with crap beforehand!!Sad Fact is, we had a great keeper that could of challenged for the No1 spot this season, he is already in the England squad ahead of Robert Green!! The club let him go for a pathetic 400,000 or so and he is already being priced up at 3-4 Million!!Our clubs transfer poilcy stinks and I have had enough of the whole thing, Crap rumours, spin, free signings, an absolute pathetic shambles of an organisation. The sooner they are driven out the better, I am sure Roeder would not have decided to sell Joe unless he needed the money! Which came from peterborough for christs sake. Get out of this club now and let Doncaster close the door on the way out!!
Are you glad you got all that off your chest? I would just like to say a few things1) Roeder has come out numerous times and talked about getting new defenders and strikers, way before he mentioned anything about a GK. What the EDP chooses to write about isn''t up to Roeder. On Friday he talked about getting 3 or 4 strikers in, or is that not enough?2) Joe Lewis was in the England squad because all other choices were on holiday, and it was two, mean nothing friendlies. If Greeno hadn''t of been climbing some mountain he would of been in the squad. Joe was with the under-21s and readily available. He is being priced up by Barry Fry, if you believe everything he says you are more foolish than you already come across. 5m for McLean anyone???3) Crap rumours, whose fault is that? Doncaster? Delia? Roeder? The overactive imagination of fans and local media trying to pick sales up in close season? 1 free signing so far and Clingon sounds like he is a pretty good player. Yet to see him play, but have read a lot of good things about him. When you consider we have spent 250k and have Clingon, Hoolihan and Betrand in, I think our transfer policy is working out pretty well at the moment. 4) Back to the Joe Lewis thing (surely this has been covered to death), 400k is a really, really good price for a player who''s entire experience was 6 months in League 2. Especially when you consider we have Marshall, Rudd and Steer.Just try to relax, and the new players will start coming in over the next few weeks. Maybe we''ll spend big bucks, maybe we won''t but Roeder has been pretty consistent with his transfers so far. So I won''t worry too much.
3. He isn''t the greatest of public speakers, but I always find his interviews very interesting. Glad to see the club are going away for a while, the further away from all this Cullum stuff the better. Bertrand back is also such good news. Have a strange feeling every signing we make this summer will prove to be an excellent choice. Feeling strangle positive about the up coming season.... but that might be because it is sunny and a friday and I finally have a weekend off!
4.

Cullum is very shrewd,  He is trying to stage an agresive take over through the media using us fans as a lever. I am sure we will hear from the board soon putting their side of the story but if he still keeps waving the "If they don''t take my offer they will struggle" in front of the fans noses who will listen to the board?. P.C. is playing the fans like a stradivarius Violin ( very well ). If this keeps up no one will care if it is good for the club long term or if the offer is fair to the present owners, all the focus will be on fear that we will get relegated if we dont let the white knight ride to the rescue. I know we need investment to progress and soon but I am beginning to dislike this guy and his methods. He is taking the fans for fools as much as the present board it is just that the "spoon full of sugar" is very big
What other methods can he use to put his point across? If the Board refuse to compromise in THEIR asking price, and refuse to enter into negotiations before PC states that he wants to buy DS & MWJ shares then i dont see that PC has any other options available to him.
I agree with you very much sturgeon. He is trying to get the club on the cheap, and is backing Delia and co. into a corner. Which is making them shut up shop (which I''m not sure is the right approach but can see why they are doing it).If Cullum really wants in, he should at least MAKE AN OFFER! and stop just talking about it.  TBH, I think it is now too late for an offer, Cullum should wait until the transfer window has closed or he risks completely ruining this club. Any take over will take at least 2 - 3 weeks to go through and we only have 1 month before the season begins. We can''t afford to miss out this vital transfer time, dealing with a potential take over. We all want a trasfer budget of 20m, but it is effectivly worthless if we can spend it.
5. I''m with you 100% Caluldonum, us media types have to stick together.IMO, Cullum has launched his little announcement at the worst possible moment for Norwich City. He could of done this the weekend after the season ended. There would of been a month/6 weeks to sort this horrible mess out then. He chooses 1day before the team get back together, and the moment the transfer window is getting up to speed to open his mouth. Imagine if this had been the other way round, everyone would of been screaming themselves red in the face about Deila''s horrible timing. As I see it, Cullum is trying to rush the negotiations and get the fans on his side, all those sound bites of "emotional investment", and gestures of a fan on the board. This would be a board of 1 fan and God knows how many of Cullum''s men, what a magnificant offer. Rushed negotiations would only really profit one person, CullumThe Club''s statement was the starting point of new negotiations, made very public to play Cullum at his own game. It''s time for Cullum, in the words of John Major, to "put up or shut up"
6. Ameobi will be unveiled after the move is funded by Peter Cullum......." Bloody got my really excited! Let''s hope (and pray) you''re proved right next week. I heard this as well!!! Not sure if the source is credible, as it was a friend commenting on what someone he works with said (tenuous, I know). I was told the other week and felt it was just talk, but read what someone said on here about an "important board meeting" last Friday and then Delia hinting at investment. I may be adding 2 and 2 together and getting the square root of pi, but you never know.....
7. Yeah, but is he any good at dodgeball?
8. Through my work I have had the pleasure of meeting Frank Arnesen a couple of times. The most recently of these was just before the beginning of Euro 2008. After official business, I spoke to him about Bertrand and it wasn''t great news for Norwich. Frank rates Ryan pretty highly and has reffered to him as the "new Ashley Cole" more than once. There is a real push to get Ryan into the first team this year, but more likely next. Mainly as cover for Cole, but probably getting run outs in the League Cup. Of course, I spoke to him before Scolari was made manager and "Big Phil" will certainly have some say in the squad, but the final decisions are up to Arnesen and if he wants Ryan there, then no one will say otherwise. What happens to Ryan is very dependant on the comings and goings at Stamford Bridge, it looks like Lampard, SWP and even Joe Cole might be leaving. This would reduce the amount of English guys there, and players like Bertrand will be needed to make the Champions League quota. Also Scolari will want some of "his" players to come in, and any young left sided player will pretty much kill Bertrands chances at Chelsea.
9. To be honest, I would rather the Police Forces spent their money on something else than controlling a football game. Also the moving of the match increases the chance of Sky picking it up.Remember there are more important things than football in the world.
10. Jerusalem represents all that was wrong with English Empire building and I would hate to have it as our National Anthem. It''s basically a song about how Jerusalem is built in "dark satanic" lands and the singer won''t rest from killing muslims until Jerusalem is rebuilt in England. Not a very 21st Century message is it?At least songs like Land of Hope and glory have a more positive message
11. I get paid to travel and watch football matches. It''s a tough life.
12. Mighty bees? Is that like the Mighty Ducks, maybe we should use the flying V formation.
13. Carroll is very highly rately and often compared to Crouch, however he didn''t hugely impress while at Preston (although Chris Brown has, it''s a funny old game). Think he is certainly worth a million, especially as we need a target man and would be nice to have some good young players, rather than the average bunch we have at the moment, or aging veterans.
14. My first ever game was Nagoya Grampus Eight vs some other team. Nagoya were managed by Wenger and Linekar was there, although not playing (of course).
15. He is probably my favourite player of all time so I would love him to play for us, and would add some much needed flair to our side. He was the best player on the pitch by a long way when Hull came the Carrow last season.Unfortunatley I think he will retire rather than do another year in the Championship, such a shame.
16. The "interest" Norwich had is pretty streched, Roeder mentioned him in his column ages ago, and Sibierski has said he wants more first team football. Not really a strong link, more like a story to sell papers.
17. I don''t think he has been forgotten about, but from what I have heard he will be on the fringes of the first team next year as backup for Ashley Cole and Wayne Bridge will be on his way out. This is dependant on who the new manager is of course, and what powers he is given.
18. Born just outside of Norwich, moved to Japan at a young age but always supported from afar due to my Dad''s love of all things NCFC. Did have a brief misguided time of supporting Newcastle, as I could actually see their games on TV, but when then signed Ruel Fox it was all over.Living back in Norwich for the first time in 8 years, so loving being able to go to some games.
19. He signed a 3 year contract in May, so he isn''t a free agent.
20. I can''t see how we are actually linked to this guy. Sounds like classic Archant rumor mongering to me. Roeder mentioned, some time ago now, how he bought Sibierski for Newcastle and he thinks he is a good player. Sibierski mentions how he isn''t getting as much football as he would like and BANG!! "City linked with Sibierski", despite neither party mentioning each other in the last couple of days/weeks. Roeder also mentioned Martins in his column and Newcastle are thinking of selling him apparently, the Pink''Un will be coming out with "City linked with Martins" soon. And to add to that, when the Pink''Un says we are linked to Sibierski, it is by another Archant paper the Evening News, hardly a large variety of sources is it?
21. I would say all the stories about transfers, especially ones mentioning specific players, have origniated either from other clubs i.e. Bell or just from the imagination of jurnos. A bunch of the stories involve quotes from Glenn Roeder which are several months old at least i.e. Sibierski (sp) and Hoolahan or are just rehashes of our January transfers targets i.e Patterson, Taylor etc. and it''s pretty easy for lazy jurnos to pick up on these stories, especially as Norwich need players in just about every position. In the words of Public Enemy "Don''t believe the hype!!"
22. Were you in the home or away changing room?
23. I agree, Kewell would tear up almost any defence in the Championship. I think he has come in for a lot of unfair critism in the last couple of years. But also agree that it is academic as Norwich would be very far down his list of places to go.
24. There seems to be a pretty large over reaction here on some pretty large assumptions and some twisting of evidence.Roeder says loans are the way to go, so you assume he means he can''t afford to buy anyone. We let a bunch of underachieving youngsters go, you assume we are cost cutting and can''t afford them. If we really wanted to cut costs it wouldn''t be the Jarvis bros going but Fozzy and Doc leaving. Also, the club publishes the accounts every year, and I know people bash on about them being doctored etc, I seriously the club would alter the accounts to a point of illegality! Also, if we were relegated I doubt it would push us into admin. Them amount clubs receive in TV revenue really isn''t that different from the Championship to League 1.Stop looking for doom and gloom and just wait and see what happens.
25. Scouts will go out to most youth competitions across the county. Norwich are pretty good at looking out for youngsters (especially u-9s) and I know several people who help coach youth teams and they often have NCFC scouts there.
